Rating: Summary: The sims vaction Review: This expansion provides a great way to improve the sims life and relationships. Some vacation spots are better than others, but if you plan on starting a sim family a vaction is the best place to begin.
Rating: Summary: Not the Direction I Want to Play With My Sims Review: You know what I love about The Sims? I enjoy builing houses and adding furniture as my income increases. I also enjoy enhancing my Sims skills and advancing them in their jobs. I do not enjoy just watching them interact so that I can "play house." Because of that, The Sims Vacation was the last expansion I bought because it disappointed me for the same reasons the Hot Date expansion did. I'm sure there are people that love to role-play their Sims in new downtown districts (i.e. Hot Date) or hotel resorts (i.e. Vacation) but I found both of those additions boring. It's already hard enough to keep all the Sims hygiene, social and other tabs updated, and it becomes even more difficult when you take your Sims on vacation. Sure, it's interesting for a few minutes to watch your Sims ride an attraction or another expansion feature but it's not what made the game fun for me in the first place. I would only recommend this expansion for the diehard fans of The Sims series. I'd check out The Sims Unleashed or The Sims Superstar expansion packs (the two most recent expansions) first because they seem to focus on normal gameplay enhancements instead of the "side attractions" that make up The Sims Vacation or The Sims Hot Date. Of course, if you only want new decorations and furniture, Vacation adds it own fair share of the normal expansion extras. Honestly, I'd wait for the next deluxe edition that packages several expansions together. With the upcoming sequel, you can expect some good deals as The Sims tries to repackage all sequels for one last sales push. Or you can just wait for the sequel which will be out in a few months and has the same gameplay but much better graphics.

Rating: Summary: i gave it a three to a four star rating...... Review: I put 3 stars for the rating but I really think that it's a 3 to 4 star rating because it's neat for a while and it's a good expansion pack, but I feel that they could have, and should have, added more and made more options. The vacation options that you have though are quite fun for a while. You can snowbaord and go to the beach and camp out. It's not really that much to do though. I played it for an hour and then got bored of it. All of the other expansion packs I played for a longer then that and i continue to like them. And now the only things I really use from the vacation pack are the new items. Everything like the vacation stuff I don't use unless a friend comes over and they wanna try it. Good luck with Sims and I know lots of cheats which I wrote in my other review for Sims Unleashed. =)
Rating: Summary: I lost interest fast... Review: Sure, this is a good game, in the beginning. It was fun for the first two days or so. Then, you run out of things to do. There aren't many choices giv en with this "pack". I wouldn't choose this as any of my favorites.
Rating: Summary: Disappointed Review: This is the first expansion pack that i have bought to go with the deluxe edition. I must say that i was quite disappointed. While on vacation your sim cannot interact with any of the other sims which makes it hard to keep the social bar up. I also found that there were not alot of new items added, there is only so much u can do on the vacation, and nothing that is really all that exciting, they could have been alot more creative with this one. I can play the normal sims for hours on end and not get bored.... after an hour with sims vacation, i had done all there was to do.
Rating: Summary: For those over-worked Sims... Review: Take a vacation! This is another GREAT expansion pack to add to your Sims collection! I have every single expansion, and I LOVE them all.. call me your neighborhood Sims addict. :D In this expansion, you get the ability to take your Sims to a vacation resort. This varies from a snowy mountain, to a serene cabin in the woods, to a beachfront paradise. Everything an over-worked, underpaid Sim could dream of! ALso included are DOZENS of cool new items that your Sims can play with while on vacation. The boardwalk at the beach includes several games your Sims can play to earn tokens. With those tokens, they can get all sorts of Sim junk! And another new addition is a shelf your Sims can put their junk on when they get home so they can always remember their special trip to the beach. The more frigid Sims can enjoy snowboarding or have a good old-fashioned snowball showdown. For those Sims who want to relax, there are new hot tubs to play with as well. Also, your Sims can rent metal detectors and search for buried treasure.. who knows what the other Sims might have dropped in the snow during their mad rush to the buffet! If your Sim prefers roughing it, they can pitch a tent in the mountains and spend all day fishing. When they're done fishing, they can sit around a campfire and enjoy the fresh mountain air.. then sleep in a state of the art Sim tent. Talk about heaven! ;) This expansion pack is a blast and you won't regret getting it. Buy it for your poor Sims, they want a VACATION!
Rating: Summary: good stuff mama Review: not as revolutionary as Hot Date or Unleashed, but still good!
Rating: Summary: Although I Am Not A Video Game Fanatic... I Do Know A Thing. Review: ...I Bought This Game With my Birthday Money. I LOVE THE SIMS,...Yeah The New Features That You Can Experiance Are Cool, Like Visting Pre-Made Vacation Spots And Showing Your Sims To A Good Time. There Are Down Points To This Game And Sometimes They Overule The Good, Like How Slow This Game Is If You Have No Patience DO NOT BUY THIS GAME, Just To Get To A Vacation Spot With Your Sims It Takes Like 2 Minutes Or More, And To Bout 15% Of The Time The Game Freezes. Overall The Game Is Cool, And I Think The Sims Are Like The Coolest Thing And Yes The Good Things, Like The Idea Of Taking Things Home From Your Vacation And Creating Your Own Vacation Are Good, Sometimes Its To Overwhelming To Wait To Do These Things. And Another "Cool" Thing Is That You Can Have Like 8 New Neighbourhoos (I Think), And This Means Alot Of NEW SIMS, BUT!!! If Your Like Me You Dont Want Them All To Look The Same, Another Thing They Should Have Updated Was The Amount Of New Faces And Clothing You Can Dress Your Sims With. The Houses And Objects In The Houses ARE VERY GOOD! Thats One Thing I Was Impressed About, Because I Have Livin' Large, This, And Hot Date I can Basically Do Anyhthing With The Rooms In The House. The NEW Jobs Sims Can Get Is Another Good Feature (If I Even Bother To get Them Jobs, Because Theres A Money Cheat Code. !;!;!;..., hehehe I told You). So Basically This Is A Prety Average Game Nothing Perfect But Nothing BAd Either It Didnt Overlly Impress Me But It Didnt Let Me Down, I'd Reccomend, Hot Date Instead Though, Better Features If You Dont Want To Buy Them Both. Thank You For Reading My Little Review And I Hope I made Some Assistance To Your Purchase. READ ALL MY OTHER REVIEWS PLEASE. Thanks And Love Chris
