Summary: Great for those of us with Win XP
Review: I used to own the Sims and 3 expansion packs. When I upgraded to Windows XP, The Sims would not work right. I ended up selling all of them. I am happy that they have come out with a version that is compatible with XP and will be going out to buy it on the 17th.I can understand the frustration of those that are upset that this is a better version. But, it is not fair to give the game low reviews, because of this.

Summary: Why buy it?
Review: Everybody already purchased the whole set and it ain't a SimChest that has a 6-CD book. So why buy it? Save your money and get The Sims Online which has more fun which also includes a multi-chat interface to thousands of dudes around the world.

Summary: A Great addition to the Sims Family.
Review: The Sims Deluxe is going to be great! The best part about it is that you will be able to add the expansion packs onto it. It has loads of new stuff and all you have to do is uninstall the original sims and when The Sims Deluxe comes out, install it on the computer and then reinstall the expansion packs. Im really impressed with everything that Maxis has been creating and planning for the past few months and really looking forward to this new release.

Summary: TOTALLY unfair
Review: I think Maxis was being VERY unfair to their loyal customers who have bought all their products. They should have made a game like this when they first developed the sims. I will be sure to NOT ENCOURAGE people to buy this expansion pack. If I could, I would rate this expansion pack zero stars. >:(

Review: I jut knew this was going to happen! There's a huge craze and everyone buys it, then they come out with a better version. Might as well say "No one buy this it will come out again better!" It's a total rip! : -(

Review: I don't think it's fair that the gamers who have been loyal to teh sims and already have all of the expansion packs are getting left out, while the brand new gamers get a special edition including cool new stuff. Very uncool.

Review: This is an awsome game. It is the first version of the sims including the first epansion pack, livin large, and some new items. It also includes a program that lets you make your own skins easily. It is one of the best things maxis has ever come up with.

Review: when i first got this game i couldnt fall asleep even tho my parents made me go 2 sleep.
i would sneek downstairs and play it it 4 hours
if u get this game dont do that i almost got grounded
so from there on i woke up like at 4 in the morning
i sleep alot but i woke up so early 2 play it if u get this game do almost any job u can 2 get it
i had 2 pick up doggy-doo
but i hav every single game
and i anly need a couple more dollars 2 get the sims 2 if u dont get this game u dun noe wut ur missin

Summary: Horrible!
Review: This game was the most boring game I have ever played! All you do is watch little people sit around and grow hungry and have to go to the bathroom. Thats it. After ten minutes of playing this game I almost fell asleep in my chair. Do not buy this game!

Summary: Was expecting much more
Review: After all the hype about "The Sims" I was expecting a lot more from this game. The interaction choices are extremely limited and these silly people don't even take time off on the weekends! So they have very little leisure time in which to develop relationships with neighbors and co-habitants. This is the most rediculous simulation game I have seen to date.
