Summary: Don't buy this version
Review: Why not buy this version you ask? You may be saying to yourself I'll buy this one and see if I like it then I'll buy the expansions, but I guarantee if you buy this game, three months later want BOTH expansion packs as well as Rollercoaster II. So spend the extra ten bucks now and get the two expansions. This game is incredibly addictive, just when you think you've got everything figured out, you'll find something new that you want to do. I have had this game for six months, four months ago I had every land beat. But I kept playing, even on parks that have been completed I still love just picking some angry guest and do everything I can to make him happy. I destroy old coasters and build my own design. This game has enough to do to keep even the most veteran gamers happy. The game earns five stars and higher if I could. But I only gave it one star because for ten bucks more you can almost quadruple your fun! BUY IT!

Review: At first I was not impressed with a theme park simulation game. But after playing this for a few hours, I was hooked. It is similiar to other Sim type games, but it it's way easier to set your goals and to see your accomplishments.

Review: If your a strategy and roller coaster lover then you must buy this game. Appart from the poor graphics I loved this game. The sounds are actually recorded in the heart of a theme park. I am in love with this game. It's fun for the kids and the adults. If you're looking for your first game buy this. It lasts a long time with campaigns that start form easy to difficult. I am currently looking forward to the release of Roller Coaster Tycoon 2, if you want to buy this then you should buy RCT first because RCT2 is an expansion.

Review: When we got this I didn't think I would like since Fast Food Tycoon was so awful but i love it. I can play it for hours. It is easy to get the hang of too. My 5 year old nephew gets the concept and my 11 year old brother is addicted.

Review: Rollercoaster Tycoon is an excellent game. I love it. I've had it for three years and I still have fun every time I play it. This game has so many possibilities, the fun never ends. The idea of the game, which is pretty obvious, is to create the greatest amusement park ever. And this game makes it simple. There are so many parts to this game, like researching rides, building coasters, hiring employees, and running ad campaigns. Everything is so easy to do, so you never get frustrated like in Sim City or Sim Theme Park. This game is family friendly, a perfect game for anyone over 8 years old. And as an added bonus, RCT is educational, too! You learn all about finance, engineering, and keeping people happy. All you need to play this game is time and creativity! You're gonna love it!!!

Summary: A Great Game For All Ages
Review: RollerCoaster Tycoon could be one of the greatest games ever invented. Who here HASN'T wanted to build their own roller coasters and theme parks? No matter what age you are, no matter if you're a boy or girl: get this game. It's probably one of the best sim games I've ever played. I've heard of other "Tycoon" games, but I don't think any of them could ever live up to this one.

Review: Roller Coater Tycoon is by far one of the best simulator PC game I have ever played. This game is what it sounds like...You build a theme park. There are many different environments to choose from(you get more environments as you beat more levels. The graphics in this game aren't jaw dropping but they are okay. But this game isn't about graphics, it's about freedom. It's very challenging to get your guests to actually like your park:) This is a great PC game and is highly reccomended. ~Dan~
