Review: I've played the demo extensively some time back, and it's great. Graphics were terrific a few years ago (it's been stuck in development simply forever), it combines the best of many space genres. It's not a shooter, more of a character/fleet/campaign based game; you design your character, who then goes out and accumulates ships, does jobs/quests, etc.

It used OGL graphics with stunning effect; great space views, fleets of ships sweeping by blasting at each other. It has a lot of potential. The demo was buggy and somewhat limited (quite appropriate for a demo, though). This should definitely be worth a try. I hope it didn't take so long to come out that it has fallen behind what we now expect; it would have been awesome if it had come out when the demo was released years ago!! I've been waiting for this one for years.
