Summary: An Excellent Game, Fun and Addictive
Review: RollarCoaster Tycoon is an excellent game. It is not too expensive, but offers hours of fun. The concept is to build an amusement park in all types of landscapes and obtain a certain goal.(1,200 guest with a 600 or higher park rating in 4 years for example.
It is fun building your own design and watching it run. You choose from 12 different styles, as well as other rides such as Swinging Ships, Ferris wheels etc.
The game is very easy to beat but it takes a while to beat all the levels. But once you do you reac the MEGA PARK scenario.
I have long beaten the game, yet there are some differences. In real life you have to pay alot more interest for the bank, rollar coasters cost millions not thousands, rides do not "break down" as often, and rides hardly ever have crashed, and you are going to pay your staff more than $35.00 a month.
Yet it s still one of my favorite games. Try to build a ride with an intesity level of more than 30.00.

Review: This is one of the coolest pc games that I've ever played. It has all sorts of rides and attractions that you can customize.
The other expasion packs is very good too, because they give you more scenaries and rides.

Summary: Roller Coaster Tycoon
Review: This game is great I am still playing it. You have a goal on each park to beat it. It has great roller coasters. You can build neat stuff like: Water Rides, Roller coasters, Monarail, Minitature railroad, shops and stalls, and theming objects. After you get this game I would advise you to get a Roller Coaster Tycoon expansion pack Loopy Landscapes. I rated it 4 stars because of it's much cooler if you get Loopy Landscapes with it. I would advise it to anyone, even adults.

Review: If you like the sim city games or designing things I highly recomend it. You get to design your own Theme Park and Rides. You can hire people to work for you and decide on your own prices for everything. Its highly addictive. Theres so many options and posibilities. Summary: Rollercoaster Tycoon is Addicting.......................
Review: I have had Rollercoaster Tycoon for at least 3 years....and I have all of the expansions and wish that there was another expansion to it. I am working on my 52nd theme park.....and still have loads of fun left to it. It is addicting....like when I am waiting on more money to work with I go and do like my house work........and keep checking on the computer to see if I have money to build things with. I love the game and it is one of my favorite games. I am always telling people about it and to download the demo. I started playing by downloading the demo but soon got mad cause when I would get start.....I mean really get started on building my theme park the demo would automatic shut off on me and I would get mad so I went out and got me the game and started playing it. Does anyone out there know if there will be another expansion coming to us? And if so when?

Summary: If only it was real.
Review: Phew! Meeting those scenareo goals were tough. But I did it. Anyone who likes themeparks for real or on game, will love this. Don't be fooled by the title. It isn't just rollercoasters. In fact there is more of the other types of themepark attractions than there is coasters. Lots more.
You get to manage everything from staff to construction. You can also theme them and name them. Whatever type of themepark you want to do. Do it. Everything is to scale, which is quite unusual for a strategy game. The only drawbacks are the very drawbacks that real park managers would have. Once all of the goals are met an extra park appears. And then you can do what you want.
It's tough and time consuming, but worth it.

Summary: It was 9pm and now it is 5 in the morning........time flies
Review: Time flies while you are engorged in this game of building and pleasing. I get caught up in it for hours trying to design new coasters or waiting for funds to finish one. I often forget that I am married and have kids while playing this. THE PARK IS MINE! and I am zoned into it. Now all they have to do is come out with haunted theme park expansion pack. Happy Holloween!

Review: Just when I thought there wasn't a better game out there than 'The Sims', 'Roller Coaster Tycoon' gives that game a run for its money. This game is so fun! You don't just get to build roller coasters, you can build log rides, water slides, and a variety of other pre-made carnival rides: carousels, ferris wheels, etc. Add paths, scenery, and shops and you have the park of your dreams! It's so rewarding to watch the little people clamor to get in line for your rides, and to see them jump up and down with glee if they enjoyed the ride. If they're hungry, build them a popcorn stand. If they're tired, build them some benches. Though the game looks a little complicated and overwhelming at first, once you get the hang of it, you'll be fine. The manual is pretty good and should help you along. My only complaints are the sound effects -- hearing the people squeal with glee is great, but hearing the toilets in the little bathrooms flush is not. Whether you're a kid at heart who has always loved amusement parks, or a tycoon-in-training, you're bound to like this game.

Review: I don't think I can sum this up in 1,000 words. the game is addictive. It is full of rides and every person that enters your park has different stats. You can name, track, and watch certain guests in the park. You can build your own roller coasters, go-karts, car rides, log flumes, and many more. The graphics in this game are wonderful. I've never played such a game before I played this one. If you like theme parks and want to see what it is like to be the owner, get this game by Chris sawyer, the CEO of MicroProse, the Tycoon creators.
