Summary: SO SWEET!
Review: FINALLY! I've been looking for a game tha has ww1 and ww2 in it and MORE that is like Age of Empires! This game is a must! I LOVE THIS GAME!

Summary: Buggy ssoftware, good game
Review: Why am I writing a review of this Christmas present the day after Valentine's Day? That is how long it took to resolve all the issues the software raised. (What I learned: don't play the game without a modem or network card. It will install but not run at all after that and will give you a blank screen instead).
The strongest point of the game is the imaginative content. It has great, great stories, graphics and campaigns.
The drawback is software that freezes more often than any other game I have ever played. A quick look at their support site will show how widespread the problems are. If you buy the game be sure to download the updates, and let's all keep our eyes peeled for any further patches that will solve the sudden freezes and "C++ run time errors."
(The cheat codes made me laugh out loud. New Englanders will know why "The Big Dig" makes resources disappear!)

Summary: INCREDIBLE!
Review: I can't believe how this game just kept me sitting on the computer for hours on end. It's the true successor to Age of Empires, but even better. Spanning through 500,000 years, and into the future, it is the most spectactular work of computer gaming art that I have ever seen. Hail Rick Goodman (again!)!

Summary: Much better than Age of Empires
Review: Empire Earth seems like it's a sequel in the Age of Empires series. Seeing as how the lead designer used to work for Ensemble the assumtion seems reasonable.

Empire Earth is a lot of game, there are 14 Epoches to progress through: and this lead to some VERY long games if you choose to allow every epoch. The single player campaigns (of which there are four) are very diverse and range in skill level. The game also comes with an amazing scenario editor.

Since Age of Empires I and II cover the same time periods as Empire's early epoches, most players will probably find the later epoches more enjoyable. All-in-all Empire Earth is an excellent game, definately worth a look.

Summary: Don't buy
Review: I was not pleased. I ordered software that I could not load. After going on the companies web site, I learned that this game was full of problems. I was very concerned that it would cause a hard drive crash after seeing the warning signs.
Before you even think of buying, go to the Sierra Studios web site to learn about all the hoops you may have to jump through before you can even begin to play.

Summary: Great and complicated game$%`!
Review: If you like any of the Age Of Empires, this is a must have game,
the graphics are pretty good but the best part about it is the Campaign Scenarios because it has everything from cavemen to laser infantry. But you have to be a very smart gamer to take this one on, and if you loose a campaign you'll get really [ticked] off at it and you wont stop playin it until your head hurts and then you go to work and cant pay atention very well.
I recomend this one to anyone that doesnt care to get a beating against the computer.

Summary: Far too difficult for the average player
Review: Empire Earth has been heralded as the true successor to Age of Empires, and perhaps it could have been. The game fails on two levels.

The first failure is the combat system. The military units represent quite literally an enhanced game of rock, paper and scissors. In this case, shock weapons trump pierce, pierce weapons trump ranged, ranged weapons trump shock... rock - paper - scissors. This is pretty silly.

The second failure is the difficulty level. There is no novice or beginer level from which to learn this game. It begins slamming you from the outset with pretty advanced computer AI that individually manages the combat units on the rock-paper-scissors scale while you manage by unit groups and the AI builds up its civilization far faster than the beginning player could hope to.

In short, this game is a stunning disappointment for the average gamer. Avoid.

Summary: GREAT GAME FOR YOUR COMPUTER!
Review: This game has no bugs in it! It never fails when I play it! Plus the campaigns are good too! World War I and II, a future Russian campaign, an ancient Greek one, and finally one on William Duke of Normandy! It's a great game!!

Summary: This game is the best game that I have ever played.
Review: This game is loaded with ation. You can go from men that throw rocks to robots that shoot rays and missles. The game gives you the ability to just build up your own civilization and protect it from enemy forces in random map mode or you can just play a campain mode. It also gives you the option of being able to create your own map or campain. This game is such a great improvment from age of empires 1 and 2. I certainly recamend this game.
