Summary: SWG - Someday We'll Get-it
Review: This game hopes to be at the top of it's class. The April 15th release date puts this one nearly a year past its original release date. With all the hype surrounding this title, it's hard to believe it's all true. Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided is the most promising Massively Multiplayer Online game to date. Bringing together the talents of LucasArts and the MMO veteran that is Sony Online Entertainment. You can look forward to playing all sorts of characters from the Star Wars universe, and experiencing a multitude of professions from launch. With the promised space expansion this game looks to be a new classic. Now let's just hope we see it out on time...

Summary: Hyped or Not?
Review: (DECEMBER 30th, 2002)

I have been waiting for SWG for about a year now...

Now, nobody (not even Beta Testers) know what this game will be like. Beta Testers only have one planet open to them (Tatooine) at this point, and the game is only in Beta 2. Graphics are much better than Everquest, and gameplay will undoubtedly be. (They are both made by Sony and Galaxies is coming out 3 or 4 years after.. Wouldn't ya think Sony learned where their flaws are?)

There are other great features too. You can own your own house, be mayor of a player-created city, start your own military orginization, ect...

Doesn't that sound better than EQ?

Now, you tell me if even Beta Testers know what the game will be like.

Summary: The Reviews are great
Review: Since Verant is producing this game and Everquest is still the number one MMORPG on the internet, I think it is safe to say this game will be a hit. All the reviews I have read from beta testers and magazine reviewers have the best to say about the game. And from what I have read, becoming a Jedi will not be obvious in the game. You can't select Jedi at any time. You have a chance of becoming "Force Sensitive" and once this happens then the avenue to becoming a Jedi will be available--manually enabled for you by the GMs. And being a Jedi makes you PVP by everyone in the game and NPC Empire forces will be hunting you down if it is known you are a jedi. For the Dark Jedi it means everyone including other Jedi and kill you. It will be interesting to see how Verant deals with the power gamers who will spend countless hours playing to become a Jedi.

Summary: It's about time!
Review: It all started with Ultima Online. Since that game, I have loved the genre of MMORPGs. Games where it actually seemed like you weren't just wasting time, but actually accomplishing something other than "fragging" the closest breathing being, ala Quake. After years of gaming, the medieval setting, while still appealing, has lost some of it's shine to me. Looking for the same type gameplay, but in a Sci-Fi setting was all but futile untill a year or so ago. Even then, none of the titles appealed to me, and for that I am gratefull, as they all had HORRIBLE game launches.

Now, this April 15, 2003, a MMORPG set in the ultimate Sci-Fi universe (my biased opinion) will launch. It doesn't get any better than Star Wars, and from a group who has a pedigree of MMORPGs to gain experience from, all I have to say is I will be there. Will you?

Summary: Just From What I've Read
Review: Seriously, just from what i've read about this game, it looks poised to become the best mmorpg on the market. I'm currently playing Anarchy Online since it's the only real alternative to the glut of fantasy games of this genre on the market. AO is an ok game, but it still suffers from the same problems as every other mmorpg.....camping, rabid PK'ers who don't seem to understand that you don't want to pvp, and item mad power gamers who have to twink themselves silly. SW:G sounds like it could really be the alternative for those of us who want a little more from a game like this. A player based economy, player run towns, dynamic spawns, item decay, and my personal favorite.....no levels. You improve your character by improving his skills, of which I've read there will be many, from mining to animal handling, tatooing to administration. I know where i'm going to be spending lots of my time in the future.

Summary: Defining an Era
Review: I've been playing games all my life. I've seen the greats come and go. Super Mario Brothers, Doom etc.

And now here we are. Star Wars is a phenomenon like the world has never seen and due to this, the developers have put their heart and soul into this project.

Star Wars Galaxies will define an Era. Computer games will never, ever be seen in the same way again.

Summary: Simply the Best Game Ever
Review: This Gme is the number One Game. You can be any one and choose from over 40 differnt carrers you can be a cheif or a Jedi Master. Or maby you and some freinds want to colonize a moon or something. you can do that I AM NOT KIDDING WHEN I SAY THIS IS THE BEST GAME EVER i know this because I am Beta tester and i am telling you its the best game in the World for now. It will be even better when LucasArts Lunches its expainsion set wich adds space ships wich you use to travel from planet to planet and fight people There are 7 Planets Such as Naboo, Yavin etc. etc. I highly sugest buying it. I say if the unfinished work is good the the finished work must rock. If I could I would of given it more stars
