Summary: Not Quite Up To Par
Review: I was somewhat dissapointed in the fact that C&C 2 did not add to the RTS genre, even though it is my favorite game. However, much like Red Alert's expansion packs, this one adds too many units that are one man armies that can level you or your opponent VERY quickly. This ruined the playbalance. It makes for a blast in multiplayer though, because you get armies of the big dudes... The single player expansion leaves lots to be desired.

Summary: Could have been much better....
Review: Like I have said before when I reviewed Tiberium Sun, Westwood provided a excellent battle interface and look. Now I just want Westwood to give a game with a good storyline. In Tiberium Sun, it was horrible how they gave James Earl Jones and Michael Biehn such a...bad storyline to act to.

Now in Firestorm, we have to relive all the nonsense again. Why did I buy this add-on? First of all I got it for dirt cheap and I wanted to see what the new units had to offer. Firestorm is truly the worst add-on pack that Westwood has ever made. At least the orginal CC add-on pack had the dinosaur levels. Why anyone would want to play the same storyline twice is beyond me. The AI is truly stupid. On the GDI side, just amass a large group of Orca bombers and you can obliterate anything, and on NOD side, you can pretty much Sub APC engineers and steal all your enemy's buildings and easily defeat them. I finished the add-on in one day. The add-on is that pathetic.

The Add-on is centered on one thing, DESTROY CABAL. Now, I happen to think that CABAL is pretty kewl, especially when you are working with him. But now you have to destroy him twice in both campaigns. One of the new units, the Reaper, you do not get to build or create which is pretty much useless. And in the last mission on NOD campaign, CABAL attacks you with both NOD and GDI units. The computer always has to cheat doesn't it? The game play is still unbalanced and you can whiz thru most missions like a breeze.

I don't recommend this unless you are really bored and want to play thru 9 missions on both sides that follow the same storyline. I truly hope Red Alert 2 will be a improvement. I really don't think anything can top the storyline in the orginal Command and Conquer.

Summary: Best add on to hit the gaming industry.
Review: Okay, I have only 1,000 words, but I want to write as an extensive review as possible. It's very rare that you see an extensive review on sites like this. In my personal opinion, Firestorm manages to parallel or go beyond any add on for ANY game that has yet hit the gaming industry. With new missions, TONS of new and balancing units, and an excellent plot, Firestorm sets the standards. It's going to be difficult to capture the full spectrum of this product in 1,000 words, but here we go. To start off, we'll go for GDI units. First we have the Juggernaut: a very titan-like vehicle with three laser cannons and a very long range. Designed to give GDI an "artillery" match while it rocks at supporting other ground units. Next there's drop pods: great if combined with Ion blasts or massive air assaults. These egg shaped pods strafe the ground below them with machine gun fire as they fall, then release a storm of men to wreak havoc on an enemy base. The Mobile EMP: just like its "big brother." Now quickly for Nod. First, the Cyborg Reaper: cheap to build, it shoots missiles for air and land while immobilizing only infantry units with nets. (Three legs, what an idea.) The Mobile stealth generator: again, just like its "big brother." Thats your quick overview of the units. Both sides recieve limpit drones, robots that burrow under the ground, then leap out and attach themselves to any unit that drives or hovers over it. From then on, it sees what that unit sees. Well, I don't want to hold over this review any longer. I'd just like to say again that, with its cut scenes, new music, new missions, new Cabbol and Eve voices, and ESPECIALLY new units, this expansion will be a classical masterpiece for years to come. Don't wait a second, I recommend this game for any fans of the RTS game genre.

Summary: Sweet E-pack for Tiberian Sun
Review: Technology toady in graphics and animation are incredible the only sad part is westwood does not take advantage of that. However i dont care i still think this game is awesome but Diablo II might beat it in the graphics department.Oh yeah this firestorm thing is cool for the internet mainly.

Summary: A worthy expansion to a entertaining game
Review: The Command and Conquer saga has been running for a while and occasionally starts to show its age. This expansion pack, though not revolutionary, provides some additional depth and strength to balance out Tiberian Sun effectively. NOD players will love the new spider-cyborg, and GDI finally gets a worthwhile artillery unit with the Juggernaut. Enough new units, twists, and tactics to give the game a different spin (also, some of the more outrageous effects from the initial game are turned down - NOD artillery is now a little more "under control"). Better balanced game, and very good if you enjoy the C&C genre.

Summary: Opened a whole new window in Mulitplayer
Review: The Solo Missions could have been better in the begging, but with all of the new units there are thousands of new tactial oppertuties. I never liked their random map genator but it comes with better new maps(to bad there was no RAshowdown clone map). With all the new units you can sneak up on the your foe and bomb them with juggernauts and arterially in time to bring in the main units. I could talk on forever about my new stragadies. Buy this game for the multiplayer not for the solo missions.

If you love RTS games then you have to buy C&C: Tiberian Sun and Firestorm. What more can I say.

Summary: Could have been much better....
Review: This game could have been much better. There are only 9 new missions for each side. There are only about four new units for each side. The vidio clips are horrible beyond belief. The new storyline isnt very interesting, and in most of the missions you get very limited technology, so you dont get to use the new units very much.
