Summary: As much fun for Mom as for Junior
Review: My eight-year old son received Roller Coaster Tycoon for Christmas, and he and I have enjoyed many happy hours developing theme parks together. One warning--this game can be addictive! In addition to having fun, my son is learning some things about business -- if he prices his rides too high, no one will ride them, some rides lose their effectiveness after they've been in the park for awhile, etc. I'm just having fun!

Review: This game is in my opinion the best computer game that has been made. Everything on it is so great. They didn't miss much when programming it. I have other games where you build themeparks but they don't have as good of graphics and you don't have as much freedom and technology as RTC (Roller Coaster Tycoon). If you like theme parks- and even if you don't but enjoy building and imagiming yourself running a business, this game is really for you. When my friends come over to my house, I don't want to show RTC to them if fear that they'll be glued to the computer for the rest of the time. That's how great a game it is. You'll love it!!!

Review: Roller Coaster Tycoon has to be one of the best and most addictive computer games I have ever played! This is no joke, this game is awesome, you can build and manage a giant amusement park, build terrifying roller coasters, and keep your guests happy. I love this game so much, that I have all 3 games of RCT.
Also guests that can't handle the big rides can choose from many other amusing rides, such as a carousel and sometimes guests can vomit all over your pathway if the nausea on the roller coaster is 2 high. Also, roller coaster tycoon.com and other websites can give u trainers, that are huge cheats. Hire matinence workers, handymen, security guards and entertainers to upkeep your park.
So strap yourself in for the best game Tycoon has ever made.

Review: There seem like endless designs, rides, and locations to play around with in this game. Although the excessive throw up from nauseous guests may seem a little unrealistic, the game itself, (especially the coasters), is exciting and fun. Graphics are good, and it's always fun sacking mechanics and handymen. As time progesses, based upon the amount of research funding you give out, new rides, stalls, theming, and improvements are developed, keeping your interest and expanding your parks. This is a great game, especially for someone who is into their roller coasters.

Review: Here is a brief and dull overview of the Highly Addictive game "Rollercoaster Tycoon:
This simulation theme park game is, in my view, the best theme park simulation. You have 14 rollercoaster styles, from minetrains to monorails, which you can choose to edit. Unlike 'Sim Theme Park' there is no 'mother-like' creature bugging you to do things. This game gets right to the point. I also think, compared to Sim Theme Park, that Rollercoaster Tycoon does the best job creating a life-like simulation. This game is very easy to learn (I learned it in 20 minutes). You have a choice of many styles such as Roman, Egyptian, and many more. You also have a choice of about 10+ parks.So, if you were wondering whether to purchase Sim Theme Park or RollerCoaster Tycoon, here is the answer. I own both, and have played each extensively. RollerCoaster tycoon is superior. WARNING: THIS GAME IS HIGHLY ADDICTIVE. :)

Review: This is a good game to get into if you've got some time on your hands. It's definitely addicting, but it's not the type of addicting like where it's boring as hell but you want to keep playing to unlock secrets and whatnot. It gets more challenging as you play, and doesn't slow down. You're constantly moving and keeping the park clean as well as the rides moving smoothly. You're keeping your patrons from [getting sick]... and keeping them from leaving the park, and want them to spend as much money as they have in your park.
You can design your own rollercoasters, water rides, go kart rides, etc. It's a great game to get into, but just be aware that you'll want to keep playing once you've started.

Review: Roller Coaster Tycoon is a game that you build your own theme park.It might look boring, but once you start playing it,it's very fun and creative.This game's got lot's of cool rides like corkscrew rollercoaster,inverted coaster,swining ships and gravitrons and more.And there are lot of mild rides and shops like car rides,space rings,gift shops and pizzas.
This game is creative is because you can almost do what you want to do in this game.For example, you can make a vertical loop go through a vertical loop when you build a rollercoaster.
But there are also some problems.You have only two kinds of objectives in this and that is makeing guest come two your park and increasing park vaules.This might make the game boring but you have to accomplish these objectives in different park situations.Like you have lots trash in your park or something like that.
I give this game 5 stars because it,s very creative and with a little imagination you can build a park that even you are going to be suprised!

Summary: A new obsession!
Review: I was fortunate enough to receive this as a Christmas gift and in under a week I have become completely addicted to it. I have always been a fan of theme parks and now I am enjoying designing my own in between expensive trips to the real ones. The first evening I sat down to play I ended up bolted to the chair for eight and a half hours. I look forward to toying with this every single day, always trying to improve my existing parks or design a newer, better one. I can't wait to go out and buy the expansion package. There should definately be more than five stars for this one.

Summary: Great Game For Anyone You're Shopping For!
Review: Roller Coaster Tycoon is the most fun I've had on this computer. It's not just for designing and building rollercoasters. You have to build bathrooms, food stands, kiddie rides, and everything else. I hate when I have to exit out of the game because it is "addictivly fun". I suggest this game to anyone!

Summary: Don't Buy it if You Want a Life!
Review: We bought this game for my nine year old son who loves roller coasters. He absolutely loves it. We hav a race to the computer every morning to see who gets to play it first. It is completely absorbing, so don't start playing it if you want to get anything else done that day! My son is really good at designing the rollercoasters himself (his mother unfortunately is not!). We also bought the expansion pack to go with it, which gives you some fun options. I highly recommend this game (just be careful, or you may forget to eat!)
