Summary: A minor correction...
Review: First off, this game rocks. But I'm not here to do a review, I wanna corect the Amazon.com info on vehicles:There are 6 new vehicles, and no 4 wheel scout ATV(It was changed to a hoverbike). The vehicles are the Bewolf tank(One driver seat, one gunner station with machine gun and mortar), the Shrike(A scout/anti air craft with 2 heavy blasters and recon equipment linked to command screen), the Thundersword bomber(One driver, one bombadier/turret gunner, one tailgunner), the Wildcat(The scout turbograv vehicle mention earlier) the Jerhico(A mobile base that, when activaded, implants intself into the ground and becomes a base with inventory station, sensor jammer and missle turret), and the 6 person transport.

Summary: Good Gameplay, Good Graphics, Fair Chopyness?
Review: Well, in all the anticipation (delaying the game for over a year) I expected less bugs and maybe better guns. The vehicles.. well they still drive like they are on ice.... even the big tanks drive like its floating and yet it has wheels.... hrmm. All and All its a fair game. Sierra really needs a patch out soon! As for the in-game server features its pretty nice. I have a 600mhz, GeForce 32mb (The original GeForce) runs pretty smooth.. so if you got a ATI Rage Pro on a 333mhz comp and play the game..... Do us a favor and don't post a review! cause like the only people who rated with 2 stars are the people who have bad computers... I recomend buying it! I'm sure sierra will fix all the bugs (which there is little of).

Summary: Action game with Real Time Strategy elements.
Review: Wolfenstien 3d, Doom, Quake II, Unreal Tournament/ QuakeIII now Tribes2. Those games in decending order are the best selling action games of their time. Notice the biggest trend, which seems to be a more of an online gaming focus. Tribe was a fantastic game, yet not many took notice. This time Tribes2 is being noticed for two reasons. Hype & a lot better internet connections. Does it live up to it's hype? Read on. Tribes2 is an online game, which has gone far beyond the level of Unreal Tournament or Quake III. Whereas in those games, the game play is fairly singular, in Tribes2 the real time strategy elements make this game a real treat. A typical Capture the flag in Unreal Tournament would involve a quick run, a grab and a return to score. In Tribes2 things are far more complex. You have to play to see the beauty. Every player is specialized. And you must be unselfish to score. The biggest complaint seems to revolve around the enormous system requirements. I have a fairly modest computer, yet I am running at 800x600 resolution and FULL DETAIL. All you have to do is download better drivers for your Geforce and run at OPEN GL and you will have no problem. The bottom line for this game is, that it's loads of fun for the action loving, strategy loving "intelligent" gamer. In a nutshell, it's like playing Unreal Tournament, in a StarCraft world. Enjoy this game.

Summary: Fun, but not impressive.
Review: I play FPS on a regular basis, QUAKE, UREAL, and the like. TRIBES 2 is definatly a lot of fun. Nice open maps, the ability to fly. You have a jet pack to do this. You can even drive vehicles! Now that is a good idea! It really makes the teamplay more fun. Now onto that very subjet of teamplay. TRIBES 2 was meant as a multiplayer experiance. But as with UNREAL TOURNAMENT, I once again find very little teamplay. No one seems to work as a team. There is no communication. It is because of this that I prefer QUAKE 3 deathmatch. I can just blast away at whomever. You can play deathmatch in TRIBES 2, but the most popular game is Capture the Flag, which is my least favorite game for the reason I mentioned above. No one works as a team. Rabbit, I think is the best game in TRIBES 2. This game would have gotten five stars if, all the gamers really did work as a team in CTF. This is what the game was designed for:teamwork. The game has great weapons and unique tactics to winning, beacuse of your jet pack ability. And it IS fun. I just long for that ultimate teamplay game. This one isn't it.

Review: Never before have I gotten a game that has an appoligy note built into it. If there are still major defects, the game shouldn't be for sale.

Review: ...you own a Voodoo card. The Voodoo compatability is terrible right now. If you own a Voodoo card, wait a month or two and then see if they have improved the performance. If you already own an nVidia based card, you should definately get this game. It has a lot of depth and unlimited replayability.

Summary: Beta quality - don't waste your $$
Review: Shame on Sierra for releasing a beta quality game. Just go look at the tribes2.com forums - everyone's having serious problems, ranging from crashing to horrible framerates. And that's not even counting the problems with network support. Don't believe the hype. This game is a waste of your money; wait a few months & see if they fix it.

Review: I'm sure that it is a good game, if you can get it to run. They released this game to early, it still has way to many bugs in it. Much more than any other game I've installed. Wait a few months.

Review: WOW! Very much improved from the origional, Starseige Tribes. The "skiing" glitch has been removed, along with many other improvements in graphics and other areas, and WHAT? NO LAG!!!!
