Summary: Good game.
Review: I don't play video games, and this is the first game that I've bought in over a year. With that said, it seems to be a good game. It kept me busy for hours, and for a video game - that's good.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Awesome game, But too many BUGS!!!
Review: This game is awesome, that said, it also has so many bugs you will pull your hair out! I still go back and play it all the time though. Thats how great it is. Once this game is patched.(hopefully for the last time, when i got the game there was a 36MB patch) That tells me that the game was rushed to the selves. If you can get past all the Bugs you will have a great game to play. This is a 5 star game The only problem is they just didnt finish the game. To many BUGS!!!

Summary: Original concepts, great game, some frustration
Review: This is a really excellent, low profile game. Soldiers of Anarchy breaks new ground in the squad based RTS genre with its unique approach to finding resources - that is to say weapons, ammo and other supplies - essentially it all comes from the corpses of your defeated enemies. The setting is in the not-so-distant-future in a new Earth where the human race was almost detroyed by bio-chemical warfare. You are in charge of a small group of people who locked themselves into a bunker to outlast the fallout and now emerge into a world ruled by petty warlords and scarred by the remnants of civilization.

The graphics are gritty and real. The variety of vehicles and weapons in the game are very detailed and researched, and while the learning curve is a little steep to get into the game, soon enough you are in the action - in very challenging scenarios.

My only problems with the game, although I am hopelessly addicted to it and can't stop playing - are pathing, and some camera control issues. Too many times I have issued an order to my troops, say to go around the far side of a building to avoid enemies - thinking this is the most open route which is still out of sight - when one or two of them will decide to run right out of their way past the enemies and promptly get everyone killed. It isn't a fatal flaw to the game but it requires more micro management than should be necessary.

Overall, its a great game with far too little recognition.
