Summary: Excellent Game
Review: The world of rts games relies on an age old sytem of gathering resources, build a city, then defeating your enemy with an army. C&C Generals takes it one step farther with new modern day units and unbelievable graphics and sound. However enjoying this game as it was meant will require a powerful computer. WARNING: The system recomendations for this game are fairly low compared to what you will actually need to play it. Your are gonna need to have aP3 or P4 pumping out around 2+ Ghz. A 128mb Nvidia or ATI card is highly recomended.Additionally 512mb of ram makes the game run much smoother. However once you play it your eyes will thank you. The solo missions are a liitle un-challenging,but the awesome cut-scenes make up for it,however the real beauty of the game lies in the multyplayer modes. If you have a powerful enough machine and you are a fan of rts classics like: Warcraft series, C%C series, Rise of Nations, Age of Empires/Age of Mythology, then you MUST buy this game...you will not be dissapointed!

Summary: Definatly my favorite strategy game
Review: Of many of the strategy games I've played as a gamer this most definatly my favorite. This game relies less on resource managment and more on strait out action and combat. There are 3 different campaigns for each nationality (China which relies on nubmers, USA which relies on its more powerful vehicles and GLA which relies on its versitility although its the weakest of the 3 in my opinion.) Although I have yet to beat teh campain most of the fun is in the skirmishs taking on computer paleyrs, while initially it may be hard, once you grow accustmed to the way teh enemy's play you can easily beat them. This makes the game seem almost too easy, although I can't quite beat a hard enemy right now but this is the first I've played in awhile and I'm once again regaining my strategy, but I'm faily certain at one point I could beat teh ardest enemy difficutly with ease. What does all this mean? It means for a good challenge you'll eventually have to resort to online play leaving people on 56k to easily be left in teh dark (while I use broadband now I remember almost everything lagged in 56k.)
Very highly recomned for trs fans seeking fast paced action.

Summary: Worthy Buy!
Review: I don't usually purchase computer games, (usually borrow from friends, play for a week or two until I get tired, and give back), however, Generals is an exception, having been a fan of the Command and Conquer franchaise, this was a natural step, the new units are great, the gameplay is well polished, the minor bugs have been fixed in the subsequent patchs, all in all, if you're looking for a good RTS, or have a hankering for modern warfare, look no further

Summary: Command & Conquer - Generals
Review: An excellent game. Great graphics. The AI, in my opinion, does not seem to be a great leap forward. However, I have only had the game a few weeks, so there may be something I'm missing.

Campaigns are a bit short.

System Requirements are very high. Check this against your PC before you buy.

All in all, I still give the game a 7 out of 10

Summary: An Excellent Game
Review: They say that attention to detail makes the game. Well, this game is chock full of detail. Nukes leave radiation, ect. An awesome game, nice graphics, great multiplayer mode, and an engaging game overall. This is like a slightly better version of Age of Empires. More detail, upgrades aren't necessarily universal (each unit can be specialized to perform a specific task), units gain experience (something that AOE doesn't do, which is really annoying), and three very different "civilizations" each with it's own unique technologies and totally different focuses. I would highly recommend this game to any fan of RTS games.

Summary: Would get 5 if it wasn't so lacking
Review: Yes, it is Command and Conquer - among my favorite games of all time. Generals is even better than the previous C&C games. But why did I only give it three stars? Because it is too short! In C&C:RA there were a ton of missions to go on on each side. It took me a month of playing to finish the game as both sides. This time it took me 3 hours of playing to finish the USA missions. What's up with that?

So, because the game is so short, it gets smacked down really hard.

Summary: Best Command and Conquer Yet!
Review: Generals is the best Command and Conquer yet. It has three unique and equal armies to choose from. When I play online, China seems to be the most popular. The graphics have improved from Red Alert 2 and you cant say anything about this game until you have seen a nuke go off in an enemies base. Dont waste your money on this game if you dont have a newer computer. It has HIGH system requirements. Save your money and upgrade your computer or buy a new one. This is a great game and playing online is lots of fun. 5 Stars!

Summary: strategy game of the not so distant future
Review: My friend loaned me this game a week ago and, hey, it is really quite good. The theme of this strategy game is, in some ways amazingly modern. There are three groups that you can be, the Chinese, the US, or a mid-eastern terrorist group known as the GLA. It is quite simple really, both in difficulty and understanding, if you are the terrorist then you get to use weapons from suicide bombers to scud launchers to fight the Chinese and/or the US. If you are the Chinese or the US then you fight the terrorist with the latest in weaponry from stealth bombers, to tactical nukes, to Overlords, the mother of all tanks.
You also get promotion bonus points, which lets you choose to use artillery barrages, carpet bombs, or EMPs. You can also get tactical upgrades with the promotions. So whether you are destroying the terrorists and their bases or launching scud missiles at the Chinese/American allies, you are sure to enjoy this simple, but good modern war game.

Summary: IT'S A MONOPOLY!!!!!
Review: It's a great game but a lot of system requirements. The game only let you play if you have an nVidia GEForce2 or an ATI Radeon 7500 video card. If you have another one you can play even if you have the latest drivers of your video card. For me, it's a monopoly. So, I bought the game and now I have to buy a video card because the game is not running with my configuration. Always gets: "Sorry, an error has ocurred..." or something like that. So when you do all the thing in the tech support of EA, a new message box appear blaming overheating hardware, or virus or video card problem. So, I think you have to buy a new computer with the video card that they say so you can play the game. Bless you if you have te video card that they say before you buy this game. Please Review very carefull all the things... IF YOU DON'T HAVE A NVIDIA GEFORCE2 OR ATI RADEON 7500 AT LEAST, YOU CANT PLAY THIS GAME.

By the way, the game looks great, buy how do I know? It looks like in the back of the box... it seems to be great game... USA an its allies against CHINA o something like that....

I was gonna give to the game 1 star for the system requirements, but the pics in the back of the box makes me give it two star... maybe two and a half stars.
