Rating: Summary: Excellent Review: I've played a lot of this game. It is fantastic -- a great RPG for racing buffs. Highly recommended.
Rating: Summary: ...is nothing to pay per month!! Review: Compared to other games I've had to pay to play online, this is small potatoes...I'll pay $... to play NASCAR 4. And I paid $... per month to play NASCAR 2!! So $... is nothing compared to these other games. This game is awesome, the beta needed some work but it still was a great game. So if you ask me it is very much worth the money to play this game online. So go buy it already!!!jcchase
Rating: Summary: Motor City Costs (...) to play Review: Do not buy this product unless you wish to pay (the cost) per year in service fees for "online" play which is the only mode the game will function. I could not even install it because I would not provice EA.com with my credit card so they could start the service contract and billing me in my sleep.
Rating: Summary: Caution ! ! ! Review: Think before you buy this. There is a monthly fee to play it online. The kicker is there are no offline opponents to race against. So if you can't or don't want to play online your out of luck.
Rating: Summary: Crossover to the max Review: Mark my words; this game will bridge the divide between "weirdy beardy" online RPG players and arcade fanatics. It has, quite literally, the best of both worlds - I played the beta extensively (anyone from beta - hey, yogibear50 here), and, even though it was pre-release software, and therefore HIGHLY likely to be buggy, towards the end it became an unfeasibly easy game to connect to, and the transitions between race "pits" and game lobbys such as auctions and the workshop were utterly painless (although noticeably slower [just!] than an offline game on my measley 56k modem). The racing is pure Need For Speed; frenetic, addictive, fast-paced, addictive, polished, and, oh yeah, did I mention addictive? Here is a test for whether you should buy this game IMMEDIATELY: 1) Do you like RPGS? 2) Do you like driving games? 3) Are you alive? If you answered yes to ANY of the above questions, you should definitely buy this game. It has something for everyone. Heck, it defines the phrase "something for everyone". I could go on for pages, but I am going to stop there and let you find out for yourself, because if this hasn't convinced you to buy Motor City Online, nothing will! Oh, one last thing; This is an ONLINE ONLY game, so if you don't have an internet connection, do NOT buy it. You can do absolutely NOTHING without an internet connection on this game... So if you are reading this at an Internet Cafe, this means you!
Rating: Summary: CyberSkull-American Muscle Club Leader Review: In the beta of Motor City Online.. I run the most succesful club in the game. The club name is American Muscle. My name in MCO is CyberSkull. The max people you can have in a club is 100 people. I have 100 people and people asking every minute to join. The game is extremely fun and addicting. It is the only game I have played that is more addicting than Diablo 2 or even the giant everquest. You might think I'm crazy comparing a car game to those great rpgs but, you havnt played. The game consists of racing with all the goodness of Need for speed in a Massive multiplayer environment. The game pretty much creates a world for the user to thrive in. Racing, goreous graphics, and awesome cars. What else can you ask for?
Rating: Summary: WOW!!! Review: This game is amazing, i have been playing it non stop, customize your car with over 200 different parts to choose from, or head to the detail shop to change the sound of your horn, get tinted windows, paint job, fuzzy dice, wheelie bar or roll bar. it truly is an amazin game with many different types of racing including drag racing and street racing. i love this game because it is impossible to beat and new things are always happening!!
Rating: Summary: AMAZING Review: This game is the best sports game for computer I have ever played. I am just playing the BETA release and it is already very very good. I am planning on pre-ordering the game today. The only thing that i am not looking forward to is the monthly fee. But well worth it anyway.
