Summary: Great fun, but a tad dissapointing
Review: When I ordered this game, I guess I expected tons fo new features and loads of options. But when I got the game, I was let down. Well sure, the game is still great or else I wouldn't have given it 4 stars, but there are juse abunch of new objects and a few more jobs. Not any major new thing like in Unleashed or Vacation. Even with all of that dissapointment, I still loved the game. My favorite new object is the robot. He is really helpful around the house and does tons of things for you. I also liked the new modern objects. This game is still a great buy, but do not make the mistake of setting your expectations too high.

Summary: Great for any Sims Player!
Review: As all Sims players know, it can get rather boring with just the normal pack ' The Sims '. May I introduce you to livin large.
Even though this expansion pack does not offer 'Downtown', 'Old town' or 'Vacations' it is a wonderful training tool of learning the way Sims work. With more relationship options, a heck of alot more decor, and new careers this pack is essential to the completion of mastering the Sims.

One thing that is bound to help in this expansion pack is that you can make more 10 than houses. That number has now been multiplied by 5. You now can make over 50 houses, and better than ever.

Some of the new objects are sure to make a large difference in your game...

The magic lantern, other wise known as the 'Antique lamp' does indeed bring out a genie, which grants wishes. However you do not tell him what you want. He gives a choice, (for ex. Fire or Water) and the one you choose sets the spell he casts. It can be bad, it can be good. But you are taking a chance.

The love bed, or 'The Vibromatic Heart Bed'. The big buzz about this object is it enables your Sims to experience sex. This became the downside of this expansion pack to younger children. If your child is the mischievous type, I don't suggest you let them play this, or else 'the talk' could come sooner then you think.
In this bed it does give your Sims children, sometimes. But it does not change the raising process.

And my favourite object, the electric guitar. A favourite among teens, your Sims now have the chance to live their dreams of being rock stars! Giving Sims the creativity skill point, it can totally change your household. But beware, if your Sim sucks, their family and friends will boo them.

The Sims Livin' Large is definitely worth the money. I recommend it to new players, and experts that just want more stuff.

Pick it up, you will love it.

Summary: Great First Expansion Pack
Review: If you don't have The Sims: Deluxe Edition, then Livin' Large is a must-have. I have been a long time Sim fan, starting with the original, "The Sims" (before any expansion packs, console editions, or Deluxe Editions came out) and was instantly hooked. I got Livin' Large the day it came out and played for days on end. Even though, "The Sims" is the best-selling PC game of all time, a few aspects are missing. Livin' Large adds three new themes of objects to the game (retro, castle, and futuristic) and also throws in a cast of all new NPCs (non-player-characters including the Grim Reaper, Servo the robot and the Tragic Clown). In addtion, for the [money] you spend on the game, you get dozens of new skins (faces and outfits) and 50 new jobs (5 new career tracks including Paranormal, Slacker, and Journalist). Believe me, LL will add a whole new twist to your favorite PC game.

Summary: More intense, fun, and just plain better than the original.
Review: Your missing out a lot if you only have the original version. This has a lot of new items. The best is Servo the Robot. You know a maid may leave some stuff be but Servo gets everything. There is a lot of new furniture. There is a love bed now. Where your sims can do you know what.

Some people may critizize how not real it is. I agree with those people but it's still really fun. About 50% of the new features and hazards don't exist in real life (like the grim reaper) but oh well. Those features that make the game more fun.

WARNING: This game is rated T. It's rated T for a lot of reasons. One thing is that it's very intense at points. The burglar's music may scare little kids. There are deaths in fires and drowning. The grim reaper may come after that and make another very intense moment. There are also ghosts after somebody dies and the music is sort of intense. There is also some sex. Don't buy for kids 8 and under.

Summary: A great add-on for a great game!
Review: This game is an amazing add-on for the sims! You can be warped up into space by aliens, rub a genie lamp, be payed a visit to the grim reaper! Don't forget the magic chrystal ball, the infamous potion lab, and lets not forget the "Servo Robot!" This game features over 125 objects, 5 wacky career tracks, and various wacky themes including future, tacky and medievil. Have fun in the love bed or let your sim enjoy the balconies of his medi-evil castle! This game is absoulutely fantastic!

Summary: good but not great
Review: Livin' Large was good if you were looking for themes and decorating ideas.Advancing game play, not so much. However, if you don't mind cheats, there are sites well worth your while.

Summary: I love all the expantion packs but this one is GREAT!!!
Review: This is a really good exp (expantion pack) it isn't hard on your computer and for there first exp I love it!
It's all about themes like Si-Fi or Fantisy you can build a cassl and make trap doors under carbets and no burgeler or smoke alarms do you want the Sims in it to be innocent but scared or scarey?
Do you want to make them a Mad Scientist?

There are a lot of themes you can make.
For a Si-Fi house you can buy Servo ( A house robot) to clean repaire cook etc and place metel floor tiles and walls to make your house look like a space ship!
There are love themes, Si-Fi themes, junky themes, and even themes you can make up your self!

There are new NPC's (Or Characters you can not crontrol) like The Grim Reaper and Sunny (A tragic clown)
But get deluxe it comes with this plus The Sims (TM) and some other stuff.

But I have to say with-out this it wouldn't be in deluxe!

I theme that I made up is the Craze-Fi where you can keep Servo but forget all that rough metel.
If there was a choice to have more then 5 stars I will take it.

Happy Simming! :-)

Summary: Fun at first
Review: Acording to me, all of 'The Sims' games are fun and entertaining at first then after a month or so it gets a bit too slow.

Summary: Good game
Review: This game was a very fun game. For begginers all you have to do is make your people in a good mood. But what I really like about it,is that it's like you are controlling your own life.It is a great game.It is funny how they get married and how they have a baby.In the bed they just appear as a big lump, and in the hot tub they just go down. When the kid pops up this little colered blocks come up.But all I have to say is this game is very fun.You should buy it right away.It took me fore ever to get this game and all the rest. And let me tell you it was worth the wait!

Summary: Livin' Large in okay, but.......
Review: I love the idea of this game! It is very cool, the only thing I dislike about this game is a particluar object, which has a strong sexual theme. I DO NOT recomend this game for children under 13! If your child is intrested in the sims series, the original Sims is great! Please DO NOT buy this for younger children!
Thanks!
