Summary: A must Have!
Review: I just bought this game and it is really fun! I've bought 2 cats so far and I'm gonna get even more! I'm also gonna buy a dog. Anyway, I'll tell you about the game now. You can buy cats, dogs, iguanas, turtles, birds, and giant parrots. The animals are like your sims! They have their own personalities and their own friendships! There are lods of colors and types of cats and dogs to choose from! And, you can breed your animals! I'm going to breed my 2 cats once they become good friends!! And, pets aren't the only new thing in the Sims Unleashed; there's also more sims to be, more clothes, more items, more options to choose from, you can have a farm, and a lot more! Also, stray pets roam free outside in your yard. One time, a stray cat named Astranola came roaming in my house to play with my cats!! I would DEFINATLY recommend this game to you!!

Summary: From someone who's actually played it...
Review: ...P>I got the game yesterday, and installed it last night. I encountered a few glitches; for example, when I started up the game, all my Sims were lying on the floor (they got up as soon as I unpaused the action). One of my Sims was naked and remained so throughout the trip to the pet adoption center, although he put his clothes back on as soon as the family got home and nobody seemed offended by his exposure. I also had to rehire the gardener and the maid, though it took me longer to notice this one. Unleashed also runs noticeably more slowly than the Sims on my 800 MHz laptop, and I managed to crash it after about an hour of play. That was okay, though, because it had saved when the family got home, so I still had my cats, and I was able to do a few things right that I hadn't the first time (pssst.... kitties need a food dish, just like people need a refridgerator. Buy it in the Miscellaneous category of items).

This is the only Sims expansion pack I have, and so far I'm satisfied with it. There's more game here than I'll have time to play for quite a few weeks, I'm sure. The cats are a joy, playing like crazy until their energy bar is totally red and then zonking in their little cat beds. They're happy all the time and don't mind sharing a dish. I love 'em! I may have to kill off a Sim though, as I'm finding the management of 3 sims and 2 kitties to be a bit much.

Summary: Awesome!
Review: This game is AWESOME!! It's truely the ultimate sim. In this busy world of games, it's rather hard to find a suitable and calming sim game. But here it is - The best sim of all time. With pets, many new jobs (including owning a market), and of coruse, a downtown. It's all the "old" expansions molded into one super-game. You should get it! It's totally awsome!

Summary: Ultimate Sim
Review: This game is AWESOME!! ~Not buying this game would be HORRIBLE!~ This is the best sim that will ever come out. No one or any company could make a game this good. Neighborhoods, Markets, new occupations, and almost everything from other sim games molded into one super-sim. BUY IT TODAY!!! THERE IS NO BETTER SIM!! IT RULEZ!!

Summary: Worth the [money]
Review: Ok, first off, I must say that I've not played (or purchased) all of the Sims expansions with the exception of Hot Date, but I just had to get Unleashed right when it came out! How is it, you ask? It's fun, but a bit frustrating. I was thinking that you would have more control over what the animals are doing, but so far, all I am able to get them to do is to "go here".

One of the aspects of this new addition to The Sims series that I really like is that you can use your old characters, whereas before, you couldn't incorporate them into the new situations. The neighborhoods are much larger than I would have expected, which is nice, but there is always more going on than what you can see.

Overall, I think that this is well worth the [money] that I spent on it.

Summary: well. its sorta ok
Review: the sims is an over rated game, i could only play it for a week or two before i got sick of it and stopped. its a good concept however and it would be nice to see a fp feature or somehting that makes it sligtly more interesting. or how bout this maxis, a halloween expansion pack, new deaths, hazards, rabid animals. the game is boring, spice it up.

Summary: The Sims have done it again!
Review: Yes, it's another Sims expansion. I stared playing the Sims about 2 years ago, and i can tell you what a great game it is. It's fun, entertaining, and also a bit educational. Building houses and stores and furnishing them can bring out a lot of architectural creativity in you. You can also create families to live in the houses. After you build a couple of houses, you can even have neighbors come over. With each new expansion pack comes a new set of things. The first expansion pack was livin large. It's added many great features such as many new jobs, objects, and NPCs. The second expansion pack was house party. This allowed you to purchase DJ booths and dance floors, and throw a big party at your place. I was really looking forward to this before it came out, but wasn't too impressed with it after playing it. It dosen't have as many new features, but if you like to download a lot of objects from the internet, like i do, then i suggest u get all the expansion packs because many objects require such expansion packs. The third expansion pack was hot date. This was on of the exceptionally best expansions pack for the Sims. It has LOTS more objects and a new downtown area where you can take your wife, or if your single, u can meet up with new Sims. The fourth expansion pack was vacation. This expansion wasn't bad, but i did expect batter. This expansion had a new vacation area. So, if your Sims have a lot of money, you can take them on vacation for a few days to either a snowy, cold place, a campground, or the beach. And last but not least there's "the Sims Unleashed" I just purchased this item and i am loving it. It's got everything i expected. You can now build so much more on your lot, and you can to go pet shops and buy a pet of your choice, you can train it, and even teach it tricks. There's also a gardener store. Here you can buy seeds to plant your own crops. Over all, i give the Sims 5 big golden stars!!!

Summary: This Expansion is Incredible
Review: I've had the game a few hours and I'm simply amazed. For the last expansion pack (Vacation), I said it was the best one yet. Well, scratch that. Unleashed is, by far, the best expansion.

OBJECTS
Here's the rundown on some of the new objects:

• New skins
• New NPCs
• New floors and walls
• One new sofa (looks velvety)
• New garden-type furniture (table, chairs and bench)
• As far as tables and counters, just a few new ones
• A couple of new pictures
• New decorations such as the Geranium Flower Stand (very nice) and Neptune's Sorrow Iron Fountain
• The only thing new as far as appliances would be the two pantries where you can store the crops you harvest. The pantry basically functions as a refrigerator if you have enough crops.
• There's a new bathtub/shower combo and a toilet stall.
• There are a couple of new light fixtures, one being the "No Rustle" Ceiling Fan.

PET OBJECTS
The core of this game is, obviously, about the pets. So mainly, the new objects are for your pets. They are:

• Classic Goldfish Bowl
• Pet PlaCater (food bowl for dogs and cats)
• Scratcheriffic Scratching Post
• Love in a Cage (Birdcage for small birds)
• Dura-Bean Pet Bed (Fleece-looking pet bed)
• Timid Turtle Action Playset
• Annapurna Pet Feeder (fancier food bowls for dogs and cats)
• Dunginator 9000 (nice-looking kitty litter box)
• Happy Paws Cuddle Sack (Another dog/cat bed)
• Critter Condo (red doghouse)
• Shag Spyer (big playset for cats - cats can also sleep in it)
• Persian Plush Pet Bed (very royal-looking pet bed)
• Squeak-EE-Clean Pet Tub (got to wash and dry those dogs!)
• Pad Prolifique (Roman-looking doghouse)
• Crake's Cabinet (for those awards your pet will win at the pet shows - my dog brought home the "booby prize" because he bit the judge!)
• Mr. Beau - A cockatoo and one of the two pets you can purchase in "Buy Mode" - as opposed to going to the pet adoption center)
• Forgotten Jungle Terrarium - A house for your iguanas
• Speaky Scarlet - A macaw and the other bird you can purchase in buy mode
• Feline Funinator - Another cat play system
• The Aviary - a huge bird cage for lots of birds

Game play is wonderful. A lot of people are saying their game loads faster now and the same goes for me.

PETS
There are 12 types of cats and 12 types of dogs you can get. You can play fetch, hug, pet, teach them tricks.

You can teach them to sit & stay, jump, etc. I've heard that the pets can jump up on the sofas and beds, but mine haven't yet.

It is hilarious to watch what they go off and do on their own. You can't control them like you can your other Sims. One of my Sims tried to call her new dog. The dog walked the other way.

You can also teach your pets to greet your Sim when they come home from work. The dog or cat will come running to the edge of the sidewalk where your Sim has just gotten out of the car and the Sim will reach down and pet the dog or cat.

My dog was unhappy because my Sim wasn't playing with him so he dug up the garden! Then my Sim tried to pet him and got bitten. The dog also fought a raccoon and chased him away.

A skunk sprayed my dog but the skunk wouldn't leave. So a notice popped up saying my Sim could call Animal Control and for 20 simoleons, they would come and take the skunk away.

Pets go with you to Old Town and on Vacation but they don't go downtown. When they do go with you, they'll find other pets to play with, they'll go to sleep or they'll simply explore.

One thing I've noticed (that's a bit of a pain) is that when your Sim is at home, there can be a lot of strays on your lot. I've even had stray cats and dogs come in the house. Your Sim can "Shoo" the dog or cat but I've also noticed some of these dogs digging holes in my Sim's yard.

STUFF FOR YOUR PETS
Besides the objects you can purchase in "Buy Mode," you can go to Old Town and purchase treats, collars and toys. The toys part is a little deceiving, though. You give the toys to the dog or cat and then they disappear (just like when you give one Sim a gift). So it's not like your dog is going to run around the house with his squeaky toy.

The cool part about the collars is that you can buy all sorts of different colors of collars (even a spiked collar). When you're ready to give it to your cat or dog, you actually put the collar on them and it stays there on your pet!

NEIGHBORHOOD
The new neighborhood screen is unbelievable. You now have 40 lots to play with instead of 10 from the main screen. You can also zone these as community or residence so if you'd rather have a house where a community lot is, just rezone. This is also a good way to combine your Sims from other neighbordhoods into just one.

Maxis included a lot of pre-made lots. So if you're not one that likes to build new lots, you'll have plenty of lots to play with.

CAREERS
You also have five new careers to play with. They are:

Fashion
You start off as a department store clerk

Education
You start off as a playground monitor

Animal Care
You start off as a dog walker

Culinary
You start off as a dishwasher

Circus
You start off as a popcorn vendor

GARDENING
You can purchase seeds or vegetables in Old Town. Go home and plant the seeds (green beans, lettuce, tomatoes or carrots).

A bunny keeps eating my carrots. Keep an eye on your crops because you need to weed, water and harvest your crops.

GENERAL
The new interactions and animations are what make this game a must-have. Everything from the palm reader to the dogs that chase the paper girl.

This is rumored to be the last expansion pack. If so, Maxis will be closing on a good note. This expansion will definitely keep dedicated Simmers busy!

Unfortunately, this review only scratches the surface of Unleashed. There's too much to tell and not enough space!
