Summary: best game ever--period
Review: I've been a semi-serious computer gamer for over ten years now. I was addicted to the original Simcity, then, a few years later, Duke Nukem 3D, and then WarCraft II, which showed me just how much fun a computer game can be. I've played dozens of others (Half-Life, Civ II, Alpha Centauri, Heroes of M & M II and III, Diablo, and on and on), but none of them are quite as refined as StarCraft. I am convinced that it is the best computer game of all time, but I admit that I've taken a special liking to strategy games. StarCraft can be fairly difficult--if you don't hurry and get ready before the enemy arrives you will get your butt kicked good--but it's not so difficult that you can't win. (The same thing cannot be said for all the campaigns in the excellent add-on, Brood War.)In a nutshell, StarCraft has a tremendous interface (beginners can just sit right down and start playing), a much better than average storyline, rich characterization, beautiful graphics, an intelligent AI, and loads of the loving detail that Blizzard is becoming well known for. If WarCraft III can top this, I might quit my job, give up sleep, and give my life fully over to the Blizzard co.

Review: This game is the best thing for computer EVER! There areendless games and strategies, a cool editor where you can create yourown playing fields, and the online gameplay is JUST TOO GOOD!

Summary: Command & Conquer
Review: If you like Command & Conquer then you'll love this futuristic version of it, except that Starcraft is a lot more in depth. Exceptional graphics, audio, and gameplay. This game is totally on the other side of the house with the likes of Q3A and Unreal Tournament. Not really fast paced as UT but more thinking is definitely involved. This game is pure stategic warfare! If you don't like chess and don't know what C&C is, then you're looking in the wrong game category.

Summary: It is true! This game is KING!
Review: This game is excellent. There is so much strategy involved. It is worthy of being compared to chess...only better. You must think, strategize, and be very good at multitasking. I'm 32 and I've been playing this game for a year and there is no end in site. Online gaming is excellent, and Battle.net is setup very well. The game, simply said, is perfect, and it is incredibly stable to boot! It never crashes like so many other games. Hats off to Blizzard. They are number one!

Review: I will have everyone know that I have bought this game three different times. On each seperate instance I was forced to give it away. This game is more addictive than cigaretes. I would go to sleep at night dreaming of strategies to clear the galaxy of that evil infestation known as the Zerg. For months all I forced my friends to refer to me no longer by my real name but as the Dark Templar, Zeretul. All in all I truly think this game is one of the most important additions to the comuper world since the Internet.

Summary: For those who want to research before they buy
Review: Starcraft has wonderful graphics and is always interesting. Although the primary missions are frustrating to inexpierienced strategy players, custom scenarios etc. can build up your skill. I have never seen a game with a better custom scenario and multiplyer system. For all those age of empires fans out there who hate the "population" limit, BEWARE! Starcraft has one as well. The expansion is also a great addition to this game. If you like a game where you can stop and think like in turn based games- watch out again. If you like fast paced action that actually includes a bit of strategy- this is the right game for you. The beauty of this game compared to Blizzard's earlier titles (Warcraft I & II) is that each team has different weaknesses than the next, so, for instance, the zerg can build billions of units in a few minutes, while the protoss are still dawdling along with a few nearly invincible units. Starcraft comes with the ULTIMATE map editor- so that you can create your own campaign custom scenarios etc. Although the triggers take more than a little getting used to, once you've mastered them, your missions can be as good as the campaigns that come with the game (especially if you download the graphics editor) Hope I was of assistance.

Review: Starcraft is by far the most incredible computer game I've ever played. Im hooked. Single player is fun but multiplayer is incredible. There are so many different ways to play starcraft online, including: melee, team melee, ladder, Use Map Settings, 1 on 1, free for All. You can also try and improve your record, or try to be ranked first in the ladder rankings. Become a starcraft expert and buy this game right away.

Review: If you have ever played a strategic game such as Command and Conquer, and you liked that at all then check out Starcraft. It is by far the greatest game on the market to date. Not only does it have a great Single Player setup that allows you to play all 3 different races(Zerg, Protoss, and Terran) in over 10 scenarios each, but its multiplayer is twice as fun. Logging on Battle.net to play adds a great new way to play, with an average of 50,000 users online during the afternoon and weekends you can always find someone to play with and if you dont feel like playing just that second it is a great place to chat with people. And as soon as you beat this game (unless u play 12 hours a day or cheat it will take you over a week for sure to beat). Then you can go out and buy Broodwar the expansion pack with more units and even more single player campaigns. And one more thing Starcraft offers is a map builder that allows you to create your own worlds to play in. If you dont have it already then go get it... you wont regret it.
