Summary: GOOD SIM GAME IF YOU LIKE DESIGNING & MANAGING
Review: In this game you design the interior of your hotel and run it. My sister had origionally purchased this game, but was diasappointed when she saw that you couldn't design the outside of your hotel, so I played it, and liked it. This game is not GREAT, though, like Blitzkrieg (awesome game). It is kind of akward, because the items you can place in your hotel are all different sizes, and the things you really need to put in your rooms, like baggage tables etc., are very small. This makes your hotel look weird, almost too big. The items also don't match sometimes, but you get over it. This game can be very time consuming but enjoyable. The graphics, in my opinion, are better than the Sims, and the objects are very realistic. I would only buy this game if you want to spend a lot of time designing your hotel, and not that much running it. Overall, 4 stars. Or, out of ten, 7.4
Hope this review helped!

Summary: A weak Sims copy cat
Review: Maximum Capacity is a hotel simulation game similar to the popular PC game The Sims. You are able to control the basic layout of the building, including what types of rooms are located where and what type of furniture is in the room. You can also review market data and advertise your hotel.

The graphics of the game are actually better than The Sims. Many of the objects look very life-like if you look at them closely. Yet, the objects available are very limited. The characters also display more emotions then The Sims do.

The playability of the game is nowhere near that of The Sims. The characters are very drone-like. I found the game to get boring watching the guests do their daily routines. To JoWood's credit, this is an economic simulation game not a personality one like The Sims.

The game is not very entertaining at all. Most of the time you are staring at facts and figures trying to increase your profit. For me this got old very quickly. It turns into a complex puzzle rather than an entertaining game.

If you like marketing this would be a good game for you. If you are looking for personal interactions, I would pass on this game.

Summary: Sigh... yawn... sigh
Review: Sims gone WAY too slow, without the control of the sims. I do love simulation games, but this has got to be the slowest sim game to start. You will spend a lot of time building rooms, mostly while paused. I would spend 4 hours on layout, realise I've spent so much time on it and never get around to playing much after opening the hotel.
Now, if you like building hotel rooms, boy is this the game for you. Having not played the 20 or so hours it takes to finish even one scenerio, I can't comment on how easy or hard it is to complete a level... really, I'd just lose interest after hour 12 of gameplay.
This is definately a game for someone that has absolutely NO life outside of sim gaming.
Graphically, I liked it. You get so many options for walls, floors, lighting, layout, ammenities and pricing it's a wonder that I disliked it so much. :(

Summary: Hard to start, not bad when you get it started though
Review: The game has difficulty starting. Judging by their tech support website it's a common problem that was never adequately fixed. Some people were never able to get the game running. There is a patch you can install to help that. I manage to get the game running in 1-2 out of every 10 attempts now since installing the patch.

The game itself is pretty enjoyable though. It gets a little tedious and while you can decorate different types of rooms, the objects are very limited. There are a variety of scenarios with differerent objectives that are fun to try out.

Summary: It Could Be Worth Your Money, But It's Not.
Review: This game has the potential to be good but it falls short in so many ways. I wish I would have read more reviews before I purchased it. Even reading the box cover had me convinced I was getting a great game but I was fooled because I had way too many problems while playing.
1. It takes too long to load up.
2. The more stuff you add to your hotel the slower the game plays.
3. Then it freezes up the computer for no reason.
4. You have to save every five minutes so you don't lose your progress.
5. Sometimes the game just reboots on its own.
6. Too much time is spent bulding the hotel, than is spent trying to manage it.
7. This is what I hated most. You have to pass all of the game tutorials before you get access to all objects needed to be the best Hotel Manager.
My advise is this, if you want this game then buy it used. Don't waste your money.

Summary: Great Tycoon Game!
Review: This game is awesome, you can build your own hotels of any sort (B&B, Resort, Urban, Suburban, etc.) to your special needs. You can make any type of hotel ammenity you can think of from pools, to computer rooms. The best part is you can spy on your guests, find out their needs and compliaints, and fulfill them to your own desire. This is definitely like the Sims in many ways, but different too. You will not get bored with this game, it constantly keeps you occupied with new challenges. A recommended game to all consumers, young and old.

Summary: It's Bad
Review: This game stinks. I thought with all the good reviews that it would be good but it wasn't. When I first started playing it I thoght it was really cool but it got boring really quick. It is to hard to get people in your facilitys and even if you get people in them they don't make money. Once you do start to make money you try to expand your hotel and you go bankrupt. I WOULD NOT reccomend any one to buy this product because it is a waste of money.

Summary: DO NOT BUY!!!
Review: This is one of the worst games ever created. I feel ashamed and hurt to have bought this. I spent 40 bucks on a piece of turd. I tried sooo hard to give it away. Noone wanted it. Face the facts. It flat out sucks. There are too little options. The rooms feel akward and dont make sense. The graphics are horrendus and there are very few objects. It almost makes me cry that I spent time playing it. The controls are flat out awful, it took me nearly an hour just to figure out how to place an object. DO NOT BUY!!! DO NOT ACCEPT AS GIFT! DO NOT PLAY! DO NOT LOOK AT!!!!! Trust me... you dont want to play.
