Summary: What More Can You Say
Review: Really, what more can you say about this game, that has not been said in the last 100+ interviews. The game is extremely good. It is not as boring as Sim City can be (Alright I am too [scared] to turn disasters on). The other "building games" (Such as "Age of Empires," "Red Alert 2" etc) are more about warfare. But this game works because you do not simply make a amusement park. There are a series of challenges. Have so many guests in the park by X amount of time. Have your Park Value be X amount of dollars in X amount of time. It is almost like a puzzle game, where you have to figure out how to solve every new challenge. In the course of playing the game I have learned a few things. ALWAYS place a bathroom and plenty of benches near the exit of every roller coaster. If you make all your rides free, and set your park enterence fee at $30 or $40 dollars (After you have a few rides), somehow you end up with more money. There you go. This is one of the most interesing and fun games I have ever played, and it is well worth checking out.

Summary: GREAT GAME!
Review: I think this game is great. You probably have as many options as you do in a real theme park. As the graphics aren't drop-dead gorgouas, they are satisfing. Here some pros and cons. Pros:-You have lots of options in this game -You can make the rides any way you want -There are barely any gliches or gremlins -There are more expansion packs (you still need RTC for the expansion) Cons: -All guests are grown men with brown hair -Rides can crash and people can die( or drown, if intended)

Summary: Incredibly Addicting!
Review: The only complaint that I have about this game is that it's too addicting. I couldn't stop until I had completed all of the scenarios and beaten the whole game, but then the Expansion Pak (Loopy Landscapes) came along... I'll guarantee that if you like other Sim games that you'll like this one. It's very hard to get tired of-- you can make your own Roller Coasters (with as man loop-dee-loops as you want), add Cotton Candy stalls, Merry-Go-Rounds, Water Slides, hire Staff, and do virtually anything you want. It's fun to watch the Sim people come into your park and go from ride to ride, spending all their money along the way. If you end up liking this game as much as I do you'll probably want to get the Loopy Landscapes Expansion pack as well. This game is almost flawless, Two Thumbs Up!

Summary: Having fun with Roller Coaster Tycoon!
Review: This game lets you pick a scenario and lets you build a whole bunch of rides like roller coasters, merry-go-rounds, and log rides. But beware. You have a limited amount of money and you have to price everything. Make your park fun and exciting so people will come. Follow the objectives so you can get a new level.EXAMPLE: Your objective is to have 650 guests in your park by the end of October Year 3 and a park rating of 600. This game is so much fun that if you get it, you will have so much fun!

Review: Just about one of the best games ever made. About 6 months ago I got this game. You never, ever get bored of this game. You can even track a single guest's thoughts feelings. Once more, everything is under you control. From the amount of people a single ride can hold to the amount of water in your park. The graphics are great! This game is worth every penny, trust me.

Summary: Fun sim game
Review: This game is one of the better sim games made in recent times. Save your money and get this game instead of Roller Coaster Tycoon 2, because both are the same thing, the sequel having only few modifications over the first. The construction of rollercoasters is slightly cumbersome, which makes it a bit difficult to make just the right coaster, but with a little practice its good.

Review: I am hopelessly addicted to this game. It is very creative not only from the coputer programers point. It is the same for the person that wants to creat a theme park. I also have the expantion pack call corkscrew follies this make the game that much more fun. There are one or two small problems.

Summary: Beware of hidden danger
Review: This game has so much going for it. It is fun and challenges the mind. It is great for teaching problem solving skills. The one thing that we wish we would have know about the game is that the people in this game can die from a rollercoaster accident. Our child loved playing this game for over a month until one day she was playing and one of the rollercoasters crashed and killed several people. I know most people probably don't care about this but for all of you parents who do not want your children desensitized by such things please beware. This was extemely upsetting to our child. Had we known that this game contained this element we probably would not have purchased this game.

Summary: Problems to resolve
Review: My kids play this game. It is run in a Windows 2000 environment. They can save their games and see that they are being stored in a proper directory. When they try to recall a saved game, the program aborts! They have never been able to recall any saved games. Is this a problem with Windows 2000? How do we resolve this issue? Summary: Good clean fun.
Review: One of the best family games available, Roller Coaster Tycoon is a clean, nonviolent real time strategy game. Designing an extravagant theme park or creating the ultimate rollercoaster is great, but it's no easy task. Since this game is a real time strategy game, it's about using the resources available to achieve certain objectives, wich isn't a big problem because it gives some meaning to the game, but, as many people complain about, RCT has no free editor that would alow you to creat an extravagant theme park or the ultimate roller coaster without having to worry about getting kids into your park to take their money. That, along with the fact that it's somewhat time consuming and tedious to complete some of the scenarios, keeps this game from being truly great, because it is extreamly playable and quite fun. Fun for the whole family.
