Summary: Not as fun as I thought it would be
Review: This game really dissapointed me. The grahics were really great and all but the game play and control really [was not good]. This game is really hard to play. HOMM3 was simple and way better then this.
My advice do not buy this game. This game [is so bad] that I am willing to sell this game ...

Summary: The Best Argument for Dropping Out of School yet!!
Review: This game is a must have. It combines the proven HOMM strategy with all new options. Bottom line, they kept everything good and improved graphics, editors, sounds, and generally what makes the game enjoyable. Not to mention minor adjustments to the strategy that make it the best TBS, if not the best game of this year. Even if you are not a hardcore gamer, the game is easy to learn and enjoyable to everyone. People who have not played Heroes 4 are just ignorant when it comes to pc gaming.

Summary: Another wonderful addition to my favorite game series
Review: As with each of the other new versions 3DO/NWC has added a lot of new stuff, the most significant being that heroes are active participants in combat. This has been a litte diconcerting at first because "my formula" for winning has to dramatically change. I'm still learning, and getting my butt kicked sometimes. I think magic skills are more important than combat ones for the heroes (that way the hero can sit back and lob spells in to the combat rather than wander in and get killed).

I think this is the last time that the Heroes games can get more complicated before they will start going downhill (Like many other game series).

But once again all of the new stuff and new challenges in the game will take a while to fully learn and understand but that's a big part of the fun. If you have played the previous versions and liked them...this is an absolute must get. If you never played any of the Heroes games, ACT QUICKLY...go buy III imediately before it gets to hard to find (its cheap these days), and a year from now when you've played all the scenarios and campaigns buy Heroes IV.

Oh well, enough review writing...my black dragons are waiting to go fight and are getting impatient LOL...tot to go.

Summary: O' Yea!
Review: For all of you heroes fans out there I strongly recomend this game. If you loved heroes 3 and you are starting to get the feeling that you are a little too old for it theen this is the game for you. I bought this game yesterday and I have been playing it ever since. It is a more sophisticated version of heroes 3. The best part is the combat. Now, instead of moving your players back and fourth, it is more like the gameplay. It takes about 3 turns to get to the enemy. teh coolest part is the hero fights with you! But, to win, you dont need a hero. You can roam around as creatures who have an army. This is awesome because I was using black dragons and he was flying all over the map. This is by far my favorite computer game!!!!!

Summary: Not bad, not bad at all
Review: I just got the game today. I have been a fan of the Series since HMM one. If you played previous ones before, you know what you will get in essence.

If you want to know the difference between this one & the old ones...
-Well, the graphic is a lot better, the creator once again did an excellent job. I am impressed.
-You get the same problem as the old Heroes III- Long loading time if you don't have a new computer.
-Heroes could be used in combat. COOL idea.
-The stats, magic, & heroes leveling has more depth... but it makes the whole system more complex. In other words, a bit more interesting, but you lose the simple elegance of the old Heroes.

If you have been a Heroes fan, buy it. If you are new to the Series, I suggest you try Heroes III complete first.

Summary: Awful...as much as I hate to say it....
Review: I have been a die-hard Heroes fan since it's inception...and needless to say Heroes 3 and Armageddon's blade ROCKED! I've been eagerly waiting for Heroes 4 for 5 years now...got it the minute it came out...and man, what a disaster. This game bears no resemblance to it's predecessors, and they have broken away from what made the game so unique. This game is basically a step up from Age of Wonders...as much as I hate to say it. The fact that any piece can wander independently of heroes is an interesting twist but it takes away from strategic planning, in heroes 4 you had to make the choice, do I free up resources, explore, or expand...now a peasant can do a heroes job grabbing up goodies, recruiting, and exploring. You also never get to grow attached to your heroes or your pieces because they CONSTANTLY die...and die and die...you simply replace with the seeming endless supply from your towns (towns constantly produce day to day unlike week to week in previous heroes games) Oh and did I mention the HORRIBLE music score???? It's OPERA!OPERA!!! The gameplay itself is also painfully slow...it takes forever to resolve the simplest battles. The graphics are also hideous...the pieces are animated well but they are about the size of your thumbnail on a 16" monitor. And heroes no longer bestow bonuses upon their troops...outside of the moral, luck, speed, offense, defense secondary skills. Now I would be remiss in mentioning some of the positives. The new hero skills are cool, way cool...very unique. And they introduce the ability to distribute artifacts among your troops and intro the use of potions...kinda cool. But the whole charm of previous heroes has been totally lost. Hey maybe that's what heroes fans have been looking for but not me. Now normally complicated is good. But in this case, it's bad, very bad. They managed to bog down the gameplay to the point where it's actually boring (how is that possible you ask...buy and find out), and I personally feel that there is actually less strategy involved relative to heroes3. If your looking for a change or loved age of wonders, this is your ticket..but this is not a worthy sequel to heroes3...they tried to jazz it up too much...sounds stupid I know, but you'll see.

Summary: What no multiplayer!?!?
Review: Ok I have been waiting for this game for a long time and I am at a loss as to why there is no multiplayer included with the game. Every other Heroes had why not this one? Everything about this game seems great except for that. What the [heck].

Summary: its TOO addictive
Review: the Heroes of Might and Magic Series are very addictive games. They [draw] you in and hours fly by like seconds. Your prescious time gets wasted extremely fast. Even though the game is very enjoyable, the way you get addicted to it makes it lose one star.

Summary: Heroes of Might and Magic VI
Review: A typical adventure game takes advantage of previous Might and Magic ideas to creat the best game yet.
A real great game. People familiar with previous games will get all they expected plus more.
This game takes creatures to the max. Old gamers will recognize all their favorites. This game also has a great selection of artifacts.
