Summary: oh just great, another 5 stars
Review: This game is a good one. I play a lot of computer games, but this one takes the cake. Outstanding options and online play against your friends or someone in a real tournament game. The only thing next is to download tiberian sun gold from a certain ex-producer, and the game is perfect.

Summary: They've outdone themselves again!
Review: As a seasoned veteran of the Command & Conquer series, I have to say that I was very impressed by Westwood's new product. The new concepts were very cool. Such as the deformable terrain, the diagonal layout of the structures, the subterrainean units, and the times of day when battles take place. However, it lacked some concepts of the earlier C&C's. Mine layers, for example, or any special weapons or units which can reveal or replace the shroud. (unrevealed terrain.) and the most notable missing feature, neither side had any form of a navy. the only unit even associated with water is the amphibious APC. However, I think that Westwood did this on purpose. I don't think that they want any one of their products to outshine any of the others. that would hurt sales of other C&C games, and if someone was given Tiberian Sun as a gift or played it on the internet, with the promise that it was the best one in the series, they might be dissapointed, and pass along the bad review to other friends who were potential customers. However, it is dissapointing that they have to scrimp on some qualities to "Balance" their games. It's disheartening. but there are some qualities about the game which stand out. the new briefings, for instance, are much more impressive than any others that I've seen. but I hated the impersonalness. in the other games, Kane, Gen. Sheppard, Stalin, Von Esling, or whoever was giving you your briefing always spoke to you personally, but in Tiberian Sun, you are either Commander Michael McNeil,(GDI) or Commander Anton Slavik,(Nod) the impersonalness gets to you, and is probably the worst feature of the game. There is no sense of promotion, as there was in all the other games, and the factor of controlling the whole world instead of just a continent disconnects the game.you are trying to control one section of the globe and aren't nearly finished taking it over when you are whisked off to another section of the world to fight. It leaves you thinking, "That's It?" when you complete the final mission and the credits start rolling. The game is a jewel, though. Very creative, Very exciting, Very addictive. and Frank Klepacki has outdone himself again with an incredibly futuristic and ambient sound track. A very proud Five Stars.

Summary: Could have been much better.
Review: Although the game is good, strategies are lost in the unbalanced power that units have compared to other units. Games become immensely disappointing from quick kill strategies, where online games could last less than five minutes.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The greatest game i have ever played
Review: Under the Tiberean sun is a great futuristic battle game! The graphics are amazing and the weapons are great but maybe a wee bit to powerful! If I cold Iwold give it 6 stars but to bad! p.s. the emp disables machenery including your own so make sure you are far away from the target before you shoot

Summary: A disappointment after Red Alert
Review: I think Red Alert is one of the greatest games of all times so I was really looking forward to Tiberian Sun. Needless to say, I was disappointed. It's hard to pinpoint why this game isn't as good. As stated in other comments, buy Starcraft or Red Alert if you don't have them and pass this one by.

Summary: Major disappointment
Review: Don't even bother with this game. I love Red Alert, but Tiberian Sun has nothing new or original. Go back to playing starcraft or get the new Age of Empires.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: A review from one of the few who never played a C&C game
Review: Having not played Red Alert or the original, this game underwhelmed me. It certainly isn't as good as Starcraft or even the old Warcraft 2. It is a decent game, but some of the scenarios were poorly designed. All in all the game isn't bad, but there are better games out there to play. If C&C is a franchise you love, this may be the game for you, but my first contact did not impress me.

Summary: A good game but not perfect
Review: C&C Tiberium Sun, is a good game, but what I dislike about this game is it is too futuristic and, infentry or foot soldiers serve no point in this game here is a example I was nod, I had about 20-25 cyborgs, and my whole group of cyborgs were wiped out by 1 disruptor, then my 2 tick tanks were annilated by the disruptor, if you like a game were you have to have infentry stick with the old C&C, I like that alot better

Review: I love the new Command and Conquer:Tiberian Sun. I have the old one, Red Alert and I thought that would always be the best game I had. Boy was I wrong. Tiberian Sun is a lot better and more fun.
