Summary: Roller Coaster Tycoon 2, a coaster building fan-fare
Review: Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 is the next genaration in coasters and fun. I think Most People can agree that Chris Sawer has done it again. You can choose from different Six Flags parks. You can see how good you are verses the rides, wich include stuff like the Viper, Goliath, and DeJa Vu. The objectives also have new twists as well. This is Chris' best work yet. Starting in the year of 98'. You'd think it would be a masterpiece. They've also raised the ceiling 'abit so that the coastere are about twice as high.
The graphics are also a thing 'a beauty. That's only if you look at them pretty dang close.
I know I'm going to love this game and I know you will to! 5 stars. 100% satifaction and coolness.

Review: What can I say that will convince you how good this game really is. One thing I can say is it is able to drag me away from the sims. Not that it replaced them, I just spend a little more time with RCT. I have seen the screen shots and I had to say wow, the peep got a little smarter, the graphics are a little cleaner and the building techniques are expanded.
From what Chris did when he made us Corkscrew Follies and Loopy Landscapes was improve and give us more freedom. I have a feeling that he did it again. I think we will be more pleased and glued to your computer for hour after entertaining hour. And hey for all you who have never tried RCT get the demo. Then look at the pictures on Chris Sawyer web site of the new changes.

Summary: I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: Omg, how much sleep did I lost with RCT? I was obsessed with the game and my friends ended up too. I can't wait for RCT 2 to come out. Another day of long nights up and no sleep. For anyone who hasn't played it yet, RCT is so much fun I started at 11 pm one night and next thing I know the sun was rising. Great game for Rollercoaster lovers.

Summary: Its about time
Review: When I first heard of the roller coaster game, it was thrilled and I am sure it will be a great game. Then I went to the Chris Sawyer ...web page and found out that it might be a little to complicated, their are so may more options and new stuff that you can do that it might tip the prefect balance of fun and simplicity. Go to the site to see for your self.

Summary: Fun!
Review: This game is going to be so cool because I love the other Roller Coaster Tycoon games. I wish you could be a customer in somebody's park and you could pick on what rides you wanted to go on and then ride them. But I'm glad this game is coming out becuase I will be playing it all day! It will rock!

Summary: Hmm...
Review: While the game remains the same, I can't help being annoyed with it. Reasons include that the guests have actually stupified. *The Major Bug* is -- and did anyone else notice? -- When a tired guest paces back and fourth, soon about a million tired guests are and there's nothing stopping them from exiting they just randomly cram in one spot. Another bug is the random Error Trapper. Save your game FREQUENTLY, every ten minutes. I usually make about five different files for a given scenario and overrwrite them every few minuters because the super-annoying Error Trapper simply pops-up and exits the game, and nothing will be saved.

The problem with RCT 2 is, in a nutshell, lack of development. Not much has changed - graphics, rides, shops - it's all fairly the same.

Another flaw is the parks aren't realistic. Most parks have decor for the holidays-- Halloween, Xmas, etc. but RCT 2 supplies no decor for holidays. There's also no "real" shows like parades or stage shows. Just the 3-D Cinema, which is probably dinkier than it looks!

The premade scenarios are fairly difficult even in the Beginner tab (Crazy Castle is just impossible. you always run out of money, even if you just build a simple coaster). The Expert ones are IMPOSSIBLE on all levels. They simply cannot be beaten. The objectives try and make you get $500,000.00 park value, and are darn near impossible.

The Six Flags things are believe it or not a major FLAW. Who would want to build inside an already-filled park?

I guess the scenario problems don't really matter, because realistically, you can build countless scenarios with the Scenario Editor.

The game's much more fun with a "Trainer" programme. Yes, that's cheating but it makes the game easier, but not too easy. I'm not even a beginner, I've had the game (well RCT 1) since two years. But still, the Roller Coaster Building is fairly difficult. How is it that a Six Flags park , and you can see yourself, can have rides with like 10 inversions and still have tolerable nausea ratings for the guests? One thing that ticks me is the Extreme Heights scenario. Enter and you'll see Flaming Fury. It has a lot of speed and flips and yet it's still Only High, Very High, High in ratings! Grrrhh!

The game runs fairly slow on any computer. It has a "LOADING..." prompt for any loading/saving, entering a game, scenario editor, rollercoaster builder, etc. thing you try to enter which really annoys me to the point of explosion! The game is slow even on super-high-end computers.

The game continues to be unrealistic. First of all, no park in the world has a coaster called "Flying Turns". Second of all, why do they crash so easily? I think the game's too harsh when it comes to the Roller Coasters deal.

So I guess worth the buy but most fans will not like it, in my opinion. Newcomers will love it, cause they won't see the primativeness!

Summary: Tycoon games has done it again!
Review: About a month ago, at the movies to see Meet The Fockers, I recieved a demo CD of Rollercoaster Tycoon 3, which I have yet to play. It reminded me of how many hours at a time I'd spend on Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 and 2. It rekindled my interest and I popped RCT2 in my cd-rom, installed it, and I was on my way.

Once again, I couldn't help myself! I can't believe I almost forgot how unbelievably addicting this game is! It's basically like RCT1 expanded, but, if it ain't broke, why fix it? Designing coasters, rides, customizing paths, stalls, bathrooms, et cetera, are still the standard, of course. Of course, if that gets boring, you can drown guests, crash coasters, stick a little piece of pathway way off in the distance (not connecting to anything) and leave a poor, hapless guest to wander there forever and watch them grow madder and madder... it never gets old.

One gripe, however: building coasters is not as easy as you might have guessed. There's a couple of things that could happen: the train might not make it up a hill (but if there's two trains going, at least you can watch 'em crash and explode), or it might get an intensity rating of "Extreme" or "Ultra-Extreme", which is basically a "TO BE DEMOLISHED" stamp on your coaster (no guest gets on coasters with those ratings). But those are minor.

Anyway, this is definitely a cool sim game. In fact, I'm off to play it right now. Cheers.

Summary: R.C.T 2 Rocks!
Review: This game is so addicting creating an amusement park, rollercoasters and watching guests ride the rides you designed or premade coasters. Guest get off a ride and if they have a low nausea level they will get sick and then you have to get a handyman to clean up the mess. Vandals will bust up yur park benches (even the stone ones!) so you need security guards to protect your property. Rides break down and even catch on fire so you need maintence men to repair and inspect rides. Guest get hungry and need to use the restroom you can even hear the toilets flush, how funny! You will spend hours playing this game, even to wee hours in the morning and go to work on very little sleep. I am looking foward to rollercoaster tycoon 3 !

Summary: A VERY FUN AND EXCITING GAME!
Review: ~~~I would give this game 4 out of 5 stars. There were plenty of levels to choose from and they were grouped into easy-heard levels. Also, there was an option to make your own Six Flags park and to view ones that were already made by the computer. They are amazingly like the real ones! The grphics were soso and the guests kept barfing!!! In real life people almost never barf after riding the roller coasters! The ride lists were extensive and the themeing was great. I created a huge Six Flags America, it was great! I just ordered Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 (11/14/04) and I can't wait to get it. I hope it is what I expect it to be. And one more thing, I hope my computer won't slow donw from the game(were talking 256 MB of RAM people)
