Review: the game is awesome. having it all on a single dvd is even better... i've been wanting the games to be on dvd for a while now. having to install 3+ CD's is a pain.distribution medium aside, the game itself is awesome. definatly a rock solid game that will pass the test of time. they werent kidding when they said they've worked hard optimizing the network code either. this is the first game in quite some time that i could actually play on my 52.8kbps connection without stinking the place up.

There was a "Special Edition DVD" in tin box with Logitech headset,and editor tutorials for around $100
On april 13th, a "special" DVD Edition (not to be confused with "Special Edition") was released with the tutorials for $39. No tin box. No headset Atari marketing may have dropped the ball on that one - but it is still an awesome 5 Star game.(...)

Review: this game rocks. definitely back into UT because of it. and for those who paid more than $50 CAN for the special edition, i feel sorry for you. i managed to pick up the game in the special edition for $49.99 + tax at futureshop the day it hit the shelves. well worth the videos, headphones let alone the game itself! get the dvd edition folks, nice not to have to put in multiple CDs and the tutes are sweet.

Summary: Disappearing game!!
Review: This game was originally sold on gamestop.com and ebgames.com for $39.99, but they have sold all of their limited number of special dvd editions. Now that it is impossible to buy it online, people have been jacking up the price everywhere, especially on amazon, where it is selling for $115.00. On eBay it is selling for around $70-$80. The only place that you can still buy them is at best buy, which is amazing that a new release is on sale for $29.99. It is COMPLETELY sold out online, and most stores are out too, so if you REALLY want one, you better hurry and check your nearby Best Buy's everyday, becasue they will receive another shipment sometime next week.
I myself havent bought this game yet, even though i really want to!! I played the demo and the improved weapons and vehicles, as well as the improved physics system, all make it definitely worth the money.

Summary: Great game for UT fans
Review: This is a great game whether you have played the games from the beginning of the series, or just started on this one. The game itself is awesome, only one disk, since it is on a DVD plus the bonus disk with a bunch of extras. The game is better than 2003, but only in that the graphics are tweaked, more maps, the addition of vehicles for use, extra multiplayer game types, more characters, and voice recognition. The only drawback is that the weapons are pretty much the same as last years'. But for the fans of the game, the A.I. is actually tougher this go round. I beat the 2003 version in a few hours, this one is more of a challenge. The biggest thing in this package versus the other one with the 4 CD's instead of the DVD, is the Logitech Headset. With this thing you can control your computer controled or human teammates by speaking to them in game, or just use it to chat on the web. Whatever floats your boat. Only reason I give this 4 stars instead of 5, is like I said they really didn't add to the weapons enough, but well worth buying. I mean come on if you own the 2003 version they give you a $10 rebate for upgrading.
