Summary: fun...for a few weeks
Review: This game is so addcitive, or should i say WAS ADDICTIVE. It keeps you glued to your computer for about 3 weeks and then after that, you wanna glue it to your shelf and never touch it again. This has little replay value.

Summary: Top drawer Simulation
Review: After I started playing this game, I realized that I had a history of Simulation Addiction -- having played five or more simulations, including the recent hit "The Sims." Roller Coaster Tycoon is definitely one of the best sims out there (and there are many other theme park sims to choose from).The interface takes a short time to get familiar with, but is very simple and easy to operate. The graphics are great (could you use this program to design a real rollercoaster? Looks like it to me!), the levels each have different goals and features. I especially appreciated all the different theme landscaping available, including Greek and Roman architecture, Wonderland theming (giant chess pieces, candy, mushrooms, etc), and Wild West props. The rollercoasters are a blast to build, but not simple to master. After 20+ rollercoasters, I have yet to build the perfect ride. My only problem was with the 3/4 view -- at some points it's hard to see what's going on with your rollercoaster as it interacts with other rides and the landscaping. This problem was easy to solve, as the view options allow you to "turn off" the rollercoaster supports, landscaping, paths, or anything else that gets in your line of sight. I heartily recommend this to any fan of simulation games in the vein of Sim City, Theme Hospital, or The Sims. This is a great game with a high addiction factor.

Review: Roller Coaster Tycoon is a great game it is hard but fun. You people who a really happy, really mad, or really sick! You see your park grow from 8 people in your park to 800. Its really fun. I play it all the time. Its my fav game ever.

Summary: More Fun Than A Barrel Of Monkeys
Review: I was drawn to this game because one aspect of my work includes some antique carousel restoration. I have also been a long time afficianado of amusement parks. I am not much of a game player, but this addictive game quickly drew me in. I have been playing it (with the addition of the Corckscrew Follies Expansion Pack) for over a year and still have not tired of it. The varied scenarios and endless options including the ability to design ones own rides lead to endless options. Warning: It's extremely addictive....if it's subject matter is at all of interest to you, you will not be able to stop playing.

Summary: Thank God it is not 3D
Review: Brilliant. The ease of play is excellent. You dont need a super computer to play this game just like many recently released game.Many feel that it should have been in 3D or with more advanced graphics, some movies interludes ect. Thank god it is not, That would be the biggest minus for this game. The graphics, sound are just right if you want to really enjoy this game without any disturbance.

Summary: A Great Game
Review: This is a fantastic game. At first it is tricky learning how to build roller coasters that guests will actually ride, but pretty soon it gets easier. There are only a few flaws to this game: first of all, the guests in the game are incredibly stupid. You can have a park where the path is just one loop, and they will still get lost and make your park rating go down. Also, some of the parks are quite annoying, but you have to beat them all in order to get to a final, bonus park called Mega Park. Believe me, it is worth going through all the parks for Mega Park. This game also has an expansion pack which came out recently, and another one which is coming out soon. If you are interested in more ride variaties and scenarios to beat, buy the second expansion pack when it comes out, since it includes the first one.

Summary: 1 Fun part
Review: I hate this game sooo much. The only fun thing to do is throw the people thnat want to leave into a lake. It doesn't doi anything to affect your status (you might not get the safest park award) but it makes the people drown!!! Fun, right?

Review: RollerCoaster Tycoon is one of the best computer games I have ever bought! It is very very fun, and you can make your own theme parks from scratch, or build one that has been started. You can build your own coasters or use some that were already made. You can color your rides, and hire people to clean up your park, fix your rides, and entertain. They have many different landscapes like Forest Fronteirs and Dynamite Dunes. I give it 5 stars all the way! P.S.- Buy it!
