Summary: What A Dissapointment
Review: As a video game player who owns all of the Warcraft, and Starcraft games, this one is the least satisfying. Though there is some improved graphics, the storyline movies are more cartoonish and childlike. I would also prefer improved resoloution. As for the play of the game. It is more difficult to control armies, and the town size limit is too small. This is the first of the series that in which I did not finish the campaign, and lost interest in the game in the first month.

Review: First off I would like to say that this game is by far the second best blizzard game EVER..only topped by the godlyness of starcraft... Now lets get down to business...I have owned this game since th day after if came out, and I am still LOVING ME..the storyline is WONDERFUL, and graphics are STUNNING, and music is WONDERFUL it is just great...with the added RPG heros/items thing makes the game even more exciting and the battle.net ladder system, where you get levels as you win your way up the ladder it one of the greatest ideas I have ever seen...BUY THIS GAME! BUY IT NOW!! CLICK THE BUY BUTTON!!

Summary: Graphics - awesome; Gameplay - stolen from Age of Empires?
Review: The graphics for this game leave little to complain about. It is way above average. In fact, the main driving force for me has been to move to the next episode simply to relish the new scenes!! While the game offers great eye-candy, Warcraft is a slightly enhanced version of Age of Empires. It is not turn-based but moves at a reasonable pace, just like AOE. You make buildings using minions just as you would in AOE with very similar groups of people, research, and building types. This game is not for the ones with slow mouse-click responses - things get out of control in a jiffy. In a melee, it is next to impossible to control the individual units fast enough, so the action control buttons on these are practically useless - stay back and pray that your entire team does not get slaughtered. The only player I found myself frantically controlling in the battles is the hero (Arhaus?) since he has the ability of "healing" some of the dying partners. The story is intersting and quite gripping (or you go for the escape key!). The manual is very well written and may take you quite a while to get through. The game's first mission acts as a tutorial and does an excellent job of getting you up to speed (some more learning required though). The game is worth possesing. I'd recommend you check out Heroes IV too if you like similar storyline, but are looking for a turn-based relaxed gameplay.

Summary: Awesome Movies!
Review: You will like the game just when you start installing. The picture of the Orc is overwhelming. When you start the game a movie will start to play, when you finish some chapters other movies will play... I can't believe that man can create such incredible stuff! Looking at Arthus' clothing and sword, when he was listening to his father's LAST words just before killing him, is enough to know that Blizzard worked VERY hard on the movies; which are hard to believe they are man-made! The game is not bad, it is easy -save for the last couple of chapters.
Try it. It is amusing and I tried to spend as much time as I can playing it. I had a good time.

Summary: Blizzard disappoints
Review: In all of my time spent gaming, I have never seen more hype surrounding the release of a video game than with Warcraft III. I suppose it would be difficult for any product to live up to that kind of hype, but I was especially disappointed by Warcraft III. I never have been a huge fan of the Warcraft series, but decided to give this one a try based on how awesome it sounded. Unfortunately, it fails to deliver. The game comes with steep system requirements, and I don't really see why. The graphics are good, don't get me wrong, but I don't really think they show the improvement in technology they should since Blizzard's last game, Diablo II. Also, W3 doesn't have the addictive power that is such a trademark of Blizzard games. I was entertained at first, but have gotten bored of the game now. It is still a very impressive game, but in the opinion of this one gamer, it fails to deliver in the areas which make Blizzard stand out. Always hoping for Starcraft 2,

Summary: I'm a harsh grader
Review: WCIII is really a good game. I slightly upgraded an old PII 400 Dell by adding a 32 Meg ATI 7000 card (about the best the old motherboard would support), and the game plays with no slowdown. I was surprised because I'm below minimum system specs, but it still plays fine. I even play it in high resolution. By contrast my Dune 3D game, which has lesser stated requirements than WCIII, plays with many slowdowns. Even when the screen is not full of units it has problems. I think Blizzards refinement process wants players to experience near perfect gameplay. This game will play passibly I believe on half the specs they quote as minimum. The downsides: What happened to the ships and the sea battles? While they exist as models there is no mission which includes them. Next, the tax system needs some adjustment, and there is a need for more heros. There were games in WCII where I could use as many as five or six heros, you never get more than two in this game, unless they are computer controlled. I thought that was supposed to be the point or this game, RPG action. The game scenerios could also use a number of large map RPG explorer missions, to emphasize that part of the game.

Summary: Not what I expected
Review: I have every single game from blizzard and i believe that this is one of the worst ones. It has a few annoying features like 90 food supply. which makes for small armies and it has an Upkeep feature that really ... I thought that the game was way to easy. i beat the entire campaign without losing once. Way to easy. It also did not take very long to do it.
The game also was not very orginal i thought that it was pretty much the same as WarcraftII just with better graphics

Summary: Gameplay has been done before. No real innovation.
Review: This game is nothing more than a remake of warcraft 2. If it weren't for the new graphics I'd call it an expansion pack. The main flaw in this games gameplay is the fact that almost every strategy is based upon massing units. If you're not good at constantly queing up units you're doomed. Very little micro is required in this game. Other than knowing how to constantly produce units your best bet for winning is memorizing the various abusive strategies that are based on this games many imbalances. There is one upside to this game and that is the map editor. It allows you to edit just about everything about the game with relative ease. I spend almost all my time playing custom mods that aren't even similar to the actual game. If you want a real RTS that's innovative and has strong gameplay and an emphasis on tactics get Battle Realms.

Summary: This game kicks!
Review: I've been a veteran Warcraft player ever since the first and I must say that this game blew me away. For the most part, it's a lot easiser to navigate that the first two, and it has an incredible storyline. For those of you who haven't ever played a Warcraft game before, I would recommend at least trying Warcraft II before this one. Otherwise it will take you a while to get used to it. Also it was an excellent blend of RPG and strategy. I must admit I was skeptical of it at first, but it's not too much RPG, but leave that fun of the broadness to it.
