Rating: Summary: The sims vacation Review: In The Sims Expansion Pack you can rough it out in a tent or play it safe with a hotel. With new wallpaper and other great stuff you can make your sims dream house or imprison them in a rundown shack.
Rating: Summary: A great break for you AND your sims! Review: Looking for something new and fun to do with your Sim Family? Never fear, you can take them on a little Sim vacation!Kids are often shortchanged in the regular Sim play - you're focussed on the parents, on building up their careers and making the house nice. Just like in real vacations, this is time to kick back, relax and enjoy quality family time. The vacation is a vacation for you, the player too. You're not quite a busy taking care of every little need, you're not worrying about friends or timetables. You're having fun! There are neat games to play, fun characters to interact with, new scenery to look at! Perhaps your only concern is ... running out of money. Just like real life! You can camp. You can ski. You can even fish! You can find fun things to bring back home with you, to remind you of your time on vacation. On the downside, if you have a guest, that guest is completely brainless. You can't help them take care of their needs, and they rarely do it well on their own. So your guest will be miserable. It's probably best to leave them at home :) A well deserved break for both your sims AND you
Rating: Summary: Holidays-Don't you just hate them? Review: Sleep in hotels, eat a little food at buffet tables, fiddle with a few prize machines.Big deal.
Rating: Summary: The Best of the Best! Review: Whoever said the Sims couldnt get any better was sooo off the mark!! With the Sims vacation, you can bring entire households from the home, and stay in a great hotel that you built yourself. With 3 new themes, you can build to suit any style. Country, tropical, and western are added to the mix of already great items. Wether you like building the Sim's lives or building their homes, you will enjoy this expansion pack!!

Rating: Summary: Good but not great Review: If you truly love The Sims, then buy this expansion pack. And even if you like the Sims, buy it. But if you haven't been thrilled with the past expansion packs, then you won't be with this either. Vacation provides a new way to meet people and spend time, but there are several set backs. If something goes wrong on your area of vacation while a family is there, you have to send the entire family back home and fix it, then bring 'em back. People will wander into your hotel room uninvited. If you ask some one from a different family on vacation with you, they'll never go to the bathroom or do anything that you want them to do because you can't control them. But it is fun. You can play games for tickets and turn them in for prizes, then display them in a case. Kids can finally get different pajamas and bathing suits. Plus the people you meet on Vacation island have real last names, not just Townie like in Hot Date. I like it, and it's a good addition to the game series
Rating: Summary: 2nd best Review: I would have to say that this is the second best obviously cos sims unleashed is the best. It is still really good though.
Rating: Summary: Your Sims will need one..... Review: The Sims: Vacation is probably the best Sims expansion pack to date. I recently bought it and I was extrememly impressed. If your Sims are extremely diisgusted and bored, have them get away from it all and go on vacation! Just pick up the phone, and your vacation cab (which looks more like a Jeep) will pick you up immediately. You can choose to either go for sand & sun on the beach, "roughin' it" in the woods, or staying in a lodge on the ice-capped mountains. With going on a vacation, you will meet new NPC's -- the Shark, Archie the Archer, the Yeti, and the Vacation Instructor (who will answer all of your vacation questions). Plus their will be new "neighbors" that you will meet only on vacation. After you get home, you can call them up and invite them to your house! You can also get souvenirs for participation (I think) and put them on a souvenir shelf at your house. Overall S:VEP gets a 5/5.
Rating: Summary: Not the must-have I expected... Review: I am a total Sim-addict, and never seem to get enough of playing The Sims with all of the other expansion packs. However, this one leaves me disappointed. Perhaps I am just too accustomed to "the comforts of sim-home", and the vacation island does not fulfill my sim's needs all that well. It only took playing it twice to master it and get the special vacation award, which my sims didn't even seem to care about anyway! It takes up an awful lot of additional computer memory, and really taxes my video card's abilities as well; and frankly just isn't worth the trade off....as opposed to all the other expansion packs, which I would sacrifice even my Word program to play, thank goodness I don't need to! For a gamer that can afford to do so, get a mega computer with 512 RAM memory and sim all you want... or get a second computer, and dedicate it for your Sims!
Rating: Summary: Such a pain.......... Review: First of all, this game is way too slow! Just like the other people said, it takes about 5 minutes to enter the game. I've never wait THAH long to load a game! Second, this game can easily cursh your computer. Such a pain...... And at last, this game doesn't really have many new interesting features. You already know what it has in the advistisment. Only a few new characters, and vacation spot. That make me a bit disappointed. Well, this game may sound fun at first, but I don't really likt it as much as the other expension packs. I rather go to downtown then to vacation......
