Summary: Disappointing
Review: Although this expansion gives the availability of just calling and partially keeping a relationship alive, the amount of time to build and keep any type of relationship inhibits the availability of advancement in job promotions.
Our family is nuts about the origional and house party, but this one has dissolved that interest and hot date sits unused. We will uninstall this expansion so that we can get back to enjoying this game and hope for a better expansion in the future.

Summary: What a fun game
Review: This game offers so much. If you buy it, make sure you have a weekend to play because you won't want to leave your computer. There's so much to do and if you're a fan of the Sims then you know what I'm talking about.

Summary: Right plan bad execution
Review: I like the premise of Hot Date but the game is too slow and sometime causes the computer to freeze. A patch is definitely necessary. Can't blame Maxis becuz the thought was in the right place. Just wish the game was better

Summary: Original but not great
Review: It was a pretty fun game but its pretty hard. Its not any House Party or Livin Large. But I really liked it. If your a die hard the sims fan you will like this.

Summary: The worst of all
Review: When my sims goes to downtown she just stands there all day. Doesn't move or goes to talk to anybody. I have to tell the sim to do everything. Waste of money and very slow.

Summary: definitely a must
Review: The Sims:Hot Date is definitely a must have. It adds literally TONS of new options to the game. New items, new social actions. I love the way they can cuddle on the couch. It's so cute. And if their date blossoms into love, and marriage. And if they're to have children, would you believe they can now tuck in their kids! This is a rare thing and my sims have only done that twice. But it is interesting to watch. I hope that you buy, and enjoy, this great e-pack. If you have to buy one for the sims, let it be this one!

Summary: The Sims : Hot Date... more fun than guam!
Review: The Sims: Hot Date is great. A superb addition to an already great game. For the first time we can now take our sims away from the security of their cozy little mansions and get them out in the grunge of downtown living. My little Nimroy has already started a small monopoly of the ice cream shops after he bought out a small Canadian run shop. Nimroy also has the downtown market cornered on Swiss influenced French cusine. It is my plan that Nimroy will do to SimCity what Ted Turner did for Atlanta... but those are just my dreams and I shouldn't pressure the child into living my dreams... I guess I really shouldn't try to live my life through Nimroy... But wait... isnt that the whole point...
