Summary: WHY IS IT SOOO SLOW!
Review: I'm a fifteen year old kid who has completely mastered the "Roller Coaster Tycoon" games. They are easy and very challenging and entertaining. Any way, last christmas, my mom and dad bought this for me thinking that it would be the perfect gift. Welllll, I was so excited and I popped it right into my computer. It took about a half an hour to install, and when I finally got it installed, the game stalled for about 3 seconds almost every second. I was sooooooo frusturated. I put it back in the box and took it back to the store and told them that they gave me a broken CD and demanded that they should exchange it for a new copy of Sim Theme Park. Well that in itself wasted me about three hours. So I took it home and it took another half hour to install. So would some one pleaaasssseee tell me why the game still stalls. I went on almost every single wwebsite that dealt with technical support for Sim Theme Park. That wasted about 15 days. My Simtheme Park CD is sitting in its box with cobwebs and dust covering it.

Review: i bought this game in the shop,thinking it waz great (im a big fan of SIM gamez).first of all,the game had no manual or player guide,and the readme file waz difficult to understand.Second bummer:it took me one hour to install the game.Third bummer it took me 3 months to get in the game itself.Bummer 4: no sound.that is weird,the options sed that sound waz on!Bummer 5: 3d! Forget it ! 2d! Bummer 6:i lost in exactly 27,5 seconds,freezing my computer. Stick to simcity or something.

Summary: Rolloer Coaster Tycoon is better
Review: Hi, I am 9 years old and really like to play computer games. I asked my mom to get me rollerCoaster Tycoon but she got this game instead. My friend has Roller Coaster Tycoon and it is cool and easy to use. This game is hard and it keeps getting stuck and my Dad has to shut it off and put it back on. My Mom finally bought me Roller Coaster Tycoon and it is much better than this game. If your son wants a game buy him Roller Coastyer Tycoon, not Sim Them Park.

Summary: Decent game but lacks certain qualities
Review: This is by no means a horrible game. After playing rollercoaster tycoon and then simtheme park, well simtheme park has lost a lot. It is not as easy as rct and not as addictive, but it is a decent game to play. But if you have played rct then trust me this will NOT be too much fun.

Summary: I can't get it to work!
Review: Okay, I absolutely loved the old sim theme park game, so I figured I'd treat myself to the new fancy-shmancy version. Yeah. right. This stupid game won't work on my computer! You need to have a CERTIFIED DRIVER to work it, and many computers (or at least of ppl i know) don't have this. It crashes my computer constantly, and I can't figure out how to make it compatible with my system. btw, any suggestions for this problem would be greatly appreciated! thanks!

Summary: Uninspired
Review: Well there's a lot of ways this game could have been fun, IF only they had tried to put more into it, ok it says on the front box that you can chose from 4 different types of parks, In reality all the parks are the same, just different animation, they all have a feris wheel, flying bird thing, ect... The little talking advisor cannonball in the corner is insanely inoying, and yet they make it so that you HAVE to have him to play the game, other wise you'll not be able to get to problems in time. I mean are programers IDIOTS? Do they think that a little cannonball making bad jokes and talking in the most annoying voice you have ever heard is what we really want to have as an advisor? And why do they animate the kids and everything in the cut sceens so unrealistic and stupid looking? In almost every game programers feel that they need to make humans look as stupid as possible, why? Its not funny, it demotes the animators intelegence. Anyways the only thing thats really good about it is that you can ride your own roller coasters, and you can turn the little cannonball guy off! Although it will be harder to manage without him.

Summary: Good but need 3d card
Review: The game is great once you have a good 3d card. I had a 4 meg card and had to upgrade to 16 meg one, now it runs good. Buy the game if you like the theme or sim line of games.

Summary: Quite Confusing and Complicated
Review: I ordered this and returned it. I found it very complicating to navigate around. You have to train the staff...like that is kinda too elaborate. The view from looking down at your park makes it hard to build a roller coaster at tall heights. That pesky cannon ball shaped assistant keeps talking too much. I recommend Roller Coaster Tycoon because it is a very user friendly interface, thats elaborate and detailed, but still simple and easy to use .

Summary: Find a demo before you Buy!
Review: I was really excited when this first came out and could not wait to get it. ONce it arrived, I was pretty disappointed and frankly, was surprised that it came from the same people as SimCity! The game is slow and choppy. You can only start in one of two "parks" before going on. I tried, really tried to like it but have not touched it since. Try to find someone who has it or a demo to see and play before you pay the price.
