Summary: Don't Hesitate! Read This Review
Review: The Conquerors Expansion really put things into a different perspective. New maps(both standard and Real World), new game types such as King of the Hill, Defend the Wonder. Five more civilizations(Mayans, Aztecs, Spanish, Huns, Koreans). All 18 civilization has new units and new upgrades, smarter villagers who can get to work after they built a camp, and the mill can reseed the farms automatically. It's not that much of a must have, if you want it and have the money, go buy without hesitation.

Summary: Expansion adds new fun to the game
Review: I'm not much for buying expansion packs, but this one is worth it. It adds a great deal more variety to a game that is among my top three favorites.

Summary: Great Expansion to a Great game!
Review: Strategy is what this game is all about. There are several new challenging campaigns to accomplish and several new types of games (ie. King of the Hill, Last man Standing). Ensemble Studios has improved Age of Kings (an already excellent game) to make it even more excellent with Age of Empires II: The Conquerors. They listened to gamers and did all they could do to tweak the game to make AOE/AOK gamers very pleased. If you are new to Age of Empires/Age of Kings, the graphics are the same as Age of Kings but are still wonderful with new units/wonders/civs/maps. The sounds and the music are very appealing. The playability is excellent. One word to describe this game is balance. If you are not new to AOE/AOK, you know that there is great balance to this game. The Conquerors have made the game even more balanced with new technologies and new civilizations. With several civilizations to choose from, there isn't a dominating civ. The unique units make each civilization very different from the rest. Ensemble Studios has also tried to take into account the history of all the civilizations and implement those facts into the game. For example, given the Nomadic style living of the Huns, this Civ does not require houses to build, just one advantage to this civilization. One more thing: if you are into these games and enjoy them, they can be very addictive. Thanks for reading my review.

Summary: AoK2:TC ROCKS
Review: I bought Age of Empires 2: Age of kings on release and i have been playing it ever since (online). aok is the best RTS game on the market, especially muiltiplayer, with historical/educatinal bonuses(i find myself an expert on the aok history now).

When i heard AoK:TC was being made i studied it 5 months in advance and bought it on release, not to be disappointed either. TC adds A LOT too the gameplay. It is a breath of fresh air after playing the original for over a year straight. TC adds 5 new civs: huns, koreans, spanish, mayans and aztecs, with makes a total of 18 after you add to the original 13. TC also adds a veriaty of new random map scripts and the ability to create random map scripts. Small touch ups have been added such as smarter villegers and better farming... TC adds new options that make old military duds a new options such as calvalry archers and seige. Everything added is a huge improvement to the game except a few things i would have gadly left out (snow). in TC snow terrain has been added, most regular online gamers will agree that the only major flaw is the snow... its simply an eye sore and makes something more difficult. If you play AoK online this is a must buy, if you dont play it online start asap!!!

WARNING: AoK:TC is extremely addictiven, you may find it hard to leave for long periods of time without terrible withdraw. :D

Summary: A great game keeps getting better
Review: I rated this a 4. The prior AOK I would rate a 5. Why a 4? Well, because when I installed it, even after downloading the patch, it wouldn't run. After doing a FULL INSTALL (sucking up 300MB of space) it ran fine. Be forewarned (I never had a problem playing the original Age of Empires or AOK.) You must own AOK to use this expansion. I like games I can tinker with. It's even more addictive than The Sims in this regard for me. I love the scenario/campaign editor. It's great devising your own scenarios, and you can even record your own sounds and taunts to include in these. The game play itself is also marvelous, and it's a well planned and designed game. Even without going to "the zone" to challenge human opponents the game has so many options for game play that it's hard to find it boring. I wish more games were as customizable as this. If only I could replace the game's music itself with my own I'd give it five stars anyway.

Summary: A whole New Dimension
Review: There is no doubt that AOE 1 and 2 is the best game around and the conquerers is simply the best expansion around. The ROR dissapointed me greatly, not only did they not portray Rome well but all the other civilizations were exactely the same! The Conquerers is unbeleivable though, it adds five new civilizations ,eleven new units, twenty-six new technologies aswell as four new campaigns(Montezuma, El Cid, Attila the Hun and Battle of the Conquerers) and many other great improvements such as automatic farming and mining, ship formations and garissoning in rams. My favourite part is the new architecture and the new maps. I always wished that they would use real life settings such as Britain and Spain. The Rainforest and ice terrain is great. The Mayan and Aztec buildings are superb(especialy the Mayan wonder). Only one little thing let it down for me, no Incas! Oh well, perhaps if there's an AOE 3(let's hope) BUY IT!

Summary: Great Expansion but it could have a little more
Review: AOE is the best series of games on the face of this earth. Unless your from mars where they have 3D interactive VR then don't argue with me. The game expands with 5 more campaigns with 5 new civs: HUNS AZTECS MAYANS KOREANS SPANISH. Plus adds about 8 new maps, like my favorite "arena". The game is a great expansion if you like campaigns but it dosent bring barely any new units or abilities. Other than that this game is a winner.

If you have AOEII (you need this to run the game) andyou liked it then definitely get this expanstion.

All Hail the king of the Losers!

Summary: Probably The BEST Game I've Ever Played!!
Review: WARNING: If you're married or have kids or a girlfriend, DON'T buy this!!!!! You'll find yourself playing at all hours when you should be spending time with them. It's that addicting.

The graphics are astounding--the detail in each little picture is amazing, they're all lovingly crafted.

The sounds are incredible. Thrill to the sounds of warriors hacing at eachother, of might siege engines destroying a castle, of a cavalry charge into a village. And background music and sound effects simply add a new dimension to your experience.

Game play is very intuitive. It comes with learning scenarios and other scenarios so that you can get up to speed in a hurry, and the scenarios are very well crafted, complete with accented narration (yes, Spaniards speak with a spanish accent, etc.).

Online gaming takes it to the next level, but be sure to stay in rooms with titles such as "ROOKIES ONLY" or "NEWBIES", or else you'll be defeated in no time. Give yourself a chance to learn and have fun before taking on the "Big Guns".

Enjoy! I do :-)

Review: Rating: Strong Buy

Age of Empires 2: The Conquerers is one of the best stragety type of game I have played in a while. This game resembles UO, Ultima Online, the graphics are supreme. Even the smallest of characters have detailed graphics and weapons. Yeah the weapons are swords and spears, but once you get involved deeper and deeper into the game you have access to an arsenal of weapons to attack the enemy with. I was just playing this game for 5 hours straight, and I have to say, I couldn't get enough of it. I rated this game a 5 because it's graphics are surpurb and the game has great replay ability and has great depth and stragety.

I hope you all have as much fun as I do!

Summary: THIS is a must have for AOE2 gamers!!
