Rating: Summary: Wonderful game but its buggy problems are just too much Review: This game had the potential to over take the king of action rpgs, Diablo, but it fell flat on its face. The graphics, characters (especially Seraphim and Vampiress), and game world are all terrific and a joy to play and behold... when the game doesnt lock you up or crash. Sacred was obviously rushed out the door before it was ready and it really shows. There are so many bugs, crashes, and game breaking glitches that it borders on ridiculous. If you buy this game make sure you download patch 1.6. And the next patch, 1.7, is due out in TWO MONTHS. The developers stated that the next patch will be out in June. Now if that doesnt tell you that the game needs a lot of fixing then i dont know what will...
Rating: Summary: Beware... Good game... poorly made Review: This game has a lot of potential, but shouldn't have been released yet. Be especially cautious if your computer is near the "minimum specifications". My computer is at the low end, and I can't even play half the time. I freeze (requiring CTRL-ALT-DEL) 3 or 4 times before I can actually log on. When I finally get logged on, the game will kick me off the server with no warning at random (every 3rd or 4th game). There are countless bugs, mis-spellings, and problems. I foresee an endless series of patches for online play. If you can stand the hassle... go for it. But don't say I didn't warn you!

Rating: Summary: Diablo+bugs Review: This game has so many flaws its pathetic. Complete a quest, and it wont know it. Buy a horse and it vanishes. Take a portal, and all quests are erased. Crashes frequently as well. But, it is a copy of Diablo 2. And it ends the same as Diablo 2(without the expansion)if you know what I mean. Another reason not to buy it. Wait for the expansion and buy the complete game so you can beat it. by then maybe Encore will have enough patches for all the bugs. Oh, and you cant multiplayer via LAN unless you have a HUB or router. More money I didnt have to spend when playing diablo. Help BLIZZARD save me from these idiots.
Rating: Summary: VERY ADDICTING! [My wife hates it] Review: This game is alot of fun! I start playing it and I can't stop. There are so many things that you can do and with different characters. I start playing it and the day is gone in no time [that's why my wife hates it]. Very good graphics. This is my favorite RPG. I can't wait 'til Sacred Underground is available!
Make sure you download Sacred Plus from the game site. It offers some improvments and extra missions and characters.
Rating: Summary: Diablo 2 Successor Review: This game makes Diablo 2 look like Nintendo. The graphics are beautiful. I spent 50 hours exploring the world, doing side quests and working on the main quest and only uncovered 25% of the world. The game has a tool that tells you how long you've been playing and how much of the world you've discovered. There's lots of humorous things to find, like "Jason's" hockey mask, the Harry Potter "soccer" field (what was that called?). Some of the gravestones you uncover have the developer's names or some great one liners written on them. The monsters range from goblin's (which speak german in the UK version, sounds hilarious too) to huge fire breathing Dragons. Something to note, the US version released by Encore doesn't have "gore turned up. It's a pretty minor difference which you can readily test the difference in with the downloadable demo. But even so, I ordered the UK version. I played through the bronze level (same as easy) without any bug problems. Most of the bugs I've seen reported are related to Multiplayer (online). In single player there were some quest related bugs, but you could easily get around them by quick-saving your game before taking on each new quest. If it's bugged, quick-reload and move on to something else. Don't let the bugs deter you from what could be the unthrowning of Diablo. Many games have bugs at release, remember all those Diablo patches. Anyway, the developers have already put out 2 patches since release, which is quite impressive. And the bugs didn't really affect me anyway.
Rating: Summary: Better off saving your money Review: This game would have been good if it came out four years ago, but now it just looks dated. Also, the game is plagued with bugs. I recommend holding out for the price to drop significantly and the bugs to get fixed before picking up this dud.
Rating: Summary: Great graphics, fun game Review: Very good engine - didn't run into the quirks other reviewers have seen - Encore has been active in bug fixes, maybe that's the reason. Enjoyable graphics, interesting quests, reasonably non-linear world to explore with several non-main quests hidden throughout. Easy interface to master and use. Needs more variety in monsters - the same basic types keep coming up, and there seem to be random hordes of monsters incessantly wandering the countryside. Would prefer fewer but more interesting monsters. Documentation is OK, not great. Took a while to figure out several items, although the interface is pretty easy. E.g. nowhere does it describe differences at the beginning of "Bronze" vs. "Silver" selection - that seems to be a difficulty level selection, but it doesn't say so anywhere. Ending is a let-down. All of a sudden you're done. Doesn't let you back into the world to finish other non-main quests, which would be nice. Look forward to replaying the game as a different character. Magic seems to be challenged, but I'll give it a try. The game writers seem very dedicated to improving the game.
