Summary: A Fine and creative addition to an already exciting game !
Review: Dinosaur Digs is a fine addition to this already exciting game. If you already own Zoo Tycoon then you already know how exciting the can be if you really get creative. Dinosaur Digs allows you to be more creative than ever with many new dinosaur additions including the ferocious T-Rex! I will keep this short and sweet. If you are interested in my review, I suggest you check out my review on the original Zoo Tycoon. I recommend this expansion pack to anyone who enjoys Zoo Tycoo as much as I do. Give it a shot I guarantee that it will not disappoint.

Summary: Fun Fun Fun!
Review: Zoo Tycoon is simply in one word FUN! I am a huge fan of sim building types of games but Zoo Tycoon is different. It is a wonderful concept of a game. I mean who doesn't love a good Zoo? I have personally recreated the Audobon Zoo in New Orleans among other custom zoos. This game runs smoothly even on my dad's slow Compaq system and runs absolutely amazing on my machine. I know that it might not be a crazy First Person Shooter game with a ton of gore, but watch out when your tigers escape and munch on your visitors. Quite simply put, this game is fun and will entertain for hour after hour for people of all ages. Trust me, I got my dad and my girlfriends mother to attempt the game and they were both hooked on the game for a couple of months. I readdicted my father with the Dinosaur Digs expansion pack and we still play. I have created one particular zoo that I am extremely proud of that is very glamorous and have possibly sold the idea to a major city in our fine USA. I have to keep that top secret as far as where it is...sorry. Anyway go out and buy the game, give it a shot, you will not be disappointed.

Summary: Zoo Tycoon just got bigger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: Zoo Tycoon: Dinosaur digs is the best game! It's like zoo tycoon, it has the animals and the objects, but you can buy dinosaurs! There are also new objects like the large valcano! Buy your dinosaurs. At first, they are eggs. You will need to higher scientists to look at them. But when they hatch, you'lle have to look over them. The guests will be amazed at all of the dinosaurs you'lle have! Once you start the game, you can never stop! I have almost all of the games in the tycoon series!!! For those of you who don't have one of the tycoon games, you should get this game or zoo tycoon!!!!!!!!!! You really should buy this game!!!!!!!!!!!!

Summary: It's good but not great.
Review: GAMEPLAY 6.5:
Here's how it goes down. You choose the animal(s) you want to create. You choose the walls and make the pen. You put the animal(s) in the pen. Your read the zookeeper's instructions on what the animal(s) want(s) (such as water, trees, and rocks) then you do it. It may sound boring (especially how I put it), and it is, but you can still suck some fun out of it. The annimals can be rather boring (but the same goes for real life). The main thing you really need to do is make the zoo look pretty. This is more of a landscaping sim than a zoo building sim.
GRAPHICS 4.5:
The graphics are rather simple but they aren't terrible. Nothing great here.
SOUND 4.5:
The animals make the same sounds over and over whenever you click em'. It gets annoying fast. The best part of the sound is probably the opening song (which isn't that great).
REPLAY VALUE 4:
After you finish making a zoo with every animal you probably won't touch this game again for a while.

Summary: I'v only played the demo but..
Review: It is fantactic. I have the full version on my wish list. Even though the demo has only 4 animals [you cannot get females on the demo] and not as much other stuff as the full version. It's GRATE, FANTCTIC [I don't know how much words I know how to discribe it so I'll leave it as that]. Thanxz for reading this,

Summary: Splash out on Marine Mania and you won't be disappointed
Review: Zoo Tycoon: Marine Mania is a very cool expansion pack for Zoo Tycoon.

Although it was very good, I actually prefer this to the first expansion pack Dinosaur Digs. There are a lot more new features. You must put your marine animals in tanks instead of exhibits, adjusting the height and choosing the right foliage.

You can hire marine specialists to look after the creatures, which include orca whales, seals, rays, squids, otters, great white sharks and many more - over 20 in total.

There are loads of new shops and attractions to please your guests with.

You can also put on shows with some of the animals. You can choose exactly what the animals do in the shows, in which order, and schedule it as to how often you want the show to happen.

There are several new scenarios for those players who like the challenges.

You also now get the ability to pick up guests and put them wherever you want...including in exhibits and tanks!

I think this is a great expansion pack for Zoo Tycoon. It really makes the original Zoo Tycoon game a lot more interesting and also included Dinosaur Digs, so it'll keep you playing the game for much longer than before!

Summary: A Great Game! Worth every penny!
Review: Hey everyone. I would just like to say that if you are thinking about purchasing a copy of Zoo Tycoon you are right in doing so!
It is most definetly as fun and entertaining as Roller Coaster Tycoon. It also gives you a learning experience with detailed descriptions of each animal; where they live, what they eat...etc. It has wonderfully detailed graphics and sounds.

You start out by picking your zoo and your budget. Then, you make appropriate excibits for the animals by choosing the terrain, foliage, and fence. You must also please the people. Afterall they are the ones who give you more money.

All in all, this game is excelent. It is worth every penny! Great for kids. Great for adults!

Summary: Get Ready! The Second Expansion Is Marine Mania!
Review: As you probably already guessed, Zoo Tycoon: Marine Mania will bring new marine animals to Zoo Tycoon. How can you see underwater? Simple. Unlike the original Zoo Tycoon, the water is clear in the exhibits! This expansion will bring over 20 new aquatic animals to add to the long list of animals already in Zoo Tycoon. Some of the animals are: killer whales, dolphins, giant squids, great whites, and manta rays! Zoo Tycoon: Marine Mania will add TEN new scenarios! There will also be new objects included, like the ring toss. Another highlight is the animal shows. You can set up a show for sea otters, sea lions, killer whales, dolphins, and great whites. You are now able to set up stands and have a show to exhibit your animals. After that, you can set up the show the way YOU want it to be! Move by move, you can make the animals show. One last highlight is you can put original Zoo Tycoon animals in the clear water and watch them swim and play, such as the polar bear, grizzly bear, penguin, Asian elephant, etc. Zoo Tycoon: Marine Mania will be a great game and I'm sure it will be a hit!

Summary: Disappointing Expansion
Review: First of all, I want to say that the 2 star rating is not for the original Zoo Tycoon. That's a 5 star game hands down (though as others have mentioned, I like Roller Coaster Tycoon better). The 2 stars is for my disappointment in Dinosaur Digs. This expansion to Zoo Tycoon is not for everyone.

My first problem with this expansion is a personal preference: rather than a dinosaur expansion to Zoo Tycoon, I would have rather seen something akin to what Livin' Large was to The Sims - more animals! And I don't mean dinosaurs. There are inumberable animals that I would have added to Zoo Tycoon to make it more fun for me - animals that exist - and there is so much more they could have done with it.

That leads into my second problem. They didn't add enough valuable gameplay. They threw in a few more dino scenarios. They threw in, yes, a slew of dinosaurs and likewise scenary and exhibit objects. And they added the expensive scientist, and, in my opinion, the rather useless "dinosaur recovery team". Sure they added a few buttons to hide different things. But what about more water animals - and a tank that lets you put up glass/plastic walls underneath so that guests can view them underwater as many zoos do? What about, in general, adding things that make Zoo Tycoon more like a real zoo?

Dinosaurs are too expensive. The fencing, scientists, above-mentioned dinosaur recovery team, and the dinosaurs themselves cost insane amounts of money. Granted, if we really did have dinosaurs to put on display I imagine that would be "realistic", but it's hard enough to keep the money rolling in with normal animals.

On the whole, I was disappointed with the expansion. Some, who liked the idea of dinosaurs in a zoo, may disagree, and I suppose that would be justified, but I would have rather seen 50 new animals and new useful gameplay features (I noticed you still can't turn off the silly shelters to see underneath for trampled terrain - unless I missed something) than dinosaurs. I hope Microsoft decides to make another, more realistic expansion. I love Zoo Tycoon and I'm sure I'd buy it.
