Rating: Summary: Awesome strategy game! Review: Commados by Eidos is an extrodinary game with spectacular graphics and awesome attention to detail. The missions are very complex and require the user to think through what he/she has to do before they do it. i havent stopped playing this game ever since i got it. There are around 20 missions to play, and some of them take hours. I love this game a reccomend it for any gamer!
Rating: Summary: Commandos Review: Commandos is a good game. It is unlike any other. It has goodAI and level design. It is fun and challenging. However, it says it ishistorically accurate, but is actually pretty wrong. For example, the Green Berets (like the one on the cover) weren't even existing during WWII. The game is still cool.Five starz! * * * * *
Rating: Summary: This is what we call strategy game Review: Commandos,is not a simple game ...its a game for people who ask for lots of action and thinking and enoyability without getting too much prework before real action begins...this game gives it all...simple tasks simple players but complicated missions. The amazing in this game is that its not one of the strategy games that there is only one way to solve a mission!Even in the difficult ones there r key moves that can make things easier for you.Its one of the very few games that works only if u imagine yourself in the place of the heroes you r handling....excellent!

Rating: Summary: Commandos is Great War Game Review: I play many different war games, and I have to say this is one of the best that I have played. The graphics and story line are very good. The control of the players is a little difficult at first however if you do the training that they have it is very easy to pick up how to move the players. Well take many hours to complete the whole game successfully. Which I think makes it well worth the money.
Rating: Summary: Very Impressive Review: If your looking for a game that will keep you thinking for hours on end, then Commandos is the game for you. This game may follows the same way as other RTS games but the way it's set up is truly unique. All of your men have to make it out alive. If even one of them dies, it's all over. The challenge is really good to. It took me over a hour to figure out some the early missions. Definitely a game that you won't get bored with.
Rating: Summary: Say goodbye to all your other games Review: In a world full of 'cookie-cutter first-person shoot-em-up' games, this one stands as one of the best games ever. Instead of mindlessly shooting everything in sight, one must think and plan to win in any of the scenarios -- quite often a mission can be completed without killing everyone. I've owned this game for several years now, and keep coming back to it as it never gets old since you find yourself trying different methods. No special equipment is required such as force-feedback joysticks or voice-recognition. Just a good-response mouse, keyboard, and plenty of your favorite refreshment as you will be playing this game for hours. One drawback to the game is that people who don't have it will never understand your passion for it.

Rating: Summary: It's worth the 5 stars!! Review: Just take a look at the front cover of this game and you can think to yourself that this will be good and it was and still lives up to such a great game. Having been out for sometime I have still not lost interest. When you feel like a relaxing game infront of the computer then look no further but you may not need to relax too much as oyu been a bit of consentration. The battle scenes are so life like and are like you are actually controlling the commandos to complete the mission. When playing it you really think that you are there comtrolling the whole mission and how to get through it. The variety of weapons and types of characters are really superb but one thing that could be better is that they should be able to pick up any type of weapon that they can instead of having a certain set for each character. But you forget all this when playing as you get used to it and the different weapons that they all carry are so great anyway. Even being able to see where the enemy are looking adds a great touch to it. All the different locations make the game even more so realistic and great to play. All it needs is a bit more expanding and it will change from being a superb game to a amazing game. You will not be disappointed.
Rating: Summary: Very, very tricky... Review: My initial excitement for this game was soon squashed by the frustration brought about by the realization that the later missions are essentially very complex puzzles that require a linear approach and split-second timing. I like the concept of team members with a different array of skills and equipment, with the spy and the sniper being personal favorites. (Although the need to limit the sniper's ammunition is understandable from a play-balancing perspective it seems very unrealistic to suggest that a soldier could only carry five bullets.) The team roles however add to the frustration, since the death of any member will cause you to fail a mission. Your team members seem to die distressingly early and often, so one may feel obligated to save accordingly. This merely compounds the difficulty and frustration of the later missions. I soon realized that this game just wasn't fun anymore.
