Summary: You do already have this, don't you?
Review: Livin' Large, the first of The Sims expansion packs, is important because it adds some significant new features to the game in addition to a number of cool new items. For starters, it gives you five times as many neighborhoods to fill up with assorted sims of your choosing. If you're like me, you hate to get rid of anything you have already created and spent time on, no matter how ready for change you are. With this expansion pack, you can leave your current sim neighborhood as it is and simply start over from scratch on a blank slate. You also get five new career tracks to choose from; now you can indulge your fantasies of becoming a hacker, paranormal investigator, journalist, musician, or all-around slacker. New experiences also await your sims once they begin livin' large, including my favorite of them all, alien abduction. The 125 new items included in the expansion pack are also nice, even though virtually all of them can be downloaded from Internet; that, however, would take up precious time in which you could be playing The Sims. Computer gaming is rife with expansion packs that are really not worth the money, but Livin' Large is definitely an exception. This is an expansion pack that no serious Sims player can do without.

Summary: Rated R, but otherwise a MUST HAVE for "The Sims"!
Review: September 20, 2002
Requires "The Sims" to play. The ultimate virtual architect playground, living doll-house, decorator's dream, and control freak's paradise! Love the game expansion except for the 'love bed', the 'grim reaper', voodoo doll, crystal ball, and magic potions. But the capabilities of this pack make getting it and learning how to delete those items well worth it! You will have the ability to build in not one, but five full neighborhoods, can store tons of wallpapers and buy lots of rugs for your sim-home, and plenty of other cool things not in the original version. Of course, if you are also about to buy "The Sims", to save money you should not get "The Sims" or this one, but instead get the following "Sims Deluxe edition". Happy Simming!

Summary: Great expansion!
Review: The Sims Livin' Large expansion pack adds new things to satiate the desires of Sims addicts. LL brings new jobs, new neighborhoods, lots of new objects, and new skins. If you have to decide between Livin Large and House Party, choose Livin Large.

Summary: An absolute waste of time!
Review: Give me a break - how many of these add-on packs can they make for a game like this? It is not as though I do not have enough miniscule things to do in my own life without watching some pixillated idiot on my screen to takes 90 game minutes to go to the bathroom or do anything else. Save your money for a nice vacation somewhere else!

Summary: The best Sim game yet!
Review: The Sims didn't have engough. House Party was boring after 5 parties. Vacation was... useless. But Livin' Large has items I still use today! Now when your Sims die, you can plead to the Grim Reaper to keep them alive! There are potions that can make you fall in love, and genies that can set your house on FIRE! Make gnomes and launch rockets. Buy this game. It's worth every penny.

Summary: It made The Sims real...sort of..
Review: Livin' Large, the first expansion for The Sims...I was disappointed in some parts. But not enough to give this game less than 5 stars. I love watching my Sims ask the genie for help, or seeing them make different potions. But that's all that was added. What's next for The Sims??

Summary: A great and Wonderful Game
Review: I thought all of the additions to the game were good and I also found that the 4 new neighborhoods came in handy. There are a ton of new items, some new career tracks, and some people that will come at certain times to bring you back to life or make you very annoyed. There a ton of new skins too! (Skins are basically clothes that the Sims wear) Although you may think expansions are worthless and probably no even made by the original company that made the sims, it simply isnt. It is made by Maxis but does take up a lot of space on your computer, which is the only real downside to buying the game. And by the way, I also wrote the review on the Sims Unleashed. But didnt happen to notice that there is a kids review form. The game is also, I thought, spectacular in any way a person can think. After hours of sitting at the computer I came to like the the game more and more.

Summary: This game is SWEET!
Review: If you ever thought you were slightly bored on the original Sims, fear not! This expansion pack will provide plenty of entertainment for hours. The new furnishings and carpet are very funky and odd. There are also alot of gothic additions to everything from doors to wallpaper. There is one thing you must be careful of. That is what you download. Be sure to only download items from thesims.com (the maxis official site). Your computer will freeze if you download infected objects. At thesims.com, be sure to download the clown catcher, or you will never get the tragic clown out of your house. Be sure to get this game!

Summary: Too Addicting
Review: Beware everyone this game is extremely addicting at one point in my life it was taking up almost all of my leisure time. I would have gave it one star because of its extreme ability to make people lose their lives over this game but its such a fun game I had to give it 2.
