Summary: Stronghold- One of the top RTS games on the market
Review: It's a rare thing when an unknown company comes out and makes an amazing product. Especially when there is such a tough market in the gaming industry these days. With many realtime strategy games on the market, you have to make a good one to come out on top, and that is what Firefly Studios has done with Stronghold. Stronghold is an amazing combination of realistic Castle building and realtime strategy. And unlike most other strategy games, you have to maintain a happy population. Things such as charging taxes upon your population decreases their happiness. Providing them with large rations of food increases their happiness. If their happiness drops below 50%, you start losing your population, sometimes leading to the loss of the game. It takes some skill to maintain a good population, with all the factors involved in this sim. Firefly Studios also did a great job with the combat side of the game. There are many units, including crossbowmen, knights, pikemen, and seige equipment such as trebuchets. You can even design your own maps to play on with the map editor the game contains. There are even famous castles availible for download on the internet. One of them is the Tower of London, and all of the castles are designed the same way as the original castles were. This game is sure to keep you occupied for hours at a time, and it becomes addicting, with the realistic gameplay and the intense battles. Stronghold is sure to make an impact on your view of gaming. And another great thing is it's low cost. Buy it, you won't regret it.

Summary: As good as Age of Empires
Review: Me and my kids are AOE2 fans and love the battles, and this game is a great network gamers addiction. We play for hours on the weekend. Quite different play than AOE, with a bit more detail to the issues of running a kingdom. If you own AOE, than you have to get this game or the Crusader version as well.

Summary: A castle of fun!!!
Review: This game combines many elements that make a great strategy game all in one. It is one of the few interesting castle games out there and should be looked into by anyone, even if you are usually not into games. Build castles, defend your fortress, defeat an enemy lord and keep your people happy in this marvelous piece of work. This game truly does deserve attention and should be respected on the market as it is. If you havent looked into this series yourself, I would reccommend you start soon. Just remember - don't miss out on the fun!!!

Summary: "A stronghold of a game!"
Review: this game is filled with action. you lay seige to youre foes while defending youre own keep. it not just for the war types either you can also play economic missions and simply deal with the problem of youre people being happy. all in all this is and cool game for the young mind.
