Summary: Go Go Go!!!
Review: ........ I know a lot of Marines in my command play this mod because that's all they talk about during breaks. It's realistic, uses real life weapons, and you're able to play against and with other players from all over the world. There's sometimes a lag for players with high connectivity ping but that's remedied by selecting a closer server. I use "allseeingeye" to connect. It's friendly for the OS and is a lot more stable than gamespy.

Review: This game is bad [cool]. It tight when you are on the internet playing people from different countries. These graphics are so tight even without a good video card. This game can keep anyone up all night. Trust me, if it worked for me, it can work for you. This is by far the most exciting and most " Off your chair" Half-Life game made yet. Im hoping the next time you make a PC game purchase, you will choose Counter-Strike. My screen name on Half-Life is bigN. C-ya playing!!

Summary: Amzing gameplay!
Review: Counter-Strike offers realistic, strategy gaming where if you dont think your out! The weapons range from smoke grenades to sniper rifles. The 1st time a I shot someone I jumped around my room for some minutes (as killing someone is not as easy as Half-Life but twice the fun!) This game is a must for Half-Life fans & I strongly recommend purchase!

Review: First of all, dont get me wrong this is one of the best mod/games ever. But the mods included on the game can all be downloaded free from the internet. So what do you want to sacrifice? 30 smackers or some time downloading online?

Review: I recently bought this game and i play it when ever i can! The graphics aren't the best quality u can get on a game, but it will do just fine. You cant play single player modes which is a disapointment! But over-all I think this game is really awsome!

Summary: BEST GAME EVER
Review: I am writing this because this is the best game that was ever created and will remain one of the best for years to come. You probably wouldn't understand it unless you've played the game, but simply put it combines awesome maps, and a great weapons selection. It also includes an element of teamwork that works to win most of the time, although it is also very possible to do a lot of damage to the other team all by yourself. I've played pretty much every major FPS game on the market right now, and I think I should just stop, because I always come back to this game. It rocks, buy it.

Summary: Horribly addicting...
Review: I bought this game several months ago in the hopes that I would find an alternative to my previous favorite game, Rogue Spear. Months later, I have yet to even look at my Rogue Spear. In fact, I can't even fathom going back to it; in comparison to counter-strike, RS seems painfully slow and tedious. CS is now the game I play the most (almost exclusively). But before you get it, here are some helpful facts to know: First of all, it's (almost) a purely multiplayer game, so you'll need a decent internet connection (preferably a DSL or cable modem or better....some people DO use modems, but there are several servers out there which ban people with high pings (i.e., slow connections) since it slows the whole game down. You can also play over a LAN (which my friends and I do frequently). Note: I said that this is "almost" a purely multi-player game because there are now "bot" programs you can download for free which allow you to play against as many computer opponents as you want (you can also have computer bots on your side PLUS you set the skill level for all bots). I recommend podbot2. Do a search w/ a search engine and you won't have a problem finding it. Secondly, online gaming can be a trying experience. There is an ever-increasing incidence of cheating (i.e., people using "hacks" that allow them to never miss, or see through walls, or be invisible, etc.). They are difficult to spot, and I've tried to avoid this by downloading a popular anti-cheat program called "Punkbuster" (again, free download off the punkbuster website) and installing it. It won't prevent others from cheating, but it'll allow you to play on "punkbuster-only" servers that require players to have the program installed. Thirdly, I highly recommend that you buy a NEW version of counter-strike. When I bought this game, I had my friends install it on their computers (you don't need the CD to play), but apparently you are limited as to how many people can use your CD key (each CD has a unique CD key). So when four of us tried to play, at least one person was unable to connect (I'm not sure this was the very reason, but all four of us got our own copies and never encountered this problem again). And if you buy a USED counter-strike disc, there's a chance that there are plenty of prior owners out there, using your key. Just FYI.

Review: This game is simply the best game ever, period. If u call yourself a pc gamer, and you dont have counter-strike, then you need to get it. Most fun i've ever had on a computer game.

Review: Man this game is awsome! I play it every chance I get to. Although you can download it for free you gotta get half-life. In this game you have to rush. If you camp you'll have a chain reaction in your pants when a bigass AK bullet hits you in the head. Yopu have no idea where anyone is or what they're doing. No, you can't save and then start over. If your dead your dead. On some servers your screen even go's black like you're realy dead on till T or CT wins. If you don't want to want to buy it and just download it just go to download.com and type in counter-strike. But you gotta have Half-life. Half-Life is an awsome game to. You'll shit your pants the first time you play. You think your all safe but when you turn around there are a bunch of marines and big ass aliens (XEN). When servers are full I play Half-Life. I have finished it 6 times and I'm allmost done with it for th seventh time. It never gfets bored.
