Summary: Brilliant Game
Review: I've played a number of online games and this is probably one of the best i've come across in the last year or two. I rather liked Ascheron's call, but this is way more fun, with the only player killing happening when your whole "realm" goes to war with another "realm" full of other players.

good magic effects, and a fairly decent number of spells. the number of classes, and races keeps the game very diverse. I've played on a friends account for abt 3 weeks now, and i have to get this game for myself.

Brilliant game. Although the system requirements are a bit savage.

still, great gameplay, very good graphics, and a wonderful community of players makes me give this game the thumbs up!

Summary: Well thought out game . . .
Review: DAoC has proved to be a superb game, although a little sceptical during beta phase I must confess that this has just become an absolute favourite. I've binned EQ in favour of this and not once thought about reverting back (even with the onset of SoL). Great look and feel throughout the game, fun through the levels (which are definately slower than in EQ - but a lot more fun). Well worth checking out by anyone who loves the genre.

Summary: YAHOO! I'm in heaven!!!
Review: This has to be one of the best games I have ever played. Its leaps and bounds ahead of anyother out there, at least where gameplay is concerned. Not only is it fashioned for fun in mind, but also it is crafted to be a very competative game as well. Those who like pvp mmrpg's will like this.

Summary: Dull Dull Dull
Review: Im an EQ player. Thought I'd give this a shot as some of my friends on EQ recommended it to me.
Visually it is magnificent. other than that the game is as interesting to me as watching Ice melt. they have taken all the things people used to complain about in Everquest and gotten rid of them, however the didnt Include the things that make EQ interesting. Multiple areas to adventure in and different foes in different areas. In DAoC travel the world and encounter basically the same creatures you fought when you were on the other side of the world.

The most fun I had in DAoC was pressing the "Delete Account" button

Summary: Just the beginning and already blows EQ out of the water
Review: I played Everquest for 2 years, and I must say this game is all EQ should have been and more. My experience with Customer Service has been outstanding. The graphics are phenominal, you must see a sunset in this game. The multiple paths that can be chosen aloow you to be anything but a cookie cutter player. If you liked EQ you should really give this game a chance.

Summary: well done but who has the time
Review: fun for a bit but who has the time to play these games? Obviously there are a bunch of under- or unemployed people/students who can find 40 hrs/week to level up their characters. Not as much fun if you only want to play a few hours a week.

Summary: Good Bye EQ, Camelot is here to take your place
Review: Hmmmm lets see; Questing to gain half a level each level, Trade system that works, not geared to power gamers but to people who want to have fun with there friends, Not geared to umber guilds, and did I say quest that work that have sweet stories that everyone can do every level.
Customer Support that works, they are honest and they admit there mistakes. If they have made a mistake they admit it and tell you how they are going to fix it. They don't blame you or tell you that this is just a game. What a change.

Summary: Excellent, but could be bigger
Review: I bought this game a week ago and have been playing it for hours since. While its extremely enjoyable and has a very rich world, the world isn't quite as big as i expected it to be. Of course, there's still exploring on each realm to do (I just stopped playing D2, this is a great change), but i expected the world to be as big as EQ. However, this game has far better graphics and concepts (no doubt you've heard that RvR owns you :P), as well as tons of choices to make from which god to follow, which class, what you want to do in that class, etc. I strongly reccomend buying this game. Summary: This Game Blows EQ Away!
Review: The people who developed this game are clearly catering to the Everquesters who've had enough of the juvenile banter, constant waiting and just plain awful programming that takes away from the promise of what EQ was supposed to be. DAoC was designed around the convenience and desire of the players, NOT the programmers. While I admit that both games are highly addictive and that EQ was very fun (10% of the time), I'd like to at least suggest that anyone who enjoyed EQ at all take a shot at this game. I think they'll find it's much better, graphically, soundwise and it moves at a much faster pace. It's also better as far as looting and PvP, where EQ falls completely flat on its face. I know that EQ is coming out with Luclin in December, but Luclin is just a new paint job. It doesn't really solve the problems with looting, meditating, waiting, waiting, waiting and just hours and hours of wasted time.

Summary: Control
Review: The thing I enjoy most is amount of control you have over your persona. From choosing your realm to deciding where to put your training points you have the freedom to develop any way you want. Your aren't forced to play one style. Good choices or bad, it's all up to you
