Rating: Summary: A Must Have Game Review: It is really fun! I would, and still do, use it for hours!
Rating: Summary: The Most Addictive Game Ever! Review: The object of this game is to make the biggest most fun theme park ever. There are also a number of scenerios to pass that are really challenging. In your theme park you can build tons of stuff such as rollercoasters (obviously), mini golf courses, food and balloon stands, haunted and twisted houses, ferris wheels, merry-go-rounds and much much more. You can also build a number of water rides and tranportation rides like a monorail. I have only played this game with the "Corkscrew Follies" expansion pack so I don't know the features for just the regular game. You have to hire mechanics, to fix the rides if they break, handymen, to mow the grass water the garden, empty the garbage cans and cleanup barf, policemen, to keep visitors from vadilizing your property and entertainers dressed in outfits to make the expierience more fun. Watch as you earn more and more money as visitors pile up outside the entrance of your theme park. This is a great game you have to get!
Rating: Summary: Awesome Review: I loved this game. Creating the amusement parks is so much fun, then watching your visitors having loads of fun on something you create is a great feeling. Watchout though, it isn't always easy to create a fun ride and you have to have enough money to build it. Once you create all you fit on the land you have, expand your area and keep going. The game is divided into goals. You start out with the simple basic park and once you reach the preset goal for that park, you move onto the next park which is more of a challenge. As you progress the parks get more difficult and the goals keep increasing. It keeps you interested as you create more and more parks and the challenge gets bigger and bigger. You could build parks for hours with this game.
Rating: Summary: Great Game! Review: I love this game. Buy it.... It's worth the money!
Rating: Summary: PC Cocaine! Review: This game is not only awesome, but probably one of the most addictive games ever made (along with Tony Hawke Pro Skater, Sim City, Diablo II, Rogue Squadrain, and The Sims). I really enjoy this game, because it is amazingly fun. The only problem is that you don't actually get to ride the rides, personally. That would be ULTIMATE. If you love emusment parks or ever wanted to design roller coasters, this is amazing. Trying to make the worlds greatest amuzment park is the best high. I deffinately recommend this to others. Just make sure you don't play it too much, or you'll need to go to some kind of Rehab program...Just kidding. But it is very, very, very fun!
Rating: Summary: Another case of nostalgia Review: I don't suppose anyone remembers the original Theme Park game, but it was a great game. It was extremely challenging and hard to pick up, but had many great features to it. Unfortunately, it had some bugs too. I got this game hoping that it would be a graphically intense, bug-fixed version of the original. This game is basically the same game, but many of the features that made Theme Park such a great game have been taken out. If you ever see Theme Park, I highly recommend picking it up. Rollercoaster Tycoon, well it is a good game, but it just doesn't hold my interest as well as the original.
Rating: Summary: The most Addictive game *ever* Review: You just won't want to stop playing this game. Like certain books, you're hooked from the very start of the game. The scenarios are actually *beatable*, after a few tries you're a third of the way through the game, but it actually advances in difficulty *at the appropriate moments*, unlike some other games I know of. Now, the most satisfying part of the game itself: Custom building your own coasters. There are so many to chose from. Inverted steel, minecar, single rail, mini steel, wooden, stand up steel, bobsled, etc. It's so appeasing when you actually see people board your coaster, then disappointing to see the real life physics algorithim sling them into oblivion, killing X amount of people. Of course, there really isn't any violence in the game besides freak accidents. Also, this game helps develop and sharpen management skills, you can do marketing campaigns, price setting, goal setting, etc. This game is the very best, top of the line. Do yourself a favor, it's appropriate for any age and rather addictive, so go buy it now.
Rating: Summary: One of the best sim games made! Review: This is a great game! If you've never played it here is a brief description: You own a theme park. You build the rides, bathrooms, etc. to satisfy your guests. As more people come to your park the more money rolls in. Once you get good at it you can stop using pre-built roller coasters and make custom ones. But don't make them too scary or people won't ride them. When you run out of space for your theme park, buy some more rides and stuff. I also have some pro's and con's about this game: Pro's: 1. Unlimited possibilities let your mind wander. 2. "Real-life gameplay" tests you to your fullest extent. 3. Make your park better and better so you become richer and richer. Con's: 1. To get people to ride the rides you have to make these confusing, hectic walkways. 2. If you make a ride to scary, no one will ride it. 3. Gameplay goes on forever so you can get bored easily after a long while. But if you are the type that get's interested in this kind of stuff, this games for you!
Rating: Summary: WARNING: Extremely addictive! Review: This is such a great game. I love every minute of it! I just can't go on it for five minutes: it turns into five hours! The whole point of the game is to create a cool theme park and have so many guests in the park and a certain park rating by year 2, 3, or 4. I love building roller coasters on this game, although it can be tough (most coasters I build get an intensity rating of ultra-extreme and nobody rides it). But lets not forget merry go rounds, food stands, bathrooms--all the small things. However, this is not without its faults (what game is?). For instance, the goal of the scenario. If you surpass the amount of guests in your park and the park rating is above the required (usually around 600), and it's only year 2, you gotta wait. And that can be aggravating. Second, why can't guests go on the ultra-extreme coasters? It's not like they'll kill them or something. All in all, this is a great game for your PC. It's like a drug, how addictive it is. You might need a prescription to get off of it!
Rating: Summary: It never ends... Review: This is one of the best games I have ever gotten. When you add the expansion pack this game almost never gets boring. You can just keep building and building. The only problem I found is that there is not a level that lets you build every attraction if you have the expansion pack. Other then that I love this game.
