Summary: Where legends come to life - or at least the PC.
Review: Ever wish you had the chance to save the damsel in distress? Does the thought of robbing the rich attract you? Want to hang out with Robin Hood or better yet be Robin Hood? Well then your dream has come true with this game.

After the easy to follow installation, which worked on 98, 2000 and XP without flaw, you are ready to begin the challenge of taking on Prince John and the Sheriff of Nottingham and saving England for King Richard.

You have plan out the strategy and find the men, recruit those that will help you, run the campaign and at the same time make sure you don't get caught.

The game is fairly fun to play and easy to follow and with a little work easy to master. What I found a little disappointing was the user manual, which lacks real help although the website seemed easy to follow along.

The graphics are above average and the speed is okay, I think you should have more people to choose from when creating you "band of merry men", but that's what updates are for.

Overall the T rating is appropriate and I can see a sequel coming out soon.

Summary: Huge fun to play...
Review: Excellent game with well designed missions, innovative controls and pretty good graphics. Highly recommended for anyone who likes puzzle/strategy games!

Summary: Fun through the whole game
Review: I got this game for Christmas and so I decided to try it out. From the beginning I just loved it!

The NPCs are amazingly realistic. For example: if you knock out a guard, one of his fellow guards might hear you and attack you OR he might flee in terror OR he might go and alert a commander who's patrolling the city OR he might wake up his friend and ask him what happened. If they alert the commander you will hear him say "Guards, guards" or "But he's dead" and he will point exactly in your direction.

The combat system is not like any other game I have played. Usually you just click on a guy and you attack him. In Robin Hood when you click on a guy you can draw a line in a circle or to the right and it does different attacks. There are around 8 different attacks. If you select several guys and draw a line they will all do the same attack. You can also jump on top of buildings and shoot the guards with your arrows while only their archers and crossbowmen can hurt you.

The graphics are very detailed for a 2D game and you can hide behind almost anything so that the guards wont see you.

In Sherwood Stutely has made a camp for you and after you rescue him and his friends you can go there. There are many things you can make your men do such as train on melee or archery, heal themselves, cook food, make leather purses to bribe the guards, make nets to throw on guards...

Some of the missions are a bit easy like the first ambush ones but of course im only at the start of the game (rescuing Will Scarlet).
However those missions are really fun because you can lead the guards into the traps that are set up.

I think this one of the best games I have ever played and I recommend it to all.

Summary: YALORH (yet another legend of robin hood)
Review: I saw an ad for this game and at first glance thought 'wow'. I have only played the demo but I am thirsty for more. The graphics may only be 2d but they are gorgeous to look at. The gameplay is superb. Each character has his/her own unique skills you can use to get through each mission. The replay value here is enormous, since there is no one way to finish a mission. I found myself replaying the demo until I was salivating. I will buy this game as soon as I can. I highly recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of squad based tactical games.

Summary: Robin Hood is addicting
Review: Robin Hood has got to be the most addictive game I have personally ever played. After what seems like five minutes, you find out you've been playing for hours. This game's 3D effects are spectacular, and the music creates the perfect atmosphere for the game.

Summary: Review
Review: Robin Hood is a commandos-like game by the creators of desperados. It has cool graphics and very fun gameplay.

The graphics are extremely well detailed in 2D. This results in a colorful and pretty world, but the camera can not be rotated.

Music and sounds are good. They usually are in modern games anyway.

The gameplay is very fun. What generally happens is that you choose a mission, choose the characters you want to use in from the Merry men and then play. Only 4-5 characers at once can participate. Then you start playing. Your characters all have some special skills. For example Robin can jump over small stones or on the top of tables. He can also shoot.

One very fun new option is the dueling interface. When two characters come close to each other they start fighting. Now you can try different ways to hit with different movements of the mouse. It really is quite entertaining.

The game does not have very good story, but that is not a problem with the fun gameply. And we all know about Robin Hood anyway.

The AI is very good. The enemies never act the same way. You can play one situation numerous times and it will always play differently. For example if you kill the soldiers in a patrol the patrol leader will most probably decide to get reinforcements. Or he might try to fight you.

In short, Robin Hood is a very beautiful in sights and sounds and entertaining in gameplay game.

A must have for people who like Commandos 1/2 and Desperados.

Summary: Justice be Served - The Sneaky Way!
Review: Robin Hood is a one or more, tactical squad based game. You start the game as Robin who just returned from the war, expecting to find his land back. What he discovered was that his dad had died, and the Sheriff of Nottingham is running loose, taking advantage of the people right and left.

You start the game by yourself, but as the game progresses you'll get additional people in your group, like Will Scarlet, Friar Tuck, John, Maid Marian, etc. You then get to use them in each mission to accomplish each mission's objective.

If you've ever played Fallout Tactics or Commandos, you'll feel right at home here. It also has some RPG/Strategy element of Freedom Force as well. You get to use Stealth and Cunning with some fights as well, starting from archery to sword fightings. My favorite part is when I am standing on a rooftop and shoot arrows down at the Sheriff's people - really cool!

Overall, a five out of five. Try it out - you're not going to regret it!

Summary: A Tres Cool Game!
Review: This game is so good!! The gameplay is amazing easy and funny. The guards's remarks all ways crack me up. the graphics are good and the story (although not SO accurate) is excellent and the characters are almost real. I finished the game in sorrow!
But if its so goooood why did I give it 4 stars? because on my old and new computer it always flickered until i pressed ctrl-alt-delete and go back again. and sometimes it freezes and just closes for no apparent reason. the most logical explanation is that (although it suggests otherwise on the System Rrequirements) it is not very compatible with Windows XP. My computer is a Pentium 4, 120 GB, 2.66 Ghz, so the like I said the most logical explanation is its compatibility with XP.
