Summary: Great Game(for the price)
Review: I've had fun with this game for hours and hours. The gameplay is god. The only 2 bad things is the graphic aren't that great and flood can't wide the city off the face of the earth. It's worth the buy!

Review: If I had a choice between SC 2000 or SC 3000 I'd have to say I'd choose 2000 though its graphics are not as good it's a lot more fun and easier to start. I'll have to admit when I first began playing I was shamelessly addicted. But after two days of playing I had my map completely filled and no more room to build. The game is fun for a short while but gets old real fast. I still highly reccommend this game for a boring tuesday afternoon.

Summary: Control your world--at least, on your monitor!
Review: Like most people, my kids would love to have complete control over their world. Perhaps that explains the enjoyment they get from SimCity, even though the graphics on this version are outdated, and the onscreen movement is slow. While I know part of the appeal for my kids involves the ability to blow up cities with which they are not happy, they do stay with it, learning from the mistakes of the failed cities. Along the way, they are gaining an understanding of the real apsects of city development--power grids, economy, education, controlled growth and government. The terminology involved in basic civics classes is introduced in a way even grade school kids can understand. While placing limits on any video entertainment is a good idea, I don't mind so much when they are playing Sim, saying yes when they ask, "Can we just play a little longer?"

Review: Sim City 2000 is a great game for anyone who wants a challenge and of course a ton of FUN!! In this game you are the mayor and you control the fate of your city. You build the roads, power plant(s), and other special buildings, do the zoning, and let the Sims do the rest. However disasters do happen. So be on the alert! Tornadoes, earthquakes and much more can decimate your city! HERE ARE SOME HELPFUL HINTS AND SECRETS FOR YOU: 1) When building roads make the area within them 6x6. Sims like to be three spaces or less away from roads on all sides of them. 2) When zoning put industrial at least three spaces away from residencial. Hey, would you like living nextdoor to a noisy, smelly, smokey factory? Well I sure wouldn't!! 3) If you don't want disasters to happen to your city, simply click on the "Disasters" bar at the top of the screen and select "No Disasters." 4) Finally, if you want to know the ultimate code then hear this: All you have to do is type in the letters: imacheat

Summary: Great game but not alot of control!
Review: Sim city 2000 is a great game. It shows you the basics of building a city. You have to keep your spending in control wich is very hard to do. I think it's a great game for kids 6 to 10. But an adult would enjoy this game too. Sim city 3000 is better if you looking to buy it for a teenager or adult. in Sim city 2000 it's seems that ounce you get into one bond you never come out of the hole. I realy recomend sim city 3000 more.

Review: Sim City 2000 is good family fun and at the right price! Everyone in our family from age 5 and up play the game and have a great time building and re-building the cities. The game is easy to play and provides hours of fun. If you have ever wanted to play city planner this is the game for you!

Review: This game introduced me at a young age to communial development planning, and money management. This game is, I guess you could say, one to grow with, it takes time and it helps one to learn along the way. I'd also like to add that it helps, especially a younger mind, to experience freedom with their money allowing them to spend it as they choose. If he/she spends it unwisely (go bankrupt) that person will know to become better managers of their money the next time.
