Summary: The Greatest Game
Review: Roller Coaster Tycoon is definately the greatest game for the computer. It is so addictive and so much fun. But don't buy this game expecting it to be all fun and games, it can get very hard(and I wouldn't suggest this for anyone under 12). In this game not only do you design roller coasters, but you can custom make other rides too(log flumes, chair lifts, water slides, etc.) And don't worry, if you don't think that you would be good at designing rides, there are pre-made rides to choose from.Designing an amusement park is a lot of work, but with a lot of hard work, you will be able to build a very successful one.

Review: I bought this for my 13 year old, who was not happy (it was not on his list). In the three weeks since, it has become his favorite game, and now he has his friends coming over to play as well. Great playing value - over the vacation, they have spent 2 hours plus per day with it, and are still thrilled! As am I.

Review: If you have a job, kids, spouse, or anything else that requires your time, I do not recommend you purchase this game. IT IS ADDICTING! Your free time is gone! You will be dreaming of new Roller Coaster designs in your sleep and bending paper clips at work to look like your latest creation! Chris Sawyer is a genius!

Summary: I couldn't get my family off!
Review: I bought this game for Christmas on a sort of a whim and it was the hit of our holiday season! The only problem was I couldn't get near our new computer because my sons (ages 11, 8, and 6) were watching my brother (in his 30s) play this game for two days straight!

Summary: The Best Software Ever!
Review: This game is great! I just got it a couple of days ago, on Christmas, and I'd say I've already played it for 12 hours. It is so addicting! You build your own amusement park, and charge prices for admission. You hire a staff consisting of Handymen, Mechanics, Security Guards, and Entertainers. You try to make your amusemnt park as successful as possible to reach your objective. I recommend this game to ANYONE. I loved it, along with my brother and sister. My friend loves it, too, and she rarely uses the computer! This is the perfect game that anyone would enjoy.

Summary: Slow to Get Going, Repetitive to Play
Review: It's an inventive idea, but there's a lot of work to setting up this game (unlike some of the other Sim games) before it really gets going. The set-up time before the park was really up and running--i.e., before the game became fun, really--was just too daunting. We gave away the CD-rom to a 10-year-old (who does love it!)

Summary: Easy to play, easy to love
Review: If you have loved all of those others clasic games out there (doom, quake, warcraft,etc) but thought they were a little too violent or too repetitive then you should try this game. It has an easy interface and is loads of fun. You can expierience the joy of managing your own themepark without worrying about budget costs or local laws because in this game there are no limits. You can use the games built-in rides or you can design your own rides. If you don't think that you have the knack for designing your own rides, but want to get better ones then you can go to the game's official website where you can download extra official rides or you can swap rides with other people at the "ride exchange". This game is so fun and exciting but, if you dont believe me then just go download the free demo. I'm sure it will convince you that Roller Coaster Tycoon is a great game!

Review: I Love this game. It is soo much fun. The best part is being able to design your own roller coasters. The only major fault I can see is making sure your ride isn't too intense or no one will ride it. It's a great game without the violence or big breasted girls. I can't wait to get the expansion pack!

Review: This is the best game out right now. For anyone who loves rolleroasters, or just likes to get a bit creative. What others have not told you in their reviews is that, not only can you design your own rides or use rides provided by the game, BUT you can also download rollercoasters, car rides, bobsleds, anyride that can be designed by the user off of the INTERNET.
