Review: I'm mostly always playing the sims and when I found out that they were making a sims vaction I new I had to by it and i did you should too. You can have your sims get tickets and the can by stuffed toys and other things with the tickets at vaction. Also you have just as many vaction lands as you do lots on the vaction. And you can also make you own hotels. But its 500$ to go. When you call other people you have an option of asking them if they want to go on vaction with you. You can get your date and bring them there they may love the hotel that can make but it might take long to biuld it.

Review: This game is just like hot date or house party, with a few more items and being able to go on vacation. This game gets so boring. The Sims collection is only good through House Party, then after that it is more boring than watching some movie 400 times over and over in a row. So if you get this game for cheap, you might as well buy it, but after all is gets really boring.

Summary: The Sims Vacation
Review: This game is really cool!As most of you probably know, The Sims is a computer game in which you can control people; telling them when to eat, go to work, or sleep. The Sims Vacation is, in my opinion, the best Sims expansion out there! You can travel to vacation spots and spend as long as you like there. There are beach, forest, and winter resorts. All are fun, but my favoite are the winter ones. You can go snowboarding and everything! Overall, I would recommend this over any Sims expansion!

Summary: The Best Of The Expansion Packs!
Review: The Sims Vacation is an excellent expansion pack. Although it is rated T for Teen, that is only because adults can "play" in the hottub but it doesn't show anything and younger kids who wouldn't know what that is wouldn't think anything is bad. They just see them going under the water and lots of bubbles. As far as how good the items are, it comes with over 150 new items for your pleasure. On Vacation Island, which gives you 9 new lots to create new vacation spots, your family can choose from the tropical beach, a nice camping outing, or a winter wonderland. Down at the beach, they can do lots of stuff, like volleyball, fishing, building sand castles, hunt for burried treasure, and other stuff. At the camping grounds, they can also fish, hunt for burried treasure, and lots of the other stuff they can do there. They can also have water balloon fights, camp out in tents, and other great things. At the winter wonderland, one of my favorites, they can even snowboard, along with the treasures and fishing. They can spend the night in an igloo or a hotel... you decide! In all of the vacation spots, they can have a souvenier shop, where they can buy new clothing, post cards, or little animals. They also can have bars (which serve non-alchoholic drinks), buffett tables, and people to answer any of your questions. But the fun doesn't end when you come back home. There are many new things to do at home, too, like new furniture and electronic arcade games. Don't forget about new heads and bodies for your sims and new wallpaper/floors/windows/doors/etc. IF YOU HAVE TO BUY ONE SIMS EXPANSION PACK, BUY VACATION!

Summary: Fun... with a few flaws
Review: This is a good game, but it's not as original as Hot Date was, it's the same deal where you call a cab/car to pick you up, and you go to a new world, which you can customize if it pleases you. There are, as usual in all the expansion packs, new items, wallpapers, floors and so on. While it may be endless fun for some people (generally people my age, 13 and under) it can get a bit boring. While there are new interactions you can use on the kids, and new items leading to more ways to have fun, it will only be fun until the next expansion pack, which, knowing Maxis, doesn't come out much later. It's a lot of fun for me, but I will agree with some people that it does get a bit boring after a while. However, all of this is just my opinion, and considering it all, it's a pretty good game.

Summary: Great Game
Review: I was so exited for this game because I knew it would be something to replace the Hot Date expasion (I had to take it off due to so many bugs).
And it is great. I love taking my sims on vacation and it still gives you the many options Hot Date gave you even if you don't have Hot Date on your computer! Some of the options would be like the different ways to kiss, hug, and so on.
But one thing I found odd, and I don't know if it's just my game or not, is that other sims never stay the night at the vacation resort.
Only one family a day will come and stay until about 9:00 PM. Then the little bus comes and pick them up. And if you look at the begining screen after you put the disk in your computer, you will notice a snowy lodge filled with sims on vacation.

Review: this game is a great game for everyone who likes comtrolling the lives of other people. if you liked the original sims, you are going to love this one too! Although it is best owning all of the expansions so your sims can have loads of fun! You can do much with this game, if you also own hot date you can go down town and have fun. you can also meet new people. There are tons of new interactions you can use also. The sims vacation has tons of items and skins you can use. i think they should make one more sims after the next sims (the sims online) and make it the sequal with tons and tons of new items and interactions..... maybe they should allow you to buy cars and drive them around and maybe make your clothes get dirty so you have to wash them wit a washing machine, or they can atleast add a basement because most ... do have basement. But yes this game is a kick [butt]... game!!!!

Summary: Fun but...
Review: It's alot of fun but you better have a fast computer cause it takes a LONG time to load! You can go on vacation of course and build your own resorts. It's a whole new way to interact with your family but it's to slow to get 5 stars. It's defiantley worth buying but hot date was better. There are alot of new floors and wallpaper but most of the new items can only be used on vacation but some can be put in you're home! I reccomend this but I would buy hot date 1st

Review: I agree with some of the comments that the game loads a bit slower. I like the new areas of vactaion and the items that can be used. I think if the game itself took less time loading it would be that much more enjoyable.
