Summary: An incredibly weird addition!
Review: The Sims: Livin' Large is just what everyone needs. It adds five new job tracks. It also added really weird stuff like a lamp that has an unexperienced genie, a chemistry set that can change you in different ways, a crystal ball to improve personalities, and a whole lot more! New wallpaper and floors are added, as well as new doors and windows. With this expansion pack, you can make houses and families with a theme, such as medieval, futuristic, weird, romantic, etc. In the expansion pack, you control five different neighborhoods, instead of one. Overall, this game is excellent. I recommend it for just about anyone.

Summary: If you love The Sims, the expansion pack is a must!
Review: I was just starting to get bored with The Sims when I got this Expansion Pack, and my interest came flooding back. This pack offers so many cool things. My favorites include a genie lamp (different things happen every time your Sim rubs it -- some good, some bad), a voodoo doll (want to get a Sim in a bad mood, and fast? Nothing does it quite like a punch in the head), and a laboratory table, where your little Sim can concoct potions, drink them, and watch their life go straight down the tube (or they just might get an evil clone.) With the expansion pack, your Sim can also be abducted by aliens, make a garden gnome with their spiffy new workbench, or put a bush shaped like a dolphin on their front lawn. My complaint, however, is that while this pack offers lots of new stuff (I especially love the new floors, wallpapers, windows, and doors), it just doesn't have enough. I'm so picky. I just hope that Maxis comes out with a second expansion pack. Here's what I'd like to see: some new tables (small ones would be great), an invisible door (a door with, maybe, a very thin outline that makes it hard to see, but it's still technically door. I love to make houses with secret passageways and this would make it cool. Or what would also be cool is a door that has a bookshelf on the front so no one realizes it IS a door.), some new telephones, some new toys for young Sims (maybe some wooden blocks), more pets (the Expansion Pack offers a hamster but I'd like to see birds and lizards, if possible.), more roof patterns, a waterslide and floaty toys for the pool, and . . . hmm, what else? A vending machine would be awesome. Also, a desk set, with paper and pencils, where a Sim could write a note to a fellow Sim, either a love letter or a hate note, and that would create a reaction. I also wish there was the ability to get married to a Sim already living in the house (so far this has proved impossible.) It also is not possible to marry a Sim who lives in another house that currently holds a baby. They sure do think of everything! Other features of this Expansion Pack include the grim reaper (cheat death!) and I also heard you can get a ghost when a Sim dies, although that has yet to happen to me. Anyway, I would definitely recommend the Expansion Pack if you have The Sims and are kind of getting bored with it. If you hate the original game, then the Expansion Pack probably won't make you change your mind toward the series. Another thing I'd advise is to buy the Expansion Pack after you've had The Sims for a while, so you can truly appreciate all the Expansion Pack has to offer. Yet, I beg them to make another Expansion Pack. Bring it on! PS: In order to run this game you must first have the original Sims installed. You'll be using the CD from the Expansion Pack to run the entire game from then on. No switching CDs back and forth. Yay!

Summary: Great Expansion to an already superb game
Review: This expansion pack makes the game of the Sims even more fun than it already is - with many more jobs to choose from, and many more fun & evil things you can do to your little people. You have even more incentive to keep your sims happy due to the Clown - who arrives if your Sims' fun & social meters are particulary low. The clown is depressing, makes your sims even more upset, (though slapping him around can make them feel better). Though there is still room for much more improvement in this game. I wouldn't mind seeing more pets, different seasons of the year including holidays. The Sims is a great game and anybody who owns it should not hesitate to get this expansion.

Summary: Best game ever
Review: This game is THE best game in the world. It has endless play. I got this game as a christmas present after opening presents I went up to the computer to try it this was at 9:00 next thing I knew it was 3:00 in the afternoon. I was so facinated by the graphics and realism of this game. They can do just about anything you can do.Thisgame is rated Mature but I think it should be rated Everyone cuz I think everyone should play this game. I highly recomend this game to anyone.

Summary: A little frustration, A lot of fun!
Review: This game is lots of fun. It is a great add-on to the original game. However, there are a few objects that come with precautions. The Genie lamp, for example. Before using it, please install a smoke detector in every room. He has an annoying habit of setting your house on fire. I spent 10,000 sim "dollars" on a room, Poof! Gone. Most of the things you download to your game are already in the expanion pack. However, please get this pack, if you already have the game. It is quite enjoyable.

Summary: I LOVE THE SIMS!
Review: The Sims Livin' Large is the best expansion pack ever. All the new features make the game even better. I loved The Sims, and when I noticed Livin' Large for [the money] I had to buy it. When I loaded it on I ended up playing it forever! My Dad couldn't get me off the computer. My favourite new things are the Potion Kit (I love seeing what happens to the sim), The Crystall Ball (Changes your sim's personality) and the stuff you can put on your walls. I even got this cool download off the net to make your own pictures. I put pictures of 5ive, S Club 7 etc in my sim's homes. It's fun. You should buy this. Even the vibromatic bed is cool. I like making the sims get it on. I'm 13, and it's super fun for me. Well 5 stars is what I'm giving it!

Review: The game is very fun but I must say is a little vulger. It could have been just a little more sanitery. It was very cool though.

Review: The only great thing in the expansion pack is that you have more neighborhoods to work with, which means you can make more houses. (But beware-- you can't call Sims in different neighborhoods). Apart from that, there are some new objects, but most of them are ugly or lame. I say don't waste your money. Oh and the expansion pack puts disgusting roaches in your house TOO OFTEN. I hate having to spray the roach infestation every 5 minutes.

Review: The Sims Livin' Large is a great add-on for The Sims. There are new carrer tracks like musician, journalist, and hacker. There are also more items you can buy like a vibrating bed, electric guitar, and there more wallpaper to choose from. Another cool feature is buying a robot to help around the house. Kinda like the maid on the Jetsons! Finally there are more neighborhoods to build houses on. This is a great add-on. One word of advice when making wishes with the magical lamp be careful...

Summary: The best just got better
Review: Much as I adore The Sims, this add-on makes it that much better! There are new people, new clothes, new furniture (thank goodness!) including a vibrating bed o' love where your Sims can get frisky...in a properly private way, of course. There are new professions and all manner of bizarre additions that I'm not even going to try to explain because 1) I doubt I could do them justice and 2) You really need to find out for yourselves.I loaded this up the day I got it in the mail, and spent many happy hours playing with it. I have had not a moment's trouble with it on a system that's just about two years old now. (Pentium II, 400MHz, 128M RAM) The pack addresses a number of concerns, requests and complaints aired by Sims fans. Let's hope EA continues to improve this amazing game.
