Summary: Can it get much better than this?
Review: Well, of course the answer is yes it can, but after Starcraft, it ain't gonna be easy.After playing the game for two years I have to say this. The missions in single player mode are challenging and entertaining, focused on helping you master each aspect of a specific species development as well as honing your strategy and deployment skills. The graphics are great for 2D top-level strategy game. It's fun and innovative. On it's own, in a single player sense, it's a great game to be enjoyed by all. But when you're done the single player missions, comes the fun. Fire up an internet connection and prepare to be slammed. Think your some guru of Starcraft strategy because you defeated the game? Think again. Pit yourself against the users of Battle.net as you gang up in teams of 2-6 to beat the life out of each other, or the ever intelligent computer. Had enough of the melee maps? Then switch over to the ladder tournament games, or the "use map settings" where custom rpg like games and all out brawls spring forth on your screen. Think you got what it takes to master this enormously intense and diverse game? Think you can handle it? Think again.

Review: I hate you Blizzard, I HATE YOU. Look at what you've done to me.....as if WarCraft II wasn't bad enough ruining a whole summer for me, NOW you have to ruin a whole year of college for me! Please, please stop making such good real-time strategy games, especially with awesome units like the bodaciously cool Siege Tank. I need to have a girlfriend, a life, a muscle-toned body, but it's becoming hard to find time for other things since I can't stop playing rounds of 'Craft on Battle.net. For the love of God, STOP IT! NO MORE GOOD GAMES!

Summary: starcraft is awsome
Review: Starcraft is my favorite computer game it has lots of levels with online competition. I spend hours battleing online I have beaten the game twelve times. almost all of my friends have Starcraft and play it as much as I do. If you like other war games like Diablo or age of empires then you will like this game.

Summary: Simply the best
Review: Even though I play mostly the Brood War expansion pack, it's a real treat to go back to the basic units and special abilities. It's hard to get tired of this game, especially if you play multiplayer via Battle.net or LAN connections. I link up with my friends on a hub and play StarCraft almost the whole time. It's challenging enough to be interesting but not so much that it makes the game impossible. There are so many ways to play the game. Concentrating on air battles or ground battles makes a completely diffent experience for each race, almost giving a feel of six races rather than three. All I can say is BUY THIS GAME!

Review: Starcraft is one, if not the coolest, game I ever played. It is so fun; anyone that does not have this game absolutely needs to buy it right away. Believe me, when I bought this, I got a ton more than I thought I would get. YOU NEED TO BUY THIS GAME!

Summary: Better over time
Review: This really is a great game. When it first came out, I was burned out on real-time strategy games, having played Warcraft 2 to death. I played the first 15 Starcraft missions, then gave up on it. Partly, my nerves were shot: RTS does that to it. It's a very frenetic type of game, with lots of rapid clicking, scrolling around on the map, trying to keep it all under control. You have to hold a lot of stuff in your short term memory, and (in the harder levels) the constant onslaught of enemy attacks tends to make you forget what you were trying to do. --This is one down side of RTS games in general, and Starcraft is no exception in this regard. A month ago, I picked Starcraft up again, and I've been playing it ever since. Although I still like the fantasy setting of Warcraft better, Starcraft really is a fun game. Each of the 3 races has its own character, and there are a *lot* of units, upgrades, special abilities, and compinations / permutations to make becoming and expert in the game a huge challenge. This is definitely a game you can sink your teeth into and get your money's worth out of.

Summary: The best game ever made, period!
Review: When Starcraft hit software shelves all these many months ago, I had high hopes. They were met completely. I've played every RTS out there. Age of Empires, Dark Reign, Age of Empires 2, the entire Command and Conquer series. Starcraft is better than all of them. Starcraft is like having three games in one. First you get to play the Terrans, then you start on the Zerg campaign. It was like starting a new game. The three races are so different that the game has almost endless possibilities. I was sucked into it and still play it on a regular basis. It was the best $ I ever spent on a computer game.

Summary: Starcraft. THE most fun real time strategy to date
Review: There are many real time strategies to choose from, and most of them are much more complex in gameplay and in graphics. But folks, I have to say that I have found no RTS that is more fun and addicting to play than starcraft. Since broodwar was released, the game is even more fun! The single player components are very entertaining and the story line is top notch. I want to emphasize that because it is one of the best qualaties of the game. The multiplayer part of starcraft is what keeps me playing. I am really wondering if this game will ever get old to me, but it hasn't yet. This game is perfect for somebody who wants a game for the fun-factor and re-playablity.

Summary: The coolest game ever!
Review: I think StarCraft is the best game out there. It has cool characters and pretty nice units. The ships like CF/A-17 wraiths are the best. It has a great storyline and the action level is sufficient. The graphics are great and the game quality is good. Sometimes it seemed like they were trying too hard to make it dramatic though. Overall an exciting and addictive game.
