Summary: Sucks
Review: This game was too ambitious. By including so many ages, it spread itself to thin to greatly capture the essense of any particular age. The economy design is a stripped down version of Age of Empires, and it remains the same throughout every age. This game will be fun for kids, but the build build, build, attack, attack, attack game has gotten really old with me.

My rating may be biased because I prefer turn based strategy games. I just found this game to be kinda boring.

Summary: THE ONLY ISSUE IS HOSTING IN MULTIPLAYER
Review: I LIKE VERY MUCH EMPIRE EARTH -AND I LOOK FORWARD FOR THE EXPANSION-, IT HAS CERTAINLY GIVEN ME HOURS OF ENTERTAINMENT AND I AM SURE IT HAS MUCH MORE TO GIVE TO ME. THE ONLY BACKSIDE, HOWEVER, IS THAT WHEN PLAYING IN MULTIPLAYER -AND YOU SHOULD DO THIS!- HOSTING FOR ME HAS NOT BEEN POSSIBLE; I BELIEVE THE PROBLEM IS BECAUSE I OPERATE WITH WINDOWS 2000 HOME EDITION AND SOMEHOW THIS MAKES HOSTING FOR ME NOT POSSIBLE YET! REGARDLESS THE HOSTING PROBLEM, I HAVE NO PROBLEM JOINING GAMES HOSTED BY OTHER USERS.

Summary: Mearly OK
Review: Empire Earth is, in my opinion, mearly ok. Enemy AI is good (on my first try I was defeted in a half an hour by the computer set on medeum). The graphics aren't very good, most shots are just an arrow flying, a puff of smoke, a missle or progectile, or a continus beem, and most units are to light. There are no such thing as "special units" that are unique to each goverment. After 50 hours of playing it gets really borning. The campanes are ok put your view keeps getting stuck at what your soldiers would see and ,I can tell you, that is no place to fight a war. The game is big and my computer kept freezing. Consequently, it took 20 minutes to start playing.
Dispite it's shortfalls, Empire Earth has soma cool fetures. You can make your units more powerful by spending resorces improving theis cericteristics (such as range, armor, and speed)

Summary: expecting aoe with old and futuristic weaps
Review: when i bought this game i was expectin it to be like age of empires with ancient and futuristic weapons, but it was'nt. Its a good game but the new point system is just no good in multiplayer and limits the fun. On the other hand the single player is formiddable but i really wanted a cool multiplayer empire earth did'nt have it

Summary: Better then any game out there.
Review: I loved this game if you like AOE1 and AOE2 but you did not like the fact that not alot of ages then get this game it has 14 and when the expansion pack is out there will be 15. Goes from pre-nano and when the expansion pack it will have a space age. Best game i have ever play I got this game when it first came out and have not stop playing. Muilt on the web is so fun. I like it i hope you like it as much as i do can't wait for the expansion pack comes out.

Summary: Some Good points and BAD!
Review: so...this epic game...well for starters i am a game sorta freak and i love RTS games and i have played AOE 2 EXP for like...2 yrs and i love it. but then lately it got boring after 2 yrs and so...went on line looked at the latest games...say ..hey...EE (empire earth)....looks cool think il get it...so i bought it.
well...things are that they game offers really sweet ages or epoches ...14 in total and lots of units at your disposesal , something like 200.

The thing is with EE it is not really the perfect game. I mean all games have flaws but this game has lots of flaws..take system reqiurements. HIGH and costly...the GAME works best on a 128ram COMPuter or any lower and have some other programs on will seriously lag the game down with command lag or just plain slowless.

when i 1st got the game i thought: MAN this is gonna be a WICKED experience...and i thought...yeh..il master this game in 2 weeks,...well afraid not...1st the bad thing is that the COMPUTER is TOO HARD or some people call the computer AI's ...so the AI on easy is like some what on super hard and it seems to CHEAT! it finds your ONLY tiny hole in a wall...say when villigers cut a tree through a wall...the AI finds it and send like 50 guys over and CANES you out like hell.
IMMEDEATLEY you die!

because of this and the SLOW speed of the game it is ALSO IMPOSSIBLE to go from prehistoric to nano age...takes too long and i think about 16hrs if you even did...but before even the 4th age i got WHOOPED and so it is to kill or be killed...never will you go through all ages. Weird thing is some units are too pixelised and look like paper with flat solid edges and sides!

overall the game play is ok but the path finding really lacks in alot of places , like vills building them selves trapped and the only good thing to do is get rid of them ...

and the planes sometimes don't listen to you and they never move one bit sometimes which sucks! as other enemy bomb you!

overall i think i give this game a 6 and a half out of 10....
for some people that is such a unfair score but the flaws are too bad compared to AOE 2 exp which has hardly any bugs oir flaws...i can say that compared to AOE 2 exp or AOC the bugs don't exsist like every unit listens and the guys have smart path finding and all alike.
note: i am a 13 yr old gamer ...so what i say might be all wrong on this review! :D

Summary: GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: This game is great! First of all, you have the ability to zoom down to the ground and view the game in a sort of first person view (a pity that you can't rotate the camera). The second thing is that the game runs very good on even a 300mhz machine! You can make great battles and zoom in to and take some really great screenshots, .... The bad things about empire earth is the future. The units and buildings in the digital and nano age could have been better made and designed. So I think that Sierra should not have included the future, rather adding more units the the modern and past ages. I think that an expansion pack would be very welcome.

Summary: a disapointment . . .
Review: First off, let me say that I'm no rookie when it comes to RTS's.I've seen em' all,Age of Empires I and II,Starcraft,Star Wars Battle Grounds. But the main problem of the game is that it IS FAR TOO DIFFICULT. After playing the learning games, I tried a game of prehistoric to nano age.I finally got to the copper age and all the sudden like 50 enemy guys come through my carfully built wall(without destroying it) and destroy me instantly.
Sure Age of Empires II only has 4 ages and sure it doesn't have as many units, but before qunity is quility.AOE II was a far better game it had so many great factors that would be a whole other reveiw.
now, I'm just going to break it down to how I see it:
HIGHS: 14 ages,good graghics,lots of units,and the atom bomb(cool to see)

LOWS: TOO DIFFICULT,units sometimes JUST DONT LISTEN TO YOU,combat is too much of a system,(swords good vs bowmen good vs spears good vs swords)it seems if they are not good vs your enemy,THEY DIE INSTANTLY in battle, limited resources, and only 4 campains.

PERSONLY:I think if your looking for a good RTS the 4 I mentioned are great ones.Ifyour looking for a "no think" game try max payne, ghost recon, or the new medal of honor game.

BOTTOM LINE:It may be different for you...but to me this game simply was not worth the [money]...

Summary: Not Too Shabby
Review: Empire Earth is not too bad of a game. It offers an overhead view with the option of scrolling in to look at your people right in the face. It is pretty much the same as every other strategy game. You get resources and build buildings to get armies to conquer your enemies. But Empire Earth adds a new twist to the game. There are about 15 different ages spanning over 500,000 years. It starts at the Prehistoric Age and ends in the futuristic Nano Age. Of course to advance to these ages you must complete tasks like building a certain amount of buildings and getting enough resources. Empire Earth is a fun game but can get boring very quickly. It offers basic scenarios and random maps in which you choose your age and it has campaign games which has stories to them. It also has a Multiplayer, which is the only part of the game I find entertaining right now. Empire Earth is entertaining to an extent and could have been made better by a few small changes. It is pretty accurate in the history of the world, however. So overall, it is an okay game with a low tolerance rate and first time strategist game players is who I recommend it to.
