Summary: Best game Ever
Review: I just bought this game and it is fantastic. The great gameplay makes up for the slightly narrow unit range. About that person who wrote the other review that said that the game was bad, I think that he has a slow computer and doesn't like the fact that playing the game takes him for ever.

Summary: AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: Oh my gosh! This game is so cool. I just got it a few days ago and could not be more pleased. The graphics are incredible as well as the sound effects. I would like to stop the rumors that you need a relly fast computer to play. I have an 800 Mhz CPU with 256 MB of RAM and the game runs almost flawlessly. You do need to have a graphics card supporting DirectX 8.1 or higher though. I was a little skeptical about the changes in play from older versions, but they don't make it any less fun. This is a great buy for all players of strategy games.

Summary: I agree with the top dude
Review: I have played all the RTS games but warcraft, and i found that this game requires an amount of interest to be put into it.
Like all RTS games there is unlimited amount of ways the game can end up. this is a game id recomend to all poeple i know.

Summary: really good
Review: this game is really off the hook. i recommend everyone to get this game. all the people who think this game is not that good is wrong. cuts come on, but does it do much damage to your pc. no it doesn't. its about the game and how the game is play. this game is tight if you play online!! blow up each other, head shot with a sniper, sniper games, and much more you can't believe it!... i'm just saying, get the game before it runs out. More than 8,000 players play renegade and i aen't lieing to ya'll. get the game and see how good you are as a soldiers cuz you keep going and training your self all the time, each day non stop!...
GET THE GAME!...

Summary: great game after all.
Review: I think most of the reviews above don't do justice to this game. First of all it is in the tradition of C&C and as a C&C fan I can surly say it is as enjoyable as the previous games.
The graphics are excellent and more thought for details has been put here.
The three armies are versatile and unique and you will find many interesting feature for each. The concept of the generals themselves is clever, since you choose which way you want to develop your skills, thus each game differs in tactic and flow.
All the needed quick keys are there and more - this time you can place cameras in various areas on the map and jump to that area with a single click.
There are air combats, terrorists, and more and the various units allow you to create great situations and tactic moves.
The topography has an important role and if used wisely the game becomes even more interesting.
many bugs from the previous game were fixed (like flying units no longer need to "climb" cliffs, but rather fly over them like they should), but I must say that the path-finding is still a bit lousy :-)
The most important thing is the multiplayer games which make any C&C to a top game (campaign are just to get you into the atmosphere, but it is not the main thing in these kind of games).
GOOD GAME! buy it.

Summary: EA [messed] this one up
Review: I'm a big fan of Real Time Strategy games. I've played all the C&C games, Warcraft games, even the turn based strategy games.

Command & Conquer games where great for a number of reasons:
1. Really good techno/industrial sound track
2. Really good back story (caine or Tania etc)
3. Awsome cut scenes (either 3d or live action using good actors)
4. Intuitive interface
5. Beautiful graphics
6. Excellent game play.

With Generals, there is a poor sound track. A very weak back story, [poor] game engine style cut scenes, clunky interface and the game play is poor. The graphics are nice, but they look like a copy of Warcraft III.

While it isn't the worst game I've bought (that would be MOO 3), I still wouldn't recomend it.

Summary: What Are You Talking About!!
Review: Command and Conquer games are the best games ever, the people that wrote bad rewiews don't Understand the game. You Do Click And Build and Attack BUT you have to use stratagey and know how to make a good base and playing online is another thing to do after beating the game or get tired of playing the computer, online the people have diffrent stratagey and you have to find it out and try to beat them.So Dont make the game look bad just because you dont like it or dont know how to play or understand.

Summary: A disappointing addition to the command and conquer family
Review: Fun game for the first week, after that it is unbearable. Besides the infantry running at super slow speeds, China being the superpower, the huge number of glitches, and the selection of three armies you can play as the game is alright. The graphics are great, I mean why shouldnt they be? The game is the biggest system hog I've ever seen. You need a top of he line computer to run the game on the lowest detail. The campains are somewhat fun and the cinematics are pretty cheesy. The game really doesnt rely on your battlefeild tactics, it depends on how many forces you have and what type of forces they are. If your expecting insane battles and imersive levels your in for a big let down. Dont let the box fool you.

Summary: Looks Spectacular But Doesn't Deliver
Review: The game looks and plays very well, but it offers nothing for a story, and only 7 missions per campaign? I was expecting the same quality that the earlier C&C games had. I just hope the expansion has more to it...

Review: it was ok. I love stargety games. Starcraft has to be the best game ever made. But with this i was a little disapointed. For some reason it runs extremly slow on my amd 1.3. The graphics are good and the game is extremly realistic (something that ra2 was complelty missing). I feel that the graphis bog down the gameplay. I want graphics in something like splinter cell, not a stragety game. The units move painstaklenly slow. One thing that i found good was the unit abilities. The units are no longer attack or move, they have special abilities. Over all if your a hardcore stargety gamer that owns them all get this. If your not please buy a clasic like starcraft, warcraft or one of the RA games.
