Rating: Summary: Collector's Edition, anyone? Review: This is not a review of Warcraft III, which I think is excellent and would consider giving 5 stars to. This is a review of this specific gift set, which I think is a waste of money. This gift set includes only 2 things that are worth buying - the actual game, and the cinematics DVD, both of which can be found in the Collector's Edition. The collector's edition also includes the exclusive soundtrack CD (worth its weight in gold to any true Warcraft fan), an extremely high quality "Art of Warcraft" book, and a collector's edition manual signed by the development team. The strategy guide is fairly worthless, because the game is not difficult enough to justify use of one, not to mention that there are better sources of strategy online, and Warcraft II is not recommended for anyone, especially since most people who buy Warcraft III already have Warcraft II.
Rating: Summary: Warcraft 3 Review: Wow. This game...is really really good. Warcraft 3 is like the god of computer games. The Campaign is what most are judging it by, but the multiplayer on Bnet....wow. It is great. You have to work together with other teammates (3 others at max) Or playing it at a friends house on LAN ( by the way you only need one disk to do that, you stick it in, go to LAN take it out, put it in the other comp) (LAN=Local Area Network lol just in case) Time ot talk of Bnet. : ) You choose your race (Orc, Human, Night Elf, or Undead) Then you choose your map ( a lot of em) and then you play it. You build buildings with workers and each building has it's own significance. Some build different kinds of troops and other are meant ot use as defense, and some meant to upgrade weapons and armory. But wait!!! there's more! You can build an altar, and make a HERO a ( Orc= Farseer, Tauren Cheiftain, Blade master Night Elf = Demon Hunter, Preistess of the moon, Keeper of the grove Human= Paladin, Archmage, mountain king Undead= Lich, Death Knight, Dreadlord) You choose out of the three heros compatible with your army and each has a total of 4 spells. (you MAY get more than one hero at a time) you choose between 3 spells until your hero reaches lvl 6 and then you may get their ultimate spell. You can get more points on the same spell to upgrade it. I am lonesome and sad these days...for my father snapped my Warcraft 3 disc because of a late project i had to turn in...which i didn't. :'( Rest in Peace my poor warcraft 3 disc. waaaaa Anyways...BUT WC3
