Summary: Destined to be a Classic
Review: This Westwood Studio game is truly astounding. Wage war against real countries around the world, with devastating super weapons, such as Nuclear Missles, Iron Curtain, Tesla Coils, and Prism Towers. Infantry men transform into machine gun nests, surrounded by sandbags, and rienforcements arrive every minute.
Overall, this game is destined to be a classic.

Summary: Great game that delivered where it needed to deliver
Review: First off, this is the second review I've written for this game...I guess Amazon deleted all the reviews or something. Oh well, on to the review!

Many people were turned off to the CC series with Tiberian Sun. "It was too slow, too boring!" they said. Fear not, for RA2 brings the fun back to this legendary series.

At first glance, the game units and graphics almost look like they were taken straight out of a cartoon compared to past CC games. But you'll soon come to appriciate the graphics and the visuals. The units are fairly large; no more losing units in the background. Both the Soviets and the Allies have some impressive new units and some good ole' renditions from the old RA game. The Tesla Coil is back, and now, the Tesla trooper is a mainstay. The allies have some beefed up troops, who can deploy into stationary gunners that can be the bane of advancing Soviet troops. And let's not forget Professor Einstein and all his wonderful creations that he's going to cook up for the allies. Yes, the Soviets are not as technically advanced, but you'll love the brute force that they possess. You'll know no horror like when you're playing the allies and you suddenly see 10 Zepplins heading straight for your base. Ouch time.

The cinimatics are better than most game movies, but they are fairly cheesy in some points (like the end movie for the allies). We finally get to see a living and breathing Eva and Tanya, and they're not to be taken lightly. And, they look good too (well, do you really think that EA and Westwood would choose Rosanne Barr to play Tanya?!?!).

Overall, this is a very good game that could have been made a little better by having a few more single player missions. The game pace is frantic, fun, fast-paced, and exciting. You'll never be bored while playing this. It is a must-own for all strategy fans, and most computer game fans the world over.

Summary: Command & Conquer Red Alert 2 Expansion: Yuri's Revenge
Review: A must have for all, from serious gammers to casual players. The graphics are supurb. The game makers really outdid themselves. I am relatively new to C&C, but in no time I have becom hooked!! I just recently got my 13 year old sister addicted as well. See you all online !!

Summary: Oh, good lord!
Review: I wish i could give it less than 1 star, but thats the lowest that amazon.com will let me go. Don't listen to the oher reviews here, trust me. (...) If you're going to spend time playing a strategy game, at least do yourself a favor and play something GOOD (...)

Summary: Add-on to the Best Game!
Review: This is one of the better add-ons I have played. I would get this if you own Red Alert 2, like Rts games, and or like military games. It's very well put together and is always fun. The one thing that gets me is the loading times, they take forever! I still play it and enjoy it, but still. If you are a Red Alert nut get this asap. It's great!

Summary: Best One Yet
Review: Yuri's Revenge is one of the best expansion pack I've ever purchased. On Red Alert 2, the original game, I play multiplayer a lot. With Yuri's Revenge, multiplayer is a ton more exciting. There are new units asnd structures you can use defeat other players. If you're not able to beat the co-op missoins you can go on-line and download trainers. Overall I think this game is the game to buy.

Summary: This sounds like a really good game
Review: From what I've read, this game sounds similar to Battlezone2. You go around in whatever veichal and blow stuff up while at the same time commanding your army. Battlezone2 is one of the best games ever(...) so if this game is anything like BZ2, I'd glady pay 3 times the price they list.

Summary: Less RA2 more TIberian Sun
Review: I just bought the game a few days ago and I enjoy having new missions and what not. The major issue i have with this expansion is that it reminds me of the infamous Tiberian Sun. C&C games are always good when Westwood does not go over board with such exotic technology such as the Yuri "disk" which look like flying saucers. RA2 is an excellent game...but if you didnt like Tiberian Sun then you may want to reconsider purchasing Yuri's Revenge.

Summary: Too many problems!!!
Review: The actual game is ok, but it not worth the wait to play the game. Just to get to the main menu takes over 10 minutes, and then each mission takes anywhere from 5-20 minutes to load. Plus when you finally get to play, you are constantly kicked out the game to due "irregular internal errors." I know it's not my computer because I'm not the only one with these problems, and my computer exceeds all the requirments, and plays all other games great.
Westwoods website blames the problems on a cd burner or other cd drive. I followed all their suggestions to remedy the many problems, and the game does not work any better.

This game is just a waste of money, since all it will do is sit and load for 20 minutes and then get an error or lock up.

Summary: The game that Command & Conquer 2 should have been.
Review: Red Alert has always paved the way for technology (on the game engine side), with the original Red Alert making the leap into SVGA. Red Alert 2 features a truely enhanced 2D engine with huge structures.

You finally get to fight on US soil (none of the previous C&C engines could have done this justice like the Red Alert 2 engine does). Gameplay is more back to basic, User Interface has been revamped for the first time in the series.

This doesn't feel like a sequel. If you've ever enjoyed C&C, buy this now.
