Summary: worst performing game i ever had
Review: before i tell you why, i was going to give this 0 stars, but they only go 1-5. this game is very terrible. first of all, have all the original sonic games for the genesis from 1991-1996. i know what they are like, and this is a piece of garbage compared to the original. heres a few reasons why you shouldn't get this:(referring to sonic & knuckles collection only) 1: its better classic- meaning its better on the old system and all these keys i have to remember is hard and time consuming 2: it performs terrible- the sound is muffled, things are uneven, nothing like the original 3: **no support from expert software (creators of the game)- yup, their experts alright 4: get windows Y2K or lower, xp aint ready- xp users are gonna have a bad time trying to play on it 5: it is way too fast, trust me- you have three seconds at the main menu to pick something before it goes into demo mode. heres the worst part: when youre playing a game, you run so fast, so quick, that when you lose rings, you wont have time to get em back, plus that is hazardous as you may lose at the game (referring to general package) 6: who wants all those games on 15 different cds?!?? ive said what i think you should know about the game. originally, this page was going to be filled with cursing words, so you can tell, this is garbage DO NOT BUY IT, YOU ARE GETTING ..., NO SUPPORT, NO FUN, NO VALUE.

Review: I have played all of those games on my console and they are terrific!! but I havn't played them on my PC yet but I'm sure there just as good! if your looking for a fast paced action game then these Sonic games are just for You!!

Summary: What a Game!!!
Review: I really enjoyed playing these really cool sonic games, there the best. I bought the sonic's action pack and played all the three games- sonic3 and knuckles, sonic R, and also sonic cd. And I have to tell you if you're really a sonic fan or just trying to look for great game you'll like to play these really exciting sonic games. The graphics are good everything is good. Just think of it 2 of these 3 games are multiplayer games which means you can play with other people online.

Summary: A Great Game Pack Choice!
Review: I really enjoyed the Sonic Action Pack, and I beleive old and new fans will also. There was a awesome 3D racing game, Sonic R, for those who love things like N64. There was a cool 3-games-in-one game, Sonic and Nuckles Collection, for those who want some good fun. There was also a nice game, Sonic CD, for those who always liked the old Sonic games. The music in the Sonic Action Pack was great, and 2-out-of-3 of the games were multi-player. In all, I think this would be a great game Pack for any gamer who wants to have fun.

Review: sonic action pac is a collection of some of the best games ever made.some of the best action/advencer games ever. with sonic racing u can do what sonic dose best run like crazy and fast or pick other sonic carictors like my favorite tails a little orange two tailed fox who can fly!! and have a time traveling advencer in sonic cd.and lots of the classic sega genisis games like sonic 2.belive me this game never gets bouring and is worth every pennie.

Summary: Overall Fun
Review: The Sonic and Knuckles Collection and Sonic CD are really good themselves, although I did have some trouble with the keyboard controls. My suggestion--I've found these two games work really well with a joystick. Sonic R is a really good 3-D racing game featuring Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, Amy, and five other unlockable characters, all with special abilities. There's even a secret level you can unlock. As far as the other games go, I preferred Sonic CD over the Collection because it's a lot easier to control and moves slowly enough so you can actually see what Sonic is doing. All in all, however, this is a good buy.

Summary: Great...But it Doesn't Work
Review: There's a review here that mentions problems with running this with XP. He's right. I've wracked by brain trying to get them to run properly, but they just won't work no matter what I do. Worst of all, Activision's site HAS NO PATCHES for any of these games. Conversely, GameSpy doesn't have patches for these games either, which means they probably can't be downloaded. In other words, if you install a game and it doesn't work, you're stuck with a hedgehog-bearing frisbee. Now I haven't actually gotten to play these games (although I did get to Sonic 3 and Knuckles' title screen, which was moving so fast that it's unplayable) but I've played through all of them. They're excellent games, but that's not even worth mentioning if none of them work. So unless you're running Windows ME/98 or earlier, or you know something I don't, you're out of luck here. If you're thinking these games would look great on a computer with a GeForce 4 or whatever, you're wrong. They don't look any different from their original versions. But it'd be cool if they had openGL support. Mmmm...
