Review: 500 people were on last night duking it out. This is the most immersive WW2 game I've played. Combine games like Hidden & Dangerous, Panzer Elite, Warbirds or Aces High into one game and you're getting close.

I decided to play as a trooper for the Axis powers. I started my way to Flavion. I hopped on a passing tank with another trooper and we began riding into battle. As we neared Flavion, a Spitfire appeared overhead. Fearing the Spit would strafe us, we both hopped off and ran for the bushes. After resting up from sprinting (my stamina was low) I began running from bush to bush, constantly scanning the sky for the passing Spit. I called for air support and soon Bf109's were circling overhead and the Spit was no longer a threat.

The lead tanks had reached Flavion and were attacking the defenses. I called on the tanks for a sitrep and they gave the all clear. I again rushed from bush to bush approaching the town and resting when needed. All of a sudden tracers started flying around me. I dove to the ground and crawled behind a bush. I edged out around the bush and began taking shots at my attacker. After several shots I was hit and my blood pressure started dropping. I yelled (out loud), "Clot! Clot!" but the wound was fatal. (With a non fatal wound your wound will clot up and you'll be able to continue, albeit at reduced efficiency and with a red tinge to the screen if it's really bad).

I pulled away from the screen and calmed down. My heart was racing, and I was sweating. What a trip!

There's a 60MB patch to download, and the game still has some bugs (which is the only reason it gets a 4 and not a 5), but expect more patches soon.

This is one great simulation!

Summary: A must have for online war gamers
Review: This game promised to have it all and it just about does. There are bugs in it as almost every PC game these days however the company is working on patches everyday. This game has it all, squadrons of aircraft, men, ships, and tanks..all fought in first person on an enormous virtual battlefield that is half scale of Europe. The only reason I give it 4 starts is simply because there are still many bugs to stomp, but I highly recomend this.

Summary: Unlimited potential ....
Review: The fact of the matter is, this game is not yet released, so there is obviously no way of writing an accurate review on the "final product". However, this game looks to be revolutionary. The terrain is ever-expanding. You can be 3 classes with this release (not navy just yet). There will be CONSTANT updates, starting, most likely, from the day the game is released. That is more weapons, more terrain, more players, more speed, more compatability. The possibilities are inveitably endless.

I'd just like to say one thing about one of my favorite aspects of the game (as there are many, and I would like this review to be readable and not tedious). The terrain is like *nothing* I've ever seen before. You cant tell from the screenshots, but from beta testing, the terrain is out of this world. There are ditches everywhere, there are multi-leveled buildings all over the place, towns are really big and lifelike, and the overall graphics are fairly outstanding, given the sheer size of the battlefield. So while this game is "not yet complete", I can vouch for the fact that that is a good thing. The game is TONS of fun as is, and will only get better from here. Much ... much better.

Summary: To the gamer from Ohio
Review: Do you even know that much about this game? The other reviewers might be part of the closed-beta test. I have never played World War II Online but it looks like it will be one of the greatest massive multiplayer games there will ever be in the near future. Maybe next time before you jump to conclusions about something you will check your facts before you spread your thoughts. Now for all of you reading this as a review visit some sites and look up the game on the internet because when this game comes out it will be massive and phenomenal. You will be able to experience the world's second great war. Fight as an Infantryman, Sailor, Tanker, Pilot, and Supply personel. Don't miss you chance to experience World War II on the virtual battlefield.

Review: I have been testing this game from the early stages of developement and i can safely say this is the best MMPG on the market. If you are into World War 2, then this is the Everquest of all World War 2 games. World War 2 Online is probally going to start the next generation in Massive Multiplayer Games. Buy this and you will not regret it at all!

Summary: Has promise but doesn't look complete
Review: This game has the potential to be something great. Unfortunately it appears that the game is being rushed out the door before it is completed to a satisfactory condition.

I would wait on this purchase until the game has been released. In time it will be great, but if you want to save yourself headaches and frustration pass this up until a significant number of post release reviews are published.

The game will include infantry, tank and air operations. But the naval part of the game will not be released until sometime afterwards.

If you are looking for a simulation and first person shooter game in a persistent world environment based off of a World War 2 theme then this game might be for you. I would recommend revisiting it two-four weeks after release before deciding to buy.

Summary: not one reviewer has played it yet
Review: what a joke. i am still waiting for this game to come out, but there are 5 reviews here. hmmm, smells like little kids talking about something they know nothing about; and that is if the GAME is good or not. they seem to understand the IDEA behind the game is good, but they know NOTHING of if the GAMES ITSELF is good.

for those readign this, the game is supposed to come out around the 6th of June. do not buy it based on these "reviews", wait for it to come out and for mags to review it.

i rated it a big fat 1, to help balance out what these reviewrs have done here.
