Summary: Star Trek: Armada-Worth the money !!!!!!
Review: I must say I actually love this game !!! Its addictive. You get to use strategy to complete missions. Plus you get to play as the Borg, Klingons, Romulans, and of course the Federation. Has the actors from the TV shows doing voices as well. Put this on your birthday or christmas list. Can't wait for the next one !!!

Summary: Awsome Game
Review: The automatic rating system prdicted I would give Star Trek Armada 4 stars... but they where wrong... I Give it 5 stars. Out of all the Star Trek Games I have Purchased this is definitly the best one I own or will ever own if star trek armada 2 is'nt better:) Because compared to this game every other Star Trek Game is Garbage,Trash, and worthless. All Star Trek Fans would love this game. But, if your not a Star Trek Fans it doesnt matter, because you dont need to know anything about star trek to play it, it's just plain fun! Also if your a Star Craft Fan like me you will enjoy all the same ideas incorperated into it. Another Great thing is that it has an awsome single player campain mode and single player against the comeputer on what map you want, or you can play on line... and what I like best about it is that you can play in any game you want even if you have a 56K modem like me you wont be put in a seperate group:) So if your a Star Trek fan looking for a good Star Trek game, or just looking for a good game to purchase, this definitly is the game you want.

P.S. note: Sadly, I lost te Star Trek Armada CD I purchased in 2000 but im definitly going to buy a new one no question about it.

Summary: Few problems, nothing serious
Review: The few problems that there are, few could be noticed, except by Trekkies. For one thing, you can build Akira, Steamrunner, and Soverign ships, but, where are the Galaxy and Intrepid ships? Most of the Star Trek movies' plots feature time travel prominently, so why repeat that here? And, it bothers me that you have to beat it as the Federation before being allowed acess to any other race. But, overall, this game has good graphics, good sound, good gameplay, and the storyline has continuity. An excellent game, but, if you don't have it already, wait for Armada II. I've heard that the problems mentioned above will probably be fixed.

Summary: A great disapointment from activision
Review: Ive expected moch more from activision: 1) The campaign is very short (star-craft has 10 missions for each race armada has 4). 2) Maybe the units look diferent but thay ate identical in their parameters (like warcraft 1,2,exspension set 1993-1995). 3) The game has still the look from above that is tipical to old games such as red alert 1, dune 2000, red alert tibirian sun and so on. 4) there ere very limited ships to each of the races.

the only good thing of this game is the fact that it is STAR TREK but i'm no sure that this game deserves to carry this great name.

Summary: Amazin!
Review: This game is one of the best out there! I find myself not really happy with most games but this one is an exception. The actual game senario is most challenging with lots of advisaries. The game is something that will keep you hooked for a long time. I enjoy plahying other people online to match your whits. I am simply saying this is one of the best games out there!

Summary: you can't be sirius
Review: There is a magic ruel abaut star trek games - thay all usualy very bad and unfotunnetly this game is no exseption. I'm a big star trek fan and i had hopes for this game becouse it was suposed to be a good RTS game but it is'nt. first of all the it has lot's of anoying bugs it is very slow and it is on the level of warcraft2(1995) in the matter of groups and above all the price is astronomic for a game like this and i would recomend keep distance from this game.

Summary: Fun, very playable strategy game
Review: I wasn't quite sure what to expect for this Star Trek real-time strategy game, but was pleasantly surprised. The game play is enjoyable, both single and multiplayer options and the game mechanics are fairly well developed. I wouldn't but this game on the same level as Blizzard's StarCraft, but it is a worth while to see the Star Trek theme in action. Check it out, you'll be pleased.

Summary: Awesome Game!
Review: I bought Star Trek Armada last year, and I am very impressed! At first I thought the game was very boring, but once I really got into it, it became my favorite game on my PC! The ships are very cool, and the weapons systems are awesome (especially the Borg assimilator weapons). The one-player missions are sort of lame at first, but after you get deeper into the game, they become challenging and difficult. The main goal of the single player missions is to capture, or destroy, the Omega particle. The campaigns fit together very smoothly, and every side is very unique.

The weapons in this game are very cool! Each ship in the game has it's own special weapon, which makes it even more fun! Once you have researched them, they are automatically integrated into your ships. I especially enjoy the Romulan and Klingon superweapons (The Rift Creator and Subspace Shockwave). The phasers sound just like in the show, and the quantum torpedoes are also very cool, not to mention the tricobalt torpedoes!

I also like this game because it makes good use of the space terrain, like nebulas, black holes, and asteroid belts. This game's tactics are based more on your weapons and how or when you should use them, but the space terrain still has a great impact on the game. Star Trek Armada doesn't have all that many ships, about nine per race, but I don't think you need more than the ones that they have, and each ship serves some sort of purpose.

In conclusion, Star Trek Armada is a very good game, and I recommend it to everyone. Have Fun!
