Rating: Summary: An epic game of empire-building and conquest!!!!!!!!!!! Review: "How will you rule the world? Conquer enemy civilizations? Discover the world's secrets? Accumulate wealth? As the guiding spirits of a Stone Age tribe, follow one of these paths to build the greatest civilization on earth". When reading this on the back of the CD case in the store, I new I'd love this game. You can research paths that leads to the economic, military, or naval technologies best used to achieve the game goals. You can command one of 12 ancient civilizations, from Egyptian to Greek. Each with there own unique attributes based on their historical counterparts. This game is always challengeing and has a sophisticated and ajustable artifical intelligence for hours of fun and replay value. My only complant is if you have played the newer Age of Empires, don't play this. You'll be bored in minutes. This game is for the rookies who are looking for a good conquest game. For a 1997 game, the graphics and sound are very good. This is a must for those rookies out there.
Rating: Summary: Very good, but not as good as Age of Empires II Review: Very fun real time stratagy game, but I would recomend
AGE OF EMPIRES II: THE AGE OF KINGS over it any day.
